I never write reviews. I feel quite compelled to NOT recommend anyone to live here as a recent…read moretenant who literally just moved out specifically because of Nadia. I HIGHLY recommend you take into consideration the comments on property management (aside from Kelli - she is relatively new and does try to help this goat rope of a company She is extempt from this review). While the "area" may be decent, the apartments are poorly and cheaply put together. Paint splatters everywhere, cheap appliances, no AC, huge gaps underneath the island connecting to the floor, garage storages are disgusting, and that's just a few examples. This isn't even the biggest and most disturbing issue. I say again - It's property management! One person in particular = NADIA! Nadia is only responsive when it benefits her. Otherwise, you will not hear from her. She contacted me three times for my renters insurance despite this already being sent to her via text twive AND then the 3rd time threatened to charge me for not having it on file. What's mind boggling is if what I provided wasn't sufficient documentation there should've been communication. Not one time! She even said thanks when it was provided. I digress. She rides around on her golf cart to walk her dog, leaves work early to pick up her daughter & doesn't return (I can't even begin to tell you how many times I tried to catch her in the office - never there!), and doesn't even communicate to her co-workers about the issues on this property. Kelli had no idea I was moving out. Nadia knew the day I moved out, when I followed back up and randomly stopped by because of the lack of response, and NOW I've asked about my Security Deposit twice with absolutely no response. Choose wisely my friends. I hope this comment helps. Take care!

UPDATE: 7/23/25- Again, UNPROFESSIONAL in her response,…read morespecifically by identifying one's place of employment which she came into knowledge of through her job, which should be kept confidential. AVOID like the plague if you want your personally identifying information protected. I will be placing identity fraud alerts on our information because who knows what lengths she will go to hurt me and my family. Original review: If I can provide less stars, I truly would. Our family of 4 resided here from May 2024 through June 2025. We did the 13 month lease with $1000 off for the life of the lease (it was a promotion that was going on at the time). Nadia Padilla is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. From the start, we should've known, however due to circumstances out of our control, we dealt with the hands we were given. First, when we applied, she had a trainee, Kelly-- super sweet and kind, and Nadia GASPED audibly when she saw mine and my husband's paystubs as part of the application. And she asked us if it was ok to show Kelly-- stating she will be showing Kelly later anyways to process the application. Second, she took FOREVER to communicate material and necessary information about our application, deposit and move in date. She didn't get us a copy of the lease till we were moving in. Third, our laundry machine was out for over 2 months and I had to threaten legal action to get the washing machine fixed. She had us walk down our laundry two buildings down and use their washing machine, unload it and use our dryer in our unit. Mind you, in both locations, the washer and dryer are upstairs. To add insult to injury, she knew I had a newborn and a toddler -- so laundry was basically a daily thing I had to do. I got in contact with the service they contract with and I found out that she did not call them timely, and when the service person came to look at the washer, he then had to wait for Nadia to approve the parts for purchase. She did NOT return their call in a timely manner which caused delay. Again, UNPROFESSIONAL. This is a listed amenity. They cannot advertise it as part of the unit and deliberately delay the maintenance of it. Fourth, we noticed that our rent was not matching up to the numbers we were seeing. In the middle of our lease it appears they switched programs or providers of the rent management. We were previously able to pay rent ahead of the due date, but for some reason the rent was increasing despite meeting the balance. We finally inquired why there was such an increase and again, she was unprofessional and said every penny was accounted for in their ledger. Kelly, finally told us it appears there is a CREDIT of a few hundred dollars and advised us not to pay ahead and wait for the bill to actually show up to pay. It worked. Fifth, the garages are shared. Our particular unit, 2665 unit A, has two tandem parking spots that share with unit B- who also park in tandem. Unit B moved out in Nov during Thanksgiving. Because of toddler and baby, when we noticed they were no longer there, so at times we would park the car in the middle but we mostly parked within our lanes. Come December we were notified that cars will be parked next to us-- we don't know who. So for a MONTH two cars were parked next to us and it appeared as if it was to prevent us from parking more comfortably. We expressed concern about who the owners of the cars were because Nadia specifically said only people who live in our building will have access to the garage. It wasn't our neighbors' car for sure. Lastly, we cleaned this place from top to bottom for DAYS. Yet we were charged $500 for cleaning fee. For those of you who have the time to do a small claims, I would encourage you to. I say this because when our neighbors moved out, NO ONE CLEANED THAT PLACE WITHIN 21 DAYS OF THEIR MOVE OUT. In fact, that unit was not rented out until April-- and literally a week prior is when that unit had ANY cleaners and painters come. I know many will think this may be a one off, but I promise you it's not. I have been a renter for more than half my life at this point and I have never met a leasing manager this unprofessional. I hope you never have to deal with her.

