I called this morning and was given a 4:00pm appointment. I arrived promptly at 4, my temperature was taken and I was directed to wash my hands in back. I was then directed to my pedicure station about 3 chairs away from the next person. I love when appointment times are honored, even when there are walk-ins seated waiting to be serviced. COVID PRECAUTIONS: -temperature taken upon check-in -hand washing after check-in -During my 90ish minutes here, I witnessed someone cleaning/disinfecting areas about every 15 minutes, in addition to each station a minutes after use. The classic pedicure is $27 and the gel manicure is $32 which matches the prices quoted on their website. My pedicure was just how I like it: quick but thorough, professional, and pain-free. I received my manicure right after, no wait in between. Momo provided both of my services and was extremely friendly. Would come back. By the way, if you are paying with a card, you cannot add the tip on. So bring cash if you do not have cash app or Venmo. read more

Came here because I'll admit I was enticed by the 20% off total. I have a place I've been going to in Miramar, but it is more expensive and further away. However, I've always been pleased with the service and results. Anyway, I came into today just to get a dip powder manicure. I was a walk in and I saw it was pretty dead inside and it was nearly 11 AM. I know they're still a new establishment, but anyway I was seated rather quickly. I had a fairly nice woman, I can't remember her name, but she made some small talk with me. She started to take off my dip powder in a manner I've never really seen before. Usually, they put acetone on your nails then wrap them in foil to allow for easy removal. She, however, appeared to use a method that took a bit longer. She basically filed my nails with the nail drill thing over and over again, and in conjunction had me dip my entire hand into a bowl of acetone. It took about 25 minutes, but eventually, my old dip powder came off. Then I selected my color and she proceeded to apply them. This is the only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars. While she did the removal and application she was lowkey bashing my previous dip nail design from my old establishment. It was kind of uncomfortable since I actually really liked my old ombre nails. Sadly, she was telling me they weren't proper ombre nails. Even if they "weren't" I was happy with them and I got MANY compliments from them. Then as the conversation went on, I could feel the slight pressure to get more things done at the salon. Which, to be fair, I understand the hustle when you're a new business but I have my own budget to worry about. Them: "No eyebrows today?" Me: Not today. Them: "Want pedicure with nails?" Me: No, not today. Some people might now care, but I'm weird about this type of business tactic. Finally, at the end of my manicure, this part isn't necessarily their fault, more mine. I wasn't thrilled with the color I chose. I like glittery nail polish, but I'm not a fan of ones that have chunky glitter. On the demo nail, it looked much finer but as the finished results it looked a bit too childish and not sophisticated enough for me. It's like...I don't hate it but I'm not in love with the final result for the color. Everything I like: nail shape, nail art on ring finger, etc. Will I come back here? I'm not sure if I'm honest. I paid close to 100.00 for a gel manicure and one of their special pedicures. The place is beautiful, very clean, very instagrammable. The people who work there..charming, polite and accomodating. My main issue is what happened to my natural nails afterwards. Two weeks after I had my gel done, my nails started breaking and curiously starting breaking at the same breakpoints and I caught a dry fungus on my thumb.. Dao was amazing! Got a gel mani, and i have to say that I've been to some bougie salons and haven't had as great customer service as I did here. It was very clean, all the tools were in sanitized bags. I hope they keep up the good customer service, the cleanliness, and the attention to detail when doing the mani. Dao got every crevice of my nails and left them immaculate. It's been a couple of days since my mani and they are still in amazing shape and the the polish still on, hasn't lifted off or chipped. As you depart, you will see operators cleaning the station to ready it for the next guest and know they prepared for you as well. I liked the way my nails were done, but I paid for a pedicure only to not even get most of my feet underneath as clean as a baby's bottom. I work wearing heels every day for work so I always ask for a pedicure each time I get my nails done to ensure they're somewhat pampered every now and then. However the technician did a terrible job on my manicure and only slightly better on my pedicure. My cuticles are so messed up from her hack job that I will spend the next month trying to fix it. I have been on the hunt for a new nail spot, and think I finally found a gem here. This place is tucked in the back of a strip mall, much like everything in Florida. But, walk inside and you feel like you're in a whole other world! It is beyond relaxing! You are greeted upon walking in the door and escorted to your manicure or pedicure chair. Everything matches in a good way and is super clean and put together. They even have coffee, tea, water, etc for you to choose from. I got a dip manicure. The cost of the service was $40 which is about the going rate in the Davie area. I will admit, they don't have a ton of colors to choose from like other spots I have been to, but definitely enough for you to find a color you're looking for. My nails came out