Closed at 7pm during the weekdays. Ordered chicken gallaba with hummus, 2 chicken kafta skewers with hummus, large salad upgrade for carry out. Bill total is $36.54. Food was done in about 10 minutes or less. The pickled veggies are $3.15 a piece. The hummus is super smooth. The chicken kaftas were smaller than I am used to. I could have gone with 3 since I usually give a full skewer to my husband. The kafta meat was okay, not a lot of flavor to it and a bit dry. The Hummus and garlic sauce helps at least. The chicken gallaba also was okay, needed more kick and seasoning for us. The sauce was all at the bottom, below the container. It's good they wrapped it in cellophane. The house salad is green and tasty. Had a couple of salad butts in my salad. Dressing and veggies are good. Tomatoes are a bit worn. Not sure why the carry out menu prices are all blacked out, maybe they changed prices. Service is quick and easy.

Portion size is good. Food taste ok but not as good as other Arabic restaurants. My rice was either undercook or it was leftover from yesterday. The middle of the grain is still kind of hard. Chicken and meat shawarma was not dry and flavorful but I think thats because they put a lot of msg in it. I was pretty thirsty and sleepy after the meal. Soup was bland and watery. I would try other Mediterranean restaurant if i were you

Kabob Kabob was great!! I just needed a quick little something this afternoon and I'm so glad I picked this one. The Fattoush salad was fresh & delish with the besttttt pita-croutons I've ever had (and I order fattoush plenty)! The dressing was light & flavorful. And I also got a full side of pickles because I can never resist! Can't wait to try more during a real meal hour :) I ordered through Yelp/GrubHub & my pickup was quick, easy & earlier than the suggested time.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Hummus and lamb shawarma with salad.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Hummus and lamb shawarma with salad. I wish I took a picture when I opened the carry out containers; beautiful presentation! Creamy hummus, delish lamb, salad dressing is out of this world. Very generous and kind staff. Fantastic!

Half deboned chicken meal (served 3 people)

This place is tucked into a little strip mall, but trust me their food is delicious. Their half a deboned chicken entree is HUGE it can easily be made into 2-3 meals for one person. Everything I have tried here has been very good, there's not an item that I have not liked. They even have a punch card program where you save $4 or $5 off after x amount of visits.

The chicken swarms tasted burnt and was very dry. The wrap was so dry that it tore apart when you pick it up. I've had better.

I realized the order was wrong when I got back to work in Troy. I phoned the restaurant and spoke to the Manager who was professional and apologetic for the error. He stated that he would leave a note for the staff to make me another sandwich the correct way for me to pick up the next day on July 1, 2026. I called the restaurant today to inform them of the conversation I had with the manager. The female worker inquired on the time that I would arrive, and I told her at 12:15 p.m. I arrived at the restaurant at 12:23 due to traffic, and the sandwich had not begun to be prepared. A young lady with a fair complexion and two-toned curly hair seemed to have had an attitude. She slowly walked over to the food station to write my food ticket at 2:25 p.m. and placed behind the other orders. The guy who was supposed to be making the sandwiches was tall with tattooed arms wearing royal blue underwear that was showing due to his sagging pants was instead having a personal conversation instead of preparing my food. Their lack of professionalism and nonchalant attitude about performing their work made me late returning back to work from my 30-minute lunch break just to find the sandwich was again incorrect. I felt they intentionally treated me poorly because they were angry about having to remake the sandwich. I will NEVER return to the Royal Oak location, and after reading all of the negative reviews I do not understand why that particular location is still open for business.

We usually cater from La Saj, but I loved Mr. Kabob's chicken shawarma wraps so much that I decided to try the catering menu--and wow. Absolutely fantastic. The chicken shawarma, kafta, tabouli, hummus... and even the rice was excellent (not the sad filler rice you politely ignore and then quietly abandon). Do not let the gas-station address fool you. The moment you walk in, you realize this is the nicest gas station you've ever seen: clean, bright, and stocked with an impressive selection of spirits, beer, and wine. Honestly, the food is that good, and the service is great, too. When I came to pick up my order, they even gave me some baklava on the house. When the apocalypse hits, this is where I'm hiding.

Maybe best to wait in the car, it's quite cold in the small back area. I recall seeing this food truck somewhere. Order via the kiosk just inside. Ordered a chicken shawarma salad, shug hot sauce, side of hummus, side of pickled chili, falafel balls, side of cauliflower. $39.47 No receipt, text or email only via the kiosk order and payment method. The greens, mostly the red leaves are soggy and wilted. The pickled red cabbage is decent. The shawarma is so-so. The chicken shawarma salad is average. Chicken and overall salad ingredients are rather salty. The cauliflower dish is underwhelming. Big pieces of flower, not super flavorful. The pickled chili is okay. The side of hummus is very small, barely worth getting it, not enough for much. Falafel isn't bad with the tahini.
