A SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS 1-Star Rating for the Employee Working Around 10 a.m. I work at DIA Airport, and during my lunch break, I realized I had forgotten my utensils. I went to KABOD, which is closest to my break room, and asked whether they could spare me a fork. The gentleman working there at around 10 a.m. replied loudly, "It's 11 cents. We charge for everything here." There were customers nearby, and he was also instructing a female coworker to charge me 11centsI was honestly surprised by his response, especially since I was only asking for a simple fork. When he noticed that his coworker had handed me a fork, he told her to charge me 11 cents. I didn't have my wallet with me, so I returned to the break room to get it. When I came back, I specifically asked for him because I wanted him to know that I had returned to pay for the fork. I gave him $10 and asked for $9 back, telling him he could keep the coins. I understand that KABOD is a business, but since we both work at the airport, I expected a little kindness and courtesy from an employee. I wonder whether customers are also charged when they ask for a simple favor. The coffee is great, and I want to give credit to the female employee who was kind enough to simply hand me a fork and say, "That's okay." The coffee hits the spot because by the time you've reached this location in the terminal, you've probably spent the morning making your way to the airport and all that comes along with it. Highly recommend. Great baristas that are fast and friendly. I go there several days a week and it is my go to spot for DIA.

Excellent coffee served very quickly. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and thought it was perfect. Lasted me the whole wait at the gate and then a couple hours into my flight. The pastries in the case were HUGE but I unfortunately didn't have the appetite for them. read more

When you own a coffee shop it's hard to find good coffee let alone a great coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive. I took a taste it was very good, however we have a very long day of travel a head of us so I asked them to add a shot to each order. The scone went perfect with this brew. If I'm ever at the Denver airport again I will definitely be getting a cup. read more

My coffee flavored water was priced just right at three bones. I would have been missed if it was anything above that. Apathetic staff who seems offended that I broke up their break and the coffee looks like it comes from one of those automated machines that swanky businesses offices have. Walking through terminal B at the Denver airport, I was looking for a smoothie later in the evening (around 8pm). Everything remotely related to smoothies was closed, but this place was open, and the lovely lady behind the counter was slinging smoothies! I ordered the King Berry smoothie, and it was made fresh, with banana, blueberry and orange juice..it hot the spot, and now I feel a little more refreshed and ready for my flight home! read more

While my daughter and I waited for our flight, I grabbed a fruit smoothie from Kabod. The employees were nice. I ordered the sunrise smoothie. It was priced about what it should be in an airport, $7.50 for a large. I saw her make it and she used real fruit, which is always a plus. The smoothie was tasty. I would consider getting it again if I'm in an airport with a Kabod. read more

Super overpriced. Decent coffee but a large latte shouldn't be $8 anywhere in the USA, even at an airport.

Getting a sausage, egg, & cheese bagel with the cheese missing should be an easy fix, right? Well that's what I thought too, but apparently they don't fix their mistakes at Kabod Coffee. Instead, the cashier attempted to gaslight me, telling me that my bagel had "absorbed the cheese" and that since it'd come prepackaged it was "impossible" that the cheese was missing, as if mistakes never happen when packaging food. I was told that they are a small business and therefore don't make substitutions or corrections, and aren't set up to do refunds, as if small businesses are excused from *checks notes* giving their customers what they paid for. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they attempted to refund me instead of just pretending to, but 10 days later I haven't seen the money they allegedly refunded me. You don't want to deal with these people. The owners have an adversarial mindset at best, and are so desperate to hold onto pennies that they won't even acknowledge that they have a responsibility to provide their customers with what they paid for. read more

We were here waiting for our transit flight to Moab and decided to get something to drink. I had vanilla latte and it was delicious! Price is very reasonable considering it's inside an airport. Most of all, the barista lady was very courteous and kind. read more

What a locally owned gem to find in the airport. We were sad when Kabod coffee closed in our neighborhood due to high rent, but now very excited to see them at DIA. Excellent Ethiopian coffee. Skip Starbucks- you will get amazing service and coffee at Kabod. And if you are lucky, the owner- Muluye will be working when you come through. They have 2 airport locations- one near B23/24 and the other at B89. read more

Service is terrible. The girl at the register is rude and snotty. The other two ladies at the rear who make the coffee were not much better. I went here because the line was short and sbux was swamped. I also generally like to support small business. Now I know why. My mocha was also cold as in room temp rather than hot. Nasty. Save your money and spend your time in line at Starbucks. This place sucks!!!! read more

I just tried the location in the Denver Airport B23 area. There is another location that i have not tried. But after my experience at the B23 location i will not try the other location. I love the story and i love coffee and i love supporting an alt to sbux. But the B23 location does not know how to make coffee and the coffee they do make was just milk and water. No rich Ethiopian coffee flavor that i love. It was also filthy with no customer service whatsoever. By the way a single shot 16oz cappuccino is exactly the same as a 16oz latte. She offered to put ice on my coffee then told me I've should've ordered an iced coffee and not hot coffee. She never apologized and had the worst attitude. Yes it's expensive, but I expect airport food to be overpriced. What irritates me is they wouldn't fill my iced coffee to the top of the cup. If I'm paying for 16oz (I didn't ask for any less ice) they should give you ice plus coffee to actually fill the cup. They said it was policy to not fill my cup when I asked for a full glass of coffee. Then I ordered a juice for my 3 yr old and they wouldn't give him a cup, lid, straw. Ugh! read more

I applaud any airport bringing local roasters in over the giant chain, but in decades of travel and countless airports this is the absolute positive worst coffee I've encountered. Crap coffee. Only 16oz and up and $1 for a dash of non dairy creamer. Not a latte- just a shot of cream. DEN should be embarrassed to have such a terrible representative of the local roasting scene. I ordered a hot 20 oz caramel macchiato. I was told that it comes with 4 shots. When I received it I could barely taste the coffee. I returned to the kiosk to ask if my drink had 4 shots. I was told it only had 2 shots. The person who told me she thought it had 4 shots acknowledged she told me that. The other employee clarified the iced has 4 shots. I told her I would not have ordered it if I had known that. She offered to add the 2 additional shots to my drink but would charge me for them.
