This place is awesome and provides every service you could need for your dogs. When I first started using them it was in preparation for a trip and I would be boarding them. I learned so much about my dogs just from the original assessment. I now take my dogs there for day care, grooming and boarding. The dogs were reactive to other dogs before I started taking them and the socialization with other dogs and handlers has helped them so much. Now they are protective, not reactive, which is what I want. All the staff are wonderful and make the transfer easy and most importantly the dogs jump in the car to go and are happy when we get there. My dog went to K9 Secret Service for several years and he loved it! He was one of the first big dogs to spend the day when there were mostly smaller sized dogs. He was excited every day he got dropped off. I think going to daycare really helped my dog socialize with other dogs. My dog is reactive at the sight of other dogs. He's good with people. He can be an anxious barker. He doesn't always eat when he boards there, but it's because he's anxious. They tell me that they try other alternatives to get him to eat, and sometimes he will. K9 Secret Service staff are friendly and helpful with our dog Milo. They always say he's a good boy! He doesn't have any dog friends, but has lots of human friends in their staff! Trusting someone to care for our dog is challenging, especially our strong and stubborn boy, but the staff has reassured us that they can and do keep Milo safe and cared for. I really appreciate the extra mile they they'll go to help my anti-social dog feel comfortable and well taken care of. read more

Everyone at K9 is super amazing and very attentive to my dog's needs! I got Pono from the shelter and he was super timid and very cautious of people and other animals. Even when we were first meeting him the humane society people would tell us that we had to wait for him to come up to us in order to create trust. Pono is very bad with other dogs and every trainer told us to get him socialized at a doggy daycare. I actually met Lee-Ann at a Ward pet fair event a couple of months before I got Pono and when I adopted him they were the first people I contacted. I let her know all of Pono's traits and how he needs some help with people and other dogs. We brought him to the place and she came out to see how he reacted to her.. of course, he growled and barked a little at her but she still wanted to do the assessment. I was so nervous. We left Pono for about 4 hours and he came out running to us! He looked so happy and when Lee-Ann came out to go over his day he was jumping all over her and giving her kisses. He absolutely loved them! He has been going every week for about two months now and has grown on the staff a lot! They are all so kind and loving towards the dogs! They even put on some holiday events for the dogs. ONE IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHT: They have helped Pono very much with his socialization with other dogs. He went from being in a small room with a couple of other dogs to slowly being able to go into a bigger pack. When I saw him in the main room I was so shocked and almost cried because I was so proud of him! I saw a review where they said there was urine and feces everywhere but that is NOT true and they take care of the space and the dogs very well. Everyone is super nice and the place is perfectly clean. Pono will continue to go to this daycare and he loves it. Hoku has been attending daycare for over a year, since he was a year old, and he loves it! He gets all excited when we're still a couple of miles away. He usually walks very well on a leash but as soon as we get out of the car he pulls me all the way to the door....it's like we can't get there fast enough! If the door doesn't open right away he'll paw at the door to go in and once we get in, he rushes to join his friends....both human and furry. Seeing how excited he is tells me how great this place is. Everyone...staff and owners are super friendly and caring. They always let me know how my boy did...just like when your human child attends school. They have birthday parties and celebrate special holidays which is always fun, not only for your fur-babies but humans too! Hoku used to go once a week but he loves it so much that he now goes twice a week. He'd probably love going every day! We needed a dog sitter for our dog Chewy while we took our summer vacation. We were spoiled in the past and conveniently boarded him at a near by PetVet. But they stopped taking boarders since they were growing so much. So the search was on. I came across K9 on Yelp, but didn't initially call them because it was farther away from our house than I would have liked. So I called another pet boarding facility, but they didn't have any room and recommended K9 SS. That was the first hint at how good K9 SS is, if another boarding facility recommends you, that's a good sign. It was super easy to go on Yelp and start a quote and ask questions. Lee-Ann (the owner) answered my request super quick and we arranged an assessment for Chewy in the next couple days. When I brought him in, parking was on the street in front of the building, I rang the doorbell. Lee-Ann opened the door and we entered into a lobby. It was a good place for us to exchange Chewy without any distractions from other dogs. They took Chewy and he was off. When I went back to pick him up, I saw him walk through a pack of dogs like they were all friends. When we walk him in our neighborhood, he usually barks at a number of dogs, so this was a surprise. He looked comfortable. When it was time for our vacation and his stay at K9 SS, it was as easy as the assessment. They even sent pictures of Chewy while we were on vacation. I really appreciated that. My wife picked Chewy up and that was her first time going to the facility. I didn't give her any instructions other than, ring the door bell. Lol. Easy as that. Payment was easy... I don't think I've ever used the word easy as much as I've used it for this review. I would definitely use them again, and we are even thinking of doing some daycare days so Chewy can see his new friends from time to time. read more

