My uber favorite nail tech extraordinaire Justin came to this place and I followed him from the previous place. This place is MUCH BETTER than all the other nail places I've been to here in Broward area. The place is clean, modern and super efficient. Everybody's nice and pleasant and the place is never a ghost town. As much as I don't want to share Justin, he's just SIMPLY AMAZING! He is so creative that when I try to show something that I want done on my nails, he is able to figure it out, and always comes out way better than I anticipated. He's super technical, skillful (and he's good with getting rid of problematic ingrown nails, etc)) and always accommodates my craziness. I heart him to bits and pieces! read more

I have been a loyal client at this salon and have always had a great experience with Kelly. However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Last week, my scheduled pedicure appointment with Kelly was switched to another technician without prior notice. Unfortunately, this technician was visibly upset and, when I politely instructed her on how I wanted my pedicure done, she became aggressive and began yelling at me. To my shock, she stopped in the middle of the service and told me to find someone else to finish. Another technician eventually stepped in and completed the pedicure, but by that point, I was already humiliated. I asked to speak with a manager at the time, but my request was ignored. Three days later, I called and spoke with Sophia, who assured me the manager would return my call, but no one ever did. I find it unacceptable that I was treated so unprofessionally and then disregarded when I tried to address the issue. At the very least, I expected an apology and some acknowledgment of the poor treatment I received. Since that did not happen, I will no longer be returning to the salon. I have had repeated issues with appointments at Nail District and Beauty Salon. My mom's appointment was in their system, but mine wasn't -- and this has happened 3-4 different times and each time they blame it on their system. After the last incident, I asked the receptionist to have the owner contact me to address the ongoing problem, but I never received a call or any follow-up. One of the worst Dips I have ever received and that is only because she only cut me on one cuticle. First off they let me walk out with Dip polish stuck all in the skin on my fingers. I have NEVER seen that in my life. Then on the final coat it was like they didn't want to waste too much polish so she barley put any top coat on and now I look like I have holes on my top coat. This place was as bad as other people said in their reviews and I wished I listened but I was desperate and my regular place couldn't take me on short notice. Unless you have been here before and have a person who you know for a fact knows what they are doing and will actually care about what they are doing, RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE. My daughter and I wanted our nails done before New Years. Called two days after Christmas and was able to get an appointment for both me and my daughter to get full sets same day and we were able to pick our appointment time. I was extremely grateful. I do have to say my nails were quite thick and it was hard to explain exactly what I wanted my nails to look like. Terrible customer service. I came in and requested dip removal and normal manicure. After the dip was removed and skin addressed, I decided I wanted dip color instead. I didn't have color at this point. The staff made it seem like I murdered an infant right after I robbed a bank. Rude stares, silence, eye rolling... it's just nails. I did apologize for the change in treatment to both techs. When I went to pay, they charged me for two separate manicures. Apparently dip color alone, no manicure, is $45. I don't buy that. The manager there told me that next time I should know right away so I don't pay extra. Then asked me why I changed my mind. I'm not sure what answer she was exactly looking for. Or if there was a right one to satisfy her. Again- it's just nails. If you weren't able to accommodate the customer change, that's up to you to say "we can't do that today with time unfortunately," and keep it moving. Not throw a whole fit and then condescendigly question the customer at the end. I'm not your child? Then overcharge the customer at that. I ended up telling her that things happen in life and I can afford to change my mind. She didn't have much else to say. I've been to this nail salon before and liked it. But I won't be coming back. We went in for a nail service and was given the nail tech Marie. We decided to take a mental health break to get our nails done. We were told that an acrylic fill would be about $45 dollars and additional for gel. I was very surprised when Marie a nail tech charged $104 dollars for the service that included a soak and French gel nails. There was no explanation for the price, and it was very unprofessional to charge a service that typically charges $70 including designs where we are from. She charged us $55 set, $18 color gel, $8 shape, $10 French, and $10 removal for a child. I'm so confused why we were charged $55 short acrylic set, $18 for color gel on top of a $10 French, and $8 for shape. Additionally, this was very disappointing when Marie was speaking Spanish the entire time, not realizing that her client also knew Spanish. It was unprofessional for her to be speaking Spanish and saying that whoever did the client's nails was ghetto and that she will up charge the service since she was made to squeeze the client in. Due to her having a prior appointment that was scheduled that was coming in, despite her demanding to take the service from another tech that was going to assist the client. This was very cruel to say this, and it was a child that she was servicing. She also filed and drilled the skin off the client's cuticles and sides of her fingers. We still tipped her despite her not being fair with the pricing. We were charged $31 over the price amount according to the website. I would not recommend her service, and it is very impolite to code switch with another language when providing a service. read more

Went here yesterday, finally !! I've been wanting to go since it opened but never brought myself until now. And Omg this place is wonderful. It's super trendy inside, beautifully decorated and it's open , and very clean. I walked in and had my nails done with Sara ; she was the coolest, seriously. Super friendly and great personality , (and she's a game of thrones fan yassss) she did an amazing job with my acrylic full set. She was very detailed yet quick, and she nailed the coffin shape I wanted just right . You can't even really tell it's acrylics!! She filed it all just right. They have a variety of other services too, I had a pedicure with Jackie, she was really sweet and did a great job, it was the best because her and Sara knew I had an event to go too, so she rand me up while I had my pedi so right when I finished I could be out the door, they were super considerate of that! I got a mani/pedi a week and a half ago. I'm from out of town. As I was leaving, the skin around my toe nails few raw and irritated, but I tried to think nothing of it. Apparently, they hacked at my toes so badly that they cut into healthy flesh. I now have an infection that I had to go to urgent care for and was prescribed two types of antibiotics. I normally do not write reviews, but I've never had infections on my toes and am normally never cut during a manicure. I will never return to this salon. When they opened Blush I went there (& still do!) and was lucky enough to come to the pre opening soft opening event at Nail District! This location is so upscale and beautiful! Even though it is way further for me than Blush, I make the trek because they are worth it!! Everyone is wonderful! I usually see Trang at Nail District but sometimes Kim too! Thankfully I went to toi spa Davie since and they salvaged my terribly damaged nails. Went last week to get a dip re done. It was a weekday evening and the girl I got didn't as much as put a towel down while doing them. She was so impatient and lazy that she mechanically filed off my entire dip and thinned my natural nail to nothing. When she came back after being in the back for 20+ minutes she continued to text on her phone through the duration of my service. My dip was completely imbedded into my ceuticals. It was so uncomfortable. Her and the other nail technician on that evening where filthy and in looked like pyjamas. I'm so shocked and saddened for the owners of this establishment. I had the pleasure of meeting the sisters and had them do my nails when they first opened this beautiful place and had a fantastic experience. If there was a manager on, shame on them. They clearly do not care for their business. I will never return. Just to add, I did call to tell the male manager and he did willingly invite me back to resolve it back- but not with much care so I said I would go elsewhere. To the owners if you see this - you put a lot of hard work and I'm sure money into this place. The staff need a major wake up call. read more
