Shortly after returning home, he began having difficulty breathing and became visibly distressed. We rushed him to an emergency veterinary hospital, where he began vomiting blood and tragically passed shortly after. He was a gentle, sweet, and healthy part of our family -- and this loss has completely shattered us. There were no prior signs of illness before his appointment. The timeline and symptoms have raised serious concerns. He had been groomed many times before with no incident. If your animals are like family, I urge you to use extreme caution. I wouldn't wish this kind of heartbreak on anyone.

Sometime the #1 Alfalfa and the #1 Bermuda would be bad but not all the bales I would buy. Now it is more bad than good. The alfalfa is full of sticks and roots. The Bermuda is totally full of purple bitter weeds. You get about a fourth of halfway decent hay out of a flake. I can't afford buying hay like that. I will seek out another source.

We have a small (20 lb) American Cocker Spaniel rescue. We learned that Petz Place was recently purchased by a Veterinarian and is under new management. First impressions: The store front is a well stocked pet supply store, very clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dog. She received a wonderful haircut, nails were clipped and ears were cleaned. Instead of the usual 5-6 hour timeframe , she was ready to be picked up in less then two hours (meaning not being held in a crate while they service several dogs in a assembly line style). She was calm and happy when I picked her up. We were so pleased that I have scheduled here next appointment. I highly recommend Petz Place for grooming and pet needs.

Saturday is the only day we have to come get feed for the dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats and sheep. But it is impossible to even shop when dogs are wrapping around all the aisles and the owners don't contain them. The employees of the vet clinic are incredibly rude and don't even assist in getting people to move their dogs. It's a total mess and after spending $1000 a month for years, we won't be back. I was excited to try Petco's Auto Ship service because I wanted the convenience of having my dogs'…read morefood delivered automatically. Unfortunately, my very first Auto Ship order was a terrible experience. I placed my order expecting it to arrive on time, but it never did. What made the situation even more frustrating was that Petco's own systems couldn't agree on the status of my order. One part of the website showed it as "Delivered," while the tracking page still showed "Out for Delivery." Customer service couldn't explain the discrepancy. I have security cameras covering my property, and there was never any delivery made to my home. Since my dogs couldn't wait for Petco to figure out what happened, I had to go out and buy another 40-pound bag of dog food myself. That completely defeated the purpose of signing up for Auto Ship in the first place. When I contacted customer service, the only options offered were a refund or a replacement. While I appreciate that they were willing to refund the order, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, the time I spent trying to resolve the issue, or the additional expense I incurred to make sure my dogs had food. The entire reason I signed up for Auto Ship was reliability and peace of mind. Instead, my very first experience left me stressed, frustrated, and without confidence in the service. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I canceled my Auto Ship and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope Petco improves the reliability of its delivery service and communication so other pet owners don't experience the same situation.