Upon our initial application, we were notified that we needed to verify his ID, which we are unable to do, given the fact that we are in another state. I had asked if we could do the verification through a zoom call and was denied the request. We were told that since we were unable to do so and that our move in date was too far out, that we would need to reapply for a unit a little closer to the date, to which then the application was denied. Cool. To my luck, a unit opened up closer to our move in date a few days later. I applied again, only this time, knowing we wouldn't be able to verify my partner's ID in person, I decided I would apply for the unit by myself and add him onto the lease when we arrived. My report stated that it would take up to 10 days for approval. Given that this is a very time sensitive matter and we are slated to move in a week, I have called every single day from the time of the application, consistently leaving voicemails to get someone on a phone to speak with me, up to the 10th day for an update. Crickets. I've even gone as far as to send an email inquiring about other additional questions I had. Still nothing. I then receive an email on the 10th day from their Supervisor stating that just because I did not put my partners name in the 2nd application, it did not change their decision about the first one. I have been diligent in trying to reach out all throughout the 10 day application period and have not gotten a single phone call or email back. You would think that they'd be more helpful in finding solutions to accommodate a couple moving from a totally different state instead. In addition to this, I had reached out to ask for clarity about why I was getting denied for my second application and was unable to get an answer. Your lack of hospitality and customer service is distasteful. I would not recommend this place to anyone

They are newer apartments (built in 2018) and the grounds are kept up so well they still look new. The 2 bd 2 ba unit we had was a cozy type of modern, with the most atypical perfect layout. Ample storage, yet I loved that I can stand in the middle of either the kitchen or walk in closet and reach anything within half a step lol. Plus a washer/dryer tucked away in the patio is brilliant! Parking was a bit of an issue due to my having several motorcycles, but Lumi (owner) thoughtfully switched my spaces and worked out great. There's a maintenance crew on site and any issues (minor) were resolved never later than the next morning in my experience. They work quickly and efficiently, and they're quite nice. The amenities are AWESOME... A beautiful large pool area with cabanas and jacuzzi, full gym(s) which are clean and not packed with bodies, relaxing clubhouse and sitting areas, rooftop BBQ area with an awesome view and a secure package room. I never had any problems with stolen packages or mail. Neighbors are pretty considerate and friends are easily made here, especially during the annual Christmas party which is so intimate, cute and casual. They have snacks, crafts, and games where you can win prizes! The neighborhood itself isn't so bad. Any security breaches we had were addressed and since hadn't had any issues. There's alot of great restaurants nearby and coffee is literally in your front yard! Lumi is a pleasure to work with and will extend herself as much as possible to make sure her tenants are happy. She truly thrives off looking for ways to improve, and is an intelligent woman of grace and good business practice. Pretty much the landlord you want to have! I also think the rent is about right, given the going rate. In my honest opinion get what you pay for in this instance. Seacrest for the win!

