She received a wonderful haircut, nails were clipped and ears were cleaned. Instead of the usual 5-6 hour timeframe , she was ready to be picked up in less then two hours (meaning not being held in a crate while they service several dogs in a assembly line style). She was calm and happy when I picked her up. We were so pleased that I have scheduled here next appointment. I highly recommend Petz Place for grooming and pet needs.

It became clear over time that the team is not properly trained in handling different dog personalities, especially more sensitive or anxious breeds. My dog became extremely scared during his appointments, to the point where it was obvious something was hurting him. No pet owner should have to pick up their dog shaking or extremely distressed after grooming. I expected a higher level of professionalism, patience, and knowledge from a national pet company. I hope Petco invests in better training for their groomers so that other pets don't have to go through the same experience. I would never recommend them for my pets. The store lost all of my business too. If I could rate a zero that's what it would be.
