Our fourth time here was the worst. The hostess stand could not get it together. We are fine waiting, but it was just a really unorganised experience. Then when we did get seated, no one came to greet us or ask for our drink order or anything for over 30 minutes. We finally had to flag down someone to see if there was a server assigned to us. When she finally did approach us, she seemed bothered and didn't even greet us, didn't apologize for the wait, nothing. She really seemed like she hated her job. I got the wedge salad which was really good. Most everyone in our party of five liked their dinners. It was busy that night; however, that is not an excuse for bad service. We want to love this place, we frequent the back patio bar. The new owners book wonderful bands and have really worked hard to renovate and create a fun aesthetic. The food continues to fall short of the mark. We live two blocks away and popped in for a takeout order of Short Rib Bolognese. The noodles were just mushy. Far from al dente this mixture appeared to have been made, mixed and stored previously. There was not enough moisture in the dish either, the serving was painfully dry. The side Cesar salad was big enough for two people. It had this amazing garlic crunch Crumbs that was very different. And extremely yummy. The sizzling shrimp appetizer had the most flavourful sauce I've ever had. I ask server if chef ever worked in fine dining in Charleston. I felt like I was at a white table 5 star with all the flavors. For entree we had diver scallops that were also served with a sauce that was over the top. We had the wings, crab fries and Brussels sprouts along with some cocktails and got out of there right at $100 for an excellent dinner. Such a terrible and poorly run establishment. Made a reservation online for 8 people and showed up 5 minutes early. We were told that the only table that could seat us was taking long, so we had to wait for 10-15 minutes. We were totally understanding and wandered around to waste some time. We came back 20 minutes later without getting a text update about our table. We show up again and everyone seems shocked to see us. Nobody had a clue what was going on and the same hostesses I had spoken to were now checking the walk in list for my name. I reminded them that we had a reservation. They are flustered, continue taking smaller party walk-ins, and proceed to tell us that we have to now wait an additional 15-20 minutes for a table. Ridiculous, especially after successfully making an online reservation and having to put my credit card information down in order to do so. "Bull" being in the title is fitting. The short rib in the sandwich was rather dry. I ate half of it and I couldn't bring myself to finish my sandwich. I switched with my boyfriend, who ordered an Italian Stallion.