Prior to following my wife and moving out of LA, I had lived at Seacrest for nearly 2 years…read more Overall would give 4.5 stars (no apartment is perfect in my experience) but probably the best apartment I've lived at given location and pricing. First a little bit of context. I grew up in/near Palos Verdes and had hopped between cities and states before finally coming back to the South Bay. During out apartment hunting, we really only wanted 2 amenities: a personal washer/dryer and A/C. You'll quickly learn that's a tall order in the South Bay (especially the A/C, since Torrance is near the beach) but Seacrest actually had both. It was the height of the COVID pandemic at that time and apartment prices were dirt cheap, so we locked in our 2 bed 2 bath (floor plan C I think?). In general, Seacrest consists of two apartment complexes. Floors 1-2 contain covered parking while floors 3-6 are the actual apartments. Each apartment complex has 2 elevators and the community is gated. Let's start with the negatives (there aren't a lot). Even though you're in Torrance, the apartment shoulders against a few warehouses located in the back. Depending on where your apartment is located, you can hear workers and forklifts buzzing back and forth during the day. At night, you'll periodically hear this loud bang which to this day I still don't know was due to local industrial machinery or gunfire from "straight outta" Carson. Seacrest isn't located in a sketch area, but just know you are near the border of Torrance. Also, when we first moved in there was a lot of package stealing going on, although we never experienced this personally. I think this has gotten better over time. Finally, parking in the parking garage is unfortunately tandem, not separate. With that aside, the apartments are great. A lot of the tenants are working professionals or young families with toddlers trying to grow their roots in Torrance. We never had those annoying neighbors that liked to crank their bass at night...instead it was more like cranky babies who couldn't go back to sleep. Even though there are 2 apartment complexes, they have their own amenities. Each has a separate pool, jacuzzi, gym, balcony/grill, basketball court, and clubhouse, so you don't need to walk far. The gym itself is pretty decent and even contains a stretch/yoga room with hardwood floors and mirrors. Lumi is a responsive manager and answered all of our questions and concerns that popped up during our time living there. Was super happy too about getting pretty much all of our security deposit back after talking with her during our move out. And last but not least, living in Seacrest means you're living in Torrance! Torrance is a happy compromise between not living in isolated, overpriced PV but also not living in somewhat sketchy Carson (sorry Carson, I do love my Filipino food though). Seacrest is on a major street called Sepulveda, meaning you're 5 minutes from the 110 freeway or 15 minutes from Redondo Beach, the pier, and the strand (basically a long bike path on the shoreline that connects Redondo Beach all the way up to Santa Monica). You're nearby the Del Amo mall, which was recently remodeled and used to be the largest mall in America until the 1970s. You're a short drive to Long Beach, home to the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, and the Long Beach Grand Prix. DTLA is 30 minutes away (albeit on a good day with absolutely no traffic), but the parks and beaches in PV are great if you want to escape the city. I also can't ignore the food scene. This is Yelp after all. Some of my favorites include: - Jus' Poke: Hawaiian poke place in Redondo - Coco Ichibanya: Japanese curry chain located in Torrance (RIP Curry House) - Handel's Ice Cream: best ice cream in the South Bay - Back Home in Lahaina: Hawaiian food in Carson - Nick's on 2nd: American food in Long Beach, but they have one in Manhattan Beach as well - Mitsuwa Market: Japanese market in Torrance with an awesome food court inside (Tokyo Central market in Gardena is also great) - Silog: local Filipino joint about a 5 minute walk from Seacrest So with the exception of some noise issues, Seacrest is overall a great choice if you're looking to getting settled in the South Bay. Just make sure to do your shopping with rent prices beforehand, as my experience was different during the pandemic.

Moved in when Ellen was managing and her daughter was the assisitant manager. Ellen was a really nasty landlord and person in general, as said in previous reviews. Her daughter was always in a pissy mood. Complaining about everything. Once Ellen passed away her daughter and her husband Andy took over as apartment managers. He wasnt much better than her. Total bullies. They also had no cameras which previous tenants had issues with because of consistent car break ins and thefts. It wasnt until a transient smashed the front glass doors of the complex (which they had replaced with brick) and the tenants windows next to the front office that they got cameras. Horrible parking in the front. Felt like living in a prison. The only plus is the pool (which hardly anyone uses because management comes outside to snoop) and the bbq and the grounds look nice. The location is great considering its across from the plazas (good luck getting out and in of the complex during rush hour). Besides all the other negative things that were somewhat tolerable, the HUGE cockroaches that INFEST the ENTIRE complex are DISGUSTING. ESPECIALLY considering we were paying almost $1,300 for a studio AND I could guarantee that if we would have complained to management they would have gotten pissed and blamed us. HORRIBLE. Renter beware!
