I've been here several times. The coffee drinks are always pretty creative and are actually well executed with flavor and rich coffee taste. The staff is always very helpful and take their time sharing what goes into the various coffee drinks. The seasonal ones are very good. If I lived in the area and don't make coffee at home would def come here often. Solid.

Setting a goal to visit new coffee shops whenever I'm visiting my parents and this was the first one I decided to try as it's really close by. Love that this was apparently previously a bank. Makes the drive thru very fun though you have to cross the drive thru to walk in if you decide to park and go in (I did). There's a big vault door inside the front by the counter which is very cool but seems just for decoration (and storage?). Bright colors on the interior with a display case of treats if you're hungry. Got a large iced latte with nonfat milk and a little bit of caramel. Good flavor and fairly strong brew. A little on the expensive side but not much more so than most other coffee shops. The lid was leaky so I had to use a straw. Needed a little more ice because it's so hot out. Went out to the causeway and drank it by the beach. Definitely would stop in here again.

Cute shop, decent prices, friendly staff. Definitely more geared toward drive-thru (to go) orders because parking is minimal and there are only a couple sitting areas inside. Had coffee with a friend and we stayed for a couple hours. Saw spurts of busy-ness but never crowded. I enjoyed my matcha latte and warm croissant. Would def return.

This coffee shop has been my latest obsession because it's on the way to my daughter's swim lessons and they have a drive-thru AND it's much better quality than larger chains in the area. I love their seasonal iced lattes like the "lucky" pistachio and the aloha they're running currently that has macadamia and coconut flavors. They're quick, friendly and priced reasonably! They also have some indoor and outdoor seating.

I popped in to this clean and cool shop at 12:45pm on a Tuesday. The service was friendly and my double espresso was delicious as always from Kahwa! I ordered an assortment of creative pastries for my wife and I. Also, an egg sandwich! They were all bagged up, labeled and delicious. In the corner of this shop, there is an enormous bank vault clearly built many years ago. I think it's too heavy to move and it's certainly a unique element of this shop. Check it out! Life is good with tasty coffee and a unique and friendly shop!

I have been coming here on a regular basis since they opened. Some of the better brewed coffee I have had in Pinellas. It only got better when they introduced the app. Now, I can order ahead, and it's ready and waiting for me when I come thru the drive thru that they have. They have a decent menu for breakfast treats, and their coffee is served many ways. If you are driving on CR1, and, need that coffee, give Kahwa a try! My fave is a hot latte, extra shot, and vanilla or caramel!

Love this new location! Clean, great staff and still the very best espresso in the Tampa area. Had a Machiatto, Egg Bites and wing man had a Cappucino. All excellent. This location even had the obligatory hipster talking about how he reuses his plastic cups, making him far better than the rest of us! Also parking is a little tough, pull in to the lot just north of Kahwa's drive for easy parking. Do yourself a favor and quit going to Starbuck's... you want to support a cause? Support the great independent, local coffee shops in our area!

We were strolling through the downtown area after lunch and decided to pop in for an afternoon pick-me-up. I got a macchiato, and a bag of roasted beans to gift to someone. Unfortunately, the macchiato wasn't great. The beans seemed over-roasted and bitter. The macchiato at Sparrow in Naperville, IL blows this one away. However, service was friendly and pricing was reasonable. Plus, plenty of seating inside and out. So I'd say 3.5 stars overall.

I have visited quit a few Kahwa locations - almost ready to check them all off the list! Kahwa is a solid choice especially if your veins bleed and scream coffee like mine do! Plus, it's obviously a lot better than Starbucks! I recommend: 1.) Iced Aloha Latte: 5/5 2.) Iced Lavender Vanilla Latte: 4.5/5 3.) Iced Latte + peach simple syrup: 4/5 I got a large Iced Latte with an extra shot of espresso & addition of peach simple syrup (I've grown to like the sprinkle of peach syrup - they are so good at all locations about not saturating their lattes in sugar, so the flavor of the coffee doesn't get masked and is still there!). My favorite is their LAVENDER VANILLA LATTE (4.5/5), which is a solid drink. They combine 1/2 lavender and 1/2 vanilla, but if you prefer all lavender syrup instead, it's also one of my fav combos. The lavender is really powerful, so sometimes when I'm in the mood, I do enjoy the intense floral taste. The only thing I wish they'd get better at is a stronger coffee taste, even though lattes mostly consist of whole milk, I always want the taste of coffee to be at the forefront. I've also had their peach latte. The only thing I don't like is that if you download Kahwa app, load $ and use app to pay, I got charged a total of $2.07 after three separate times or a % of my total bill. Um, def. not a fan of that and no thank you, so I won't be using app in the future. Parking is SPARSE, just a few spots and is mostly a drive through - it used to be a bank and is new repurposed into a coffee shop. I tipped the barista $2 - the drive through started to form a line on an early Sat. afternoon.

So Kahwa just opened here this week. The store front is very unpretentious, but looks aren't everything. The coffee was very good. The business used to be a dry cleaning store & was converted to a coffee shop. There are only 3 parking spots so parking is a premium. They also have a drive through. Inside there was seating for maybe 6 people, so seating is at a premium. When I was done with my coffee I went to throw the cup out, but there were no trash cans, so trash is at a premium, lol. I ordered a macadamia nut latte & the flavor was seriously excellent & enjoyable. I will for sure return. Just keep in mind the facility is "no frills" but the coffee is great.

I came on a Sunday and the place was busy, but I'm sure that's something that they're use to. Everyone there was really nice. That's one thing I'll say for Dunedin, it seems like everyone here is friendly and loves dogs, but I digress. Looking at the menu, I felt like a lot of the items were expensive for what they were. a Croissant sandwich with egg cheese and a protein was $15, not including coffee, and I"m looking at the size of the croissants that by themselves are priced at almost $6 and I'm totally confused because they look like those mini croissants, not even full sized. I asked about their cinnamon rolls and apparently they're made fresh daily. It was good, definitely fresh. I also ordered a 14 oz cappuccino and those two items came out to $13. when she handed me the 14 oz drink I moved it up and down, my brain trying to process if maybe what I actually read was 4 oz and not 14. I handed the drink to my friend and asked her: "Does this feel like 14 ounces to you?" She grabbed it and gave me a funny look, "did they give you the right drink? This feels almost empty." "Exactly." I said back to her. She had ordered a black coffee with light sugar. They told her it was a medium blend but either they skimped on the amount of coffee or added more water than needed because this tasted almost like tea with how light it was. We both left feeling deflated, especially since we had allowed ourselves to get our hopes up. It's a good thing Dunedin has lots of breakfast places, we ended up having a great one at another place for cheaper.
