Elliot's is my favorite local pet shop. I love bringing my dogs here, after I take them to the groomer as a treat for them. Selection: you can find some gems in here from their refrigerated section like goats milk meant for the fur babies. I also love getting duck head treats for my lab at home. The tiki cat prices are better than petco's and that's great for me and my cat because he loves them so much. Parking is usually easy, some days the lot gets packed during prime times. read more

I like Elliott's. They have a good selection of cat food & toys - they carry my brand of cat food and I almost always find a new toy for my cats while I'm there. Seems like they get new inventory pretty regularly which is nice, always seeing new items. They have reptiles, mice, fish, bird, and dog items as well. They have a resident bunny, Midnight, who is not for sale but very cute to look at and pet. Private parking lot. Customer service has always been fine. read more

really wanted to support mom and pop shops when my dad said he wanted to surprise my son with a new fish tank filled with neon fish. my husband and i made it a point to both go and properly inform ourselves. but despite that they gave us all the wrong information. we asked what was allowed in a 10 gallon tank and they sold us 12. 9 days after we got them 5 unfortunately died. they also said to feed 3xs a day but its only supposed to be once. we went to petsmart because it was closer and they told us a 10gallon tank is meant for 5. thanks to the staff there we are now better informed. read more

I've been coming to Elliot's for probably 30 years and have always gotten stellar service. Tonight was no different. It's nice to see that when I go in there's a bunch of employees that seem like they're having a good time at work and are still very attentive to the customers. Each time I go someone greets me and is more than willing to help answer questions. This isn't the case with many places nowadays and with the young employees that Elliot's has it gives me hope for today's youth. Prices were high. Lay out was not organized. I felt like I had walked the store 5 times and finally asked where the bird food was. No wonder why I couldn't find it.... I was recommended by one of my co workers about this place, bought my turtle (Boba) some snails, rocks, live plants, feeder fish, food etc. I really love this place, they have everything you need here from pet supplies, medicine, pet snacks, just everything! Sometimes you want to walk into a store and see the stuff you see online, I would rather support a local pet shop than amazon at times. They have friendly staff always willing to help out when you need it, on Wednesdays they have some discounts Store wide (except dog food) but hey it's still a little bit off my total which always helps. Went to buy the normal 20 lb bag of Merrick Backcountry dog food which was stickered at 65.99, it rang up at 69.99 and they would not honor the sticker price. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me that the sticker was wrong and I had to pay the additional $4. The $4 was not the issue, the false pricing is. I've gone out of my way to support my local business instead of ordering the same food delivered to my house. I will no longer be using Elliott's because I am not supporting these deceptive practices. Very disappointed at the bait and switch tactics being used here. Wow! The superstore for pets! I stopped by here to pick up dogfood. They actually had the brand and the flavor that my dog likes. In addition to a variety of pet food (premium and some more mainstream brands), they had accessories, treats, and OTC remedies. Also saw lots of freeze dried food products. Lots to choose from and they also had supplies for reptiles and fish. This store is better than the chain brands. The store also has plenty of parking in the back. BTW, the main entrance is in the back by the parking lot and not off the street. Will be back here again in the future. Shop at Elliotts and support local business. read more

I come here for fish. Everything is mainly healthy and all. But like every other pet store you'll run into sick animals especially fish. The prices are great especially on the reef fish the tanks could use some cleaning but I get it just to hold the fish til someone buys it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because every time I purchase a fish they end up with ick but no big deal. I just think cleaning and maintenance would prevent this. read more

Well, I have been a fan of this store for a long time and they have some great deals, but I went there last Wednesday as an employee picking up stuff for my boss and there wasn't one employee around to help me. I needed the largest bags of rabbit and guinea pig food possible- I found 25lb bags on my own- But I'm not kidding that I said loudly, "Does anybody work here?" And I got no reply. Usually I'm not helpless- lol But since it's on the bosses dime and my time- it just makes sense to get as much as possible and I had back surgery and I'm trying not to have another one. I even made a point in telling the cashier "No one helped me" Because seldom do I want, or need it- sucks when I do and it's not available. Also, to the manager- When most people get good customer service, they tend to spend more. read more

I come here all the time to get my bunny Timothy hay since they have such a wide selection. I decided to get my bunny some of the Bunny Banquet pellet mix that I didn't know has Corn. It might be the Kaytee brand but you're able to pour it yourself into plastic bags. Feeding your rabbits corn can cause serious digestive problems in your rabbit. Just to let you guys know! It also has peanuts that have no nutritional value it's more of just a filler. I also just noticed there are bugs in the bag that Im pretty sure didn't come from my house.. i just threw the bag away.