great! Super smooth finish and filing was all the same shape and length. This sounds like something that should come with every manicure you get at any place, but it isn't folks! I was looking for a new nail salon as my old salon has been seriously lacking in their customer service. I was looking on yelp and came across Kai's Nail Spa and they had great reviews so I decided to give them a try. I sent a request for an appointment (not thinking they would reply right away) and to my surprise they responded immediately. I made an appointment for that same day. When I arrived I was seated right away and offered a drink (tea, coffee, soda or wine). They brought the color palettes over to me and gave me time to chose my color. Tammy did my pedicure and let me tell you she did an awesome job. She took her time and rubbed all the stress out of my feet. Only thing I would have liked was if they would have began soaking my acrylic nails off during my pedicure in order to save some time, but that wasn't a big deal for me. After my pedicure, Tony began my nails. He was really nice and down to earth. Anyone who knows me knows that I rarely talk when I'm at the nail salon because that is my time to relax and as a social worker, I talk all day long to my clients, but Tony was just really cool and the conversation was just natural. I did the dipping powder and Tony did an awesome job on my nails. The shop itself is so clean, quiet and relaxing. It's Friday, so I knew it would almost impossible to get a last minute appointment anywhere. Came on to Yelp, and decided to call Kai's. The receptionist is the absolute sweetest! She was able to make me an appointment to arrive 15 minutes later, which I am so incredibly thankful for. As a side note, she exemplified customer service, so if the managers are reading this, please know she's incredible! Arrived for my appointment and was immediately greeted, offered a beverage, and seated. I decided to get a basic mani/pedi and Pink was my technician. Pink is also an absolute sweetheart and an incredible nail tech. She's incredibly meticulous and will make sure that you are completely satisfied with your nails. Lastly, and importantly, they are incredibly affordable! Or maybe not, I'm here from Chicago, so maybe it's just compared to Chicago prices IDK. But I felt like this was such a bargain and I'm a very happy customer. CLEANLINESS. I can't believe I almost forgot to mention this. I never write reviews, but the experience I had here was deserving of one! After a change in schedule with my job, I ended up being off this past Saturday, and decided to get my nails done while I had the time. I normally go to a different salon but they were doing a private event so they wouldn't be able to take me. I started looking for places and Kai's nails had great reviews so I emailed them. Firstly I was super impressed because I emailed them at 5:05 on a Saturday, then realized they closed at 6pm. I didn't think I would get in but they told me if I could be there at 5:20 they would do the full set. I got there at 5:20 and was immediately seated and started on. They set me up with Tony, who did an amazing job let me say. I'm extremely picky about my nail shape because I have shorter hands, and if the shape isn't correct they don't look right. Tony asked me what shape and length I would like and that was the last thing I had to say besides my color choice! Without me chiming in once, he got the shape exactly how I like them, and got them done pretty quickly. In all my years of getting my nails done, never have I sat in a chair and not had to say anything about how I like the nails, and have them come out so perfectly. I was offered water or something to drink which is really nice because in most salons you'd have to ask for it. I felt really relaxed, my nail tech Lyly was amazing. She was really good with the massage and gentle. Everyone is super great here. For my pedicure, I experienced a deluxe pedicure. They used the caffe macchiato and it came with different scrubs and salts and it smelt amazing. The prices are great for a high-class salon. You definitely get what you pay for and everything was worth it. Prices for pedicures range from classic $27 to ultimate pedicures from $65. The pedicure chairs are amazing as well. They also used liners for the tubs! They have endless colors to choose from. The prices for regular manicures range from $15/ gel manicure is $26. What I like about this place is that they don't charge for soak off like most salons. They also do dipping powder which is $40. Chien aka "The Nail Dr" as I like to call him SLAYED my nails. I'm VERY picky when it comes to how they turn out. You can tell he's been doing this for awhile and has definitely perfected his craft. My dipped nails weren't chunky and tip of my nails were filed down to perfection. He took his time and I really appreciated that. So happy I found my new nail salon! It's conveniently located on University (same plaza as Ellen's, Field of Flowers, DD). This place is BEAUTIFUL and, most importantly, clean. The staff here are great. Peter greeted me at the front desk and showed me all the new polish colors they just got in. They have a fantastic selection of colors. It took me some time to decide on one, but I never once felt rushed. Everyone was happy to help me pick! I've been here several times since their grand opening and they have more than exceeded my expectations every time. I've tried the classic, deluxe, and jelly pedicures and the gel manicure. The deluxe and jelly pedis smell amazing and the soak and scrub are such a treat! Technicians are nice and skilled, salon is clean and beautifully designed - what more can you ask for?