I'm extremely grateful to Lee-Ann (the owner) and the employees of K9 Secret Service. I was a little nervous taking my dog (Jojo) to any day care just because he was always overwhelmed with anxiety at other establishments. Since he would cry so much, he was kicked out of one day care! Then K9 Secret Service came along and welcomed Jojo with loving arms. Somehow, they transformed him as he no longer has extreme separation anxiety and is able to play/ interact with other dogs. He was never able to before! For this, I am beyond grateful that Lee-Ann and her employees helped Jojo to be the best dog he can be. I've been taking Jojo to daycare almost daily and he's always excited to go. He runs out of the car to the front door! Lee-Ann always posts pictures on their Instagram page (which has a ton of cute pics btw!) and I can tell Jojo is having a blast with the other dogs. I was a little nervous of how Jojo would be... but I've also done boarding twice! The first time was almost a week and the other was about a week and a half. I had to wait this long to post this review of K9 Secret Service! My Goldendoodle absolutely LOVES it there. When we turn the corner near Washington Middle School, her front legs get shaky with excitement. When I pick her up she is always happy to see me, tired but so satisfied with the day! Reiko was supposed to be my service dog but I got injured and was unable to bond with her so we are doing this happiness thingy now. Lee Ann is a great and fun doggie mama that Reiko enjoys being around. The dogs that go there are well mannered and happy to be around there. With the controlled environment, it's easier for everyone to manage the dogs. Trusting someone with your fur baby is a MUST, prior to leaving them for long periods of time. After examining their surroundings and play area, I was convinced that smaller is better. Their rates are super compatible with other doggie places too. The place is super clean. They also wipe down the dogs prior to returning them to you when you call for them. There's parking in the back and right now the street parking is adequate. K9 does require a meet and greet to see if your dog can be compatible with other dogs. After that, the rest is at your convenience. I often use them for several hours when I need to get to doctor appointment, physical therapy and more. The packages that is offered is great. If you have a doggie that is your precious bundle (in my case, a rumble) of joy, take them to K9, you won't regret it. read more

We met the Owner Lee-Ann for a consultation for our Maltese Julius. This place is relatively new and Lee Ann had prior experiences at another doggy day care. She got insights from customers to incorporate in her business which are awesome! We love the flexible hours for drop off and pick up. When I brought Julius by in the early morning I was greeted by Joyce. We were grateful for Joyce being there early so I can go straight to work after leaving Julius in their good hands. We also liked the meticulous record keeping of the medical records for the dogs to make sure they all have their shots. The place looked very clean and the decor was super cute. Aloha Lee-Ann and the entire staff at K9 Secret Service for a job well done. This was the first time boarding our dog Tomo and he has not been known to be very sociable. We were going on a mainland trip for about 10 days and we decided to board our 4 legged son. We were nervous beyond belief but the staff at K9 was soooooo understanding, patient and wonderful with my dog. They treated him like their own and by the 2nd or 3rd day, he had warmed up to the staff and the other dogs there. About 4 or 5 days had gone by and I told my wife, no news is good news. Right after that I got a video sent to me of Tomo playing with some of the other dogs. I was so happy and relieved he was having fun. The staff listened to all my dog daddy concerns and treated me with the utmost care and importance. My dog never use to potty outside on walks but whatever they did, he does now. Yay!!!!! When I came to pick him up, Tomo was definitely happy to see us but definitely sad to leave. I will definitely recommend K9 secret service to anyone who needs doggie daycare or boarding. We are so absolutely grateful someone recommended K9 to us. Our dog is without question a better dog thanks to the love and care he gets from Leeann, And the AMAZING other puppy-loving caregivers. Our dog Pepe gets so excited every time we get within a block of this place and then basically sprints in to see his besties. It's a puppy party every day, and all the dogs play so well together. We started Pepe when he was a young pup, and he is so well behaved around other dogs because of the great socialization he got at K9. He gets such a good energy outlet. We work long hours some days, and it's so great knowing we can have a trusted, and LOVING, second home for Pepe on days when we need it. We've also boarded him when we've traveled and it's equally as reassuring knowing hes in loving hands and snuggling (open room, no crate option) with other pups, and the caregiver on duty! We checked out K9SS for our dog and they were pretty good with our dog. They have great hours and Leann was very kind to our dog. The facilities are clean but small. They do care for your dog if your dog has anxiety. They walk your dog and give them play time. It is a bit pricey but for the specialized care they give I think you have to expect to pay more. I think the only reason I wouldn't take our dog here are the prices. read more

I brought Johann, my German Shepherd, in to get washed and I am not sure what Lee-Ann did, but Johann's thick fur never felt so good. His under coat was so soft an fluffy and 3 weeks after his wash, he still felt clean. I was amazed and will definetly take him back for another wash.
