I take my pups to Kagoots for the tech visits. Very friendly and the techs are great with my pups. From nail trims, shots, anal glands and even teeth cleaning. Very affordable and they dont try and push a bunch of services on you like when you go to the vet. Everyone at Kahoots is very nice and very knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer to your question, they will try they best to find someone who does. They are all very helpful and will help you taking your stuff, big or small to your vehicle and load it up for you. We have got 6 baby chicks eight years ago. The first time hoping for 6 hens. We did end up with one rooster and 5 hens. They were awesome chickens, but now they have passed. Now we got a new Brood, 6 more baby chicks. Hoping again for all hens. We have 5 hens and yes, we did get another rooter again, MR, BOB. They are going to be a year soon... The grandkids love going there to see the baby chicks and ducklings... read more

Great store with great products. They are in business for the longest time. Pricing are decent and well balanced. The pet store has good dog and cat food with premium ingredients. The customer service is friendly and the store follows proper covid protocols. The parking is a bit less compared to how busy the stores get, but overall they have really nice products. When you go inside the store is well lit and you can see every product properly. The pricing is mentioned for every product, so there are no Isles where you will find products without a price tag. I get all my farm stuff from here, poultry and goat feed to pest control, they've got most everything you're looking for. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their chicks are hit or miss though, I've had to return more than I'd like, because they died within a day or two. We incubate and hatch our own eggs yearly, so we know how to take care of chicks. It got to the point where we would just eat the cost of the dead chicks and stopped returning them, because we didn't want the staff to think we were doing something weird. Love this store! So happy that I found this place (by recommendation) and can now avoid PetSmart. They are so nice, have great products, and they gave us a dog food sample for our picky cockapoo who hates all food. You can tell they are real animal lovers, and seem to care a great deal about the owners and their pets who come here. They also offer low cost vaccines, which is great. I recently took my young and rambunctious Husky-Sheppard Mix pup to get his first teeth cleaning. I saw an flyer for the service being done here without the use of anesthesia. That sounded great and I wondered if they'd be able to hold him down and do a good job. Well they did! His teeth looked better that the day I adopted him one year ago. The cleaning was quick, thorough, he was not traumatized, and we were able to go on with the rest of our day normally since he wasn't whacked out on drugs. It was also very reasonably priced compared to the vet or other services that require putting the dog under. The staff was very friendly and explained in detail the state of his dental health, which was good. He looks wonderful and has much better breath now! I am extremely pleased with the results of this service and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a deep dental cleaning done on their dog. You guys made a boy and his dog very happy. I really like this pet store. I went here to buy food for my two dogs, very clean store, great quality food and impeccable customer service. I have been coming here since I moved to Riverside. I love the store, I love the staff and our Boston Terrier loves his Kahoots brand food, which is amazing and causes no allergy issues for our dog. Bostons show poor food quality on their skin in minutes, I have bought very expensive food and had a really sick dog. Kahoots lead me to their brand and grain fee, our dog loves the 3 flavors and all the snacks and other things we bring home. For a dog with such allergy issue to be able to eat pretty much anything in the store, shows the quality. Thanks guys! read more

This is my go-to spot for all my equine needs. Their prices are decent, it's clean and well maintained, there is a good variety of equine products, and the staff is super helpful. They also have a great pet store. My daughter loves looking at all the critters (she keeps trying to talk me into a chicken!). They also make a dog food that my pups go nuts over. I've been going to this place for years. The employees are always very nice and it's one of the only places nearby that carries Fromm Cat Food (HIGHLY recommend it). I also bought a scratching post for my cat for $20. They also sell a large variety of Oxbow products for small animals, it's the only place I can find the hay my chinchillas prefer. The only reason I knocked one star off is they sell birds and other small animals. Birds shouldn't be in captivity, many who are sold never get to spread their wings and fly. There are also many rabbits who need homes, breeding adds to the overpopulation problem. I know they're cared for (better than the pets at Petco and Petsmart), but I'd rather they encourage adoption instead. read more

Perhaps if you're looking for feed for horses and pigs (or other hairy beasts) this place might be OK, but if you're like me and just need to buy feeder mice for reptiles and amphibians, I say go elsewhere if you can. They just raised their prices on mice again and I think it costs close to $3.00 for a pinky! Customer service is good to OK, depending on who's working, and the place is always very clean and pleasant so I have to give them credit for that. This is a franchise so I was told they have little control over prices. Since it's the closest place to me that sales mice, I don't have much of a choice and at the end of the day, they're "A-OK." 3/5 stars. read more

I come here for the kahoots cat & dog food. I love the price and my pets love it, I alternate from this brand and also use two other brands and switch them out when they are pretty much done. We buy our chicken feed here. Every time I've been in to the feed store the employees have been friendly and helpful. I love that I can come in pregnant and with a toddler and just pull around and they load everything up for me! My kiddo loves to go next door to the pet supply side and see the birds and whatever small furry critters they have at the time. There is a very nice selection of pet supplies. Some of them are a bit more expensive than your big chain stores but I don't mind, I'm paying for the quality and service. So happy I found this place! I was looking for Fromm dog food and their website directed me to this pet store. I'm happy they carry that brand but also the staff was super helpful!
