Thai chicken bowl and Açaí energy drink
    Ed D.

Since my initial review, I've tried this place multiple times again and my latest selections have been winners. Tasty, fresh and healthier than other options at the airport. This time I got the Açaí energy drink and the Thai chicken bowl. They're efficient so you get your drink and food fast even if there's a line.

Ordered the peanut butter protein smoothie its on the menu $9.99 but then w tax comes out to $12+ (double the cost of Jamba Juice). Size however was pretty tall. Service was pretty average. Ambiance average for airport fast food chain.

    Mighty mango smoothie

Airport food is pretty hit or miss BUT the Mighty Mango Smoothie is pretty bomb. In between flights, I stopped here for a quick smoothie, they were extremely fast. It was about $10 which is expected. I used the restroom as they made it so I have no clue what was used and I'm okay with that lol! 10/10 really hit the stop

I haven't had Freshens in forever since I moved. The service was great & expedient. The counter was clean and had a modern vibe. The menu offerings were far more than just smoothies. I ordered the Super C Immunity and it tastes like nostalgia! Loved a healthy option at the Denver airport and having Freshens again.

FOOD POISONING!!! smoothie was the only meal i had all day i was here for a connecting flight got a smoothie. After the flight i started running a high fever. Then the next three days (today's the third) I had nausea vomiting diarrhea. I am 100% sure it was this smoothie place that got me sick I don't know if they don't wash their fruit, their acai stock juice was rotten, or other health issues but be careful!

The company's straw choice is horrible. Too thin and weak for the lid hole.

Damn! I should have read reviews before ordering. I tried a PB protein smoothie. First issue is that the straws they provide are WAY too small and thin for both the drink and the tight opening in the lid which ends up squeezing the straw. Second, when I finally found the one employee who could speak English (she's the one with silver teeth), and both explained and demonstrated the straw issue to her, she laughed at me, like it was my fault. I embarrassingly walked away. Third, the smoothie was the absolute worst tasting. I don't know what they used, but the flavor and aftertaste was horrible. I ultimately threw it out and now regret leaving a tip. I will never visit nor recommend this place.

    They're really busy

This is a very busy location at the top of Terminal A in the Denver Airport. Jamba Juice is located in Terminal B. I wanted a protein smoothie. There was a long line and growing At Freshens. The line moves fast. It lacked hospitality. Greeting was nice but no connection. Only transactional. Even when they call your number, it's a drop and go. They don't even wait to see who's grabbing the orders. My Peanut Butter Smoothie tasted different. I'm thinking it was the protein. It burned my tongue while drinking it. Different from what I've ever tasted. I went to take it back but the line was longer than originally so I just tossed it after the picture. Grabbed an apple juice for the flight.

    Egg White Florentine crepe
    Mary Jane C.

Eh, I wish I checked the reviews on here before I got the crepe. Food: Got the Egg White Florentine crepe. The egg whites were like rubbery powder egg bits with no salt or flavor. The cheese and raw spinach were cold and there were wayyy too much bacon bits. Nothing was melted in so if I were to tip it on accident, all ingredients would fall out in crumbles. The crepe was literally already made from a bag heated up on a circular metal grill/stove. Freshly-made crepe wrap as the name Freshens implies - it was not. This one experience makes me not want to try this again even if the line is short. I'd rather have another vendor replace this option. Service: Fast and polite. Nothing wrong here in my quick and limited interaction.

My kids (now 7&9) love this place. It's our favorite food spot at the Denver Airport and we always come here when we have a layover. The smoothies are delicious and the crepes are yummy. They accidentally put dressing on my crepe but corrected it and it was fantastic. It tasted super fresh! My kids always ask which airport we are having our layover at and if it's Denver, they ask to come here. I was worried that it was gone but it was just kind of hidden by the construction over there. It's across from Dunkin Donuts, so make sure to look around the corner if there is still construction in between Dunkin and Freshens!

Great food at the airport. I ordered the Thai chicken bowl and a smoothie. Both were great! Next visit to Denver I would stop by.

Meh. Fresh but not tasty. And not fast. And over-priced. And not friendly. On second thought, double meh.

I don't grasp their love of ketchup...is ketchup a popular French condiment? They put it on every plate. (Turned out that it was necessary to moisten the dry hash browns.) Two of us at our table had choking fits while we ate. My greatest complaint -- Cafe de France IS NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE! There is no ADA parking anywhere near this business. Their double doors are extremely heavy and the youngster serving as host just stood at his podium and watched me struggle to get my walker through those doors...and the place wasn't even busy yet. When I told him the name of the group I was joining, he just kept repeating, "How many in your party?" When I realized that he didn't speak English, I just proceeded to find my group on my own. Upon exiting the room where my group had gathered, I saw that the place was packed for lunch...so packed, that I couldn't maneuver my walker through the crowd to get to the door. A couple of patrons had to get up out of their chairs and move furniture to allow me to pass and they were annoyed by my audacity when I said, "Excuse me, please." The cherry on top...I had the trots for several hours last night. As that was my only meal yesterday, I am drawing my own conclusions on the origin of that.
