Made a long hour plus trek out here as they had something none of the local shops had. Showed up and they had it ready to go for me. Great little shop with some variety of animals but quite a bit of supplies. Much more than I expected tbh. What I came in for was already great price, less than anywhere else even online, then in adittion they honored a discount from the recent show even tho I forgot to bring the voucher with me ‍ The over the top customer service has won me over and I'd happily drive 2+ hours round trip to make it out here read more

Must stop if you're in Riverside and are a reptile lover! There are several locations for Reptile Factory (all of the unfortunately a bit out of the way for me), so when we were in the area, I jumped at the chance to check them out! It's a definitely a newer store with newer displays, flooring, etc. Feels really modern and clean and I really like that! Loved the set ups for the herps and the fact that they also have live, bioactive vivariums as well. You can also purchase the plants or enclosures that are already set up for you! How neat is that! They have a good number of bearded dragons of all age ranges and morphs as well as leopard geckos with some nice morphs and coloring as well. This is much more variety than I have seen at most other reptile shops and the prices are quite reasonable (perspective of someone who just started being a dragon owner tbh). They've also got some snakes, isopods and other insects, crested geckos, a frilled dragon, and so much more. Good, affordable selection of feeder insects and it was nice to see some fatty hornworms here since most of the time I see them either quite small or skinny at other places (not fully yet grown). I liked that they also have some bagged greens ready for some of the herbivores/omnivores. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else and although it may look simple, but its great for someone who's there in a pinch or doesn't want to waste too much food getting it from a grocery store. Nice selection of tanks, substrate, hides, dishes, basking slate rocks, driftwood, and so much more. All I can say is that I wish there was one closer to me. read more

The reptiles are always taken care if very well. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I love coming in for my feeders and just looking at the huge variety of reptiles they always have coming in....I also appreciate that they don't yet irritated with me spending so much time just looking at them. I've gotten my leopard gecko here and I also bought him a bigger tank. I know things are the craziest we have ever seen and the scare of contracting the COVID-19 virus is real...we as customers are trying our hardest to accommodate and support small businesses in this tough time. Unfortunately not all businesses are flexible in excepting payments. Reptile Factory Riverside has made paying for food for your reptiles a very complicated process if you do not have web or email access when waiting in their parking lot. Just a few weeks ago I asked for someone to grab some crickets and she was told by an associate that "it's illegal to pay with cash" (ummmmm...I think he meant to say they would rather accept payment with card rather than cash). Curbside pickup is a great option to make sure our reptiles are feed and to continue to support small business but they fail to realize there is really poor cell service in their parking lot/area in general. In the meantime until Reptile Factory can began to work with customers in accepting payments in-house some of us will have to patron other local businesses that will allow you access to their facility and except traditional forms of payment. And yes the other businesses are safe and following the current CDC Rules and County Requirements and still allow you in their doors and accept both cash and card payments. read more

After reading all the amazing reviews and moving down here from NorCal, I was very excited to check this place out. To my disappointment, they had a very limited selection and the staff were not following Covid protocols. A sign on the door even said you didn't need a mask. The animals and tanks looked well cared for, so that is a plus. That being said, was overall disappointed in their selection and high prices, and will continue to order what I need from other online small businesses/venders. read more

We got 2 baby beardies from here a little over a month ago. The beardies were healthy and happy. We've been back several times for crickets, roaches and other snacks for our new babies and every time we go in, the staff is always so friendly and informative. I came here to pick up ABG mix but to meet two people who were knowledgeable about terrarium plants as well as their reptiles. I needed help on my bioactive tank and gave me a lot of information on how to keep it alive and what plants I should add. Absolutely LOVE this shop! I found out about it only recently and I've been coming here for my feeders and supplies ever since. Not only is the place kept very clean but the workers are friendly and very informative if you have any questions. I recently purchased a snake from here, and I could not be happier with him. All of their animals are kept very clean and and are healthy. Also their set ups are super cool and they do a lot of bioactive terrariums. Most of the reptiles they sell I had not seen anywhere else so they have a lot of variety of different species . They also have a couple other stores in different cities , so If you see something you like from the other stores on their social media, they'll drive it up to the store you go to so you won't have to. DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS FROM HERE !!!! Will not be returning to this store. I just purchased a heat light for my lizard 2 weeks ago for 13 bucks and it already burnt out. They said they will not accept an exchange after one week. My lights are on a timer and hanging so there is no way it would have been damaged. That is insane, terrible customer service. read more

Really loved this place. I was in the market for a snake and had always went to other places in the area that I am sure other reptile fans know of. I decided to give this place a shot and was very impressed. The selection of snakes was not as good as other places, however it was still varied and I was able to get a beautiful hypo milk snake. But the real awesome thing I loved was how clean the store was, and how helpful the staff was. The girl there showed me a variety of snakes and helped answer the questions I had. She didn't try to push sales on me, and even gave me a very good price on the snake. I gladly tipped the store for the help and will definitely be coming back. read more

We purchased a Zero Morph Bearded Dragon from "Kai" a few weeks ago. The experience was very good. There was a little confusion but nonetheless the final result turned out to be great. Wow ok I been to all the pet shops all the reptile shops you name it I been there. I have never ever been to a shop that has actually had everything I need. I mean every question every piece of equipment everything I need in the direction. That I am going with my aboreal enclosure. I was very impressed with the knowledge Katie provided the set ups the inspiration that I had been looking on other sites and pics I found all I need it's close and the animals are very well kept and the cages and if you notice no smell.
