Take the drive to Hawaii Kai with Costco, Ross Dress for Less, Koa Pancake House, Māla Market, City Mill and so much more it's certainly a place that many do flock over for those biz that's just a fraction to mention and many other services as well. Parking is not the biggest though somehow I do manage to find one with patience as this Town Center is divided into a couple sections which you're able to travel between them easily. What's the biggest draw for me personally is the water view in the back where there are some shaded tables though never enough as it's usually occupied by many for obvious reasons it's so easy to sip your drink or enjoy your lunch and get lost in the marina view which we're so lucky to have. City Mill side had a dozen cars with placards atop the roof with protestations against the CCP( Chinese Communist Party). Overheard a City Mill employee say, "I'm glad they are going ( majority were leaving at the same time) they're taking up our parking." Tell 'em Auntie. Saving grace: Great Clips was mostly empty and I did not have to wait for a haircut.

Our hotel was situated on Lewers Street and I greatly enjoyed being on such a bustling street with good eats, high-end shopping, and lots of art & culture. They even have a free art gallery, frequent pop-ups of booths that sells local goods, and other fun and free entertainment. What really stood out to me was how easy it is to just wander here. No strict plan needed. One minute you're browsing locally made jewelry or handcrafted souvenirs, and the next you're drawn in by live music drifting through the open-air walkways. It feels lively without being overwhelming, like the perfect balance of energy and ease that Waikiki does so well. It also has that effortless day-to-night transition. During the day, it's bright, breezy, and great for a casual stroll or a quick bite between beach time. By evening, the whole area softens into something a little more magical: Music, people lingering longer, and the gentle breeze giving your nighttime stroll that movie magic. It's the kind of place where you say, "just one quick walk," and somehow end up staying for hours.

Each Monday we try to go to his stand (or I send a family member to grab some bread for the room). You can email him before hand to see if the type of bread you like will be available, but you can't go wrong with anything he makes. The prices are very reasonable. I wish he would sell butter lol we really love butter on top of his banana bread lol if he started selling whipped butter, it would just be the only way to make this stand even better. This is one of my favorite places to just window shop. They have really fun, coastal and local vibe home decor and lifestyle finds. I've eaten at Kono's although I am not primarily a pork person so I would not personally go back here. Some places to visit would be the Aloha General Store where you'll find Island-inspired gifts, clothing, home décor, shave ice, and souvenirs. Aloha Vintage Vibes is where you will find vintage Hawaiian apparel, retro finds, and unique gifts. Northshore Boardriders Club is where I found a really cute bracelet here that allows you to track your own sea life! You'll also find surf apparel, boards, accessories, and local North Shore merchandise. Polynesian Treasures is neat. You get to browse through Hawaiian-made gifts, wood carvings, jewelry, and island crafts. I Am Paradise is a Pearl Shop. You will find Hawaiian pearl jewelry and handcrafted pieces. I have not yet entered this establishment yet. I think I'm intimidated by the possible price point of real Hawaiian pearls. Silver Moon Emporium is where you can shop for Women's fashion, accessories, and boutique clothing. I wish there were more plus size options. Tini Manini, I haven't been to this one yet but you'll be able to find Children's clothing, toys, and gifts here. Waimea Blue North Shore Art Gallery is where you can shop for original local artwork, photography, and prints. There are also several dining options which include: Banzai Sushi Bar, Cholo's Homestyle Mexican, Kono's, Maya's Tapas & Wine, IL Gelato Cafe (Love this place!), and The Fixx Haleiwa. I have yet to try them all but even more reason to come back to take a trip over to the North Shore.

Besides Windward Mall, Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center, and Windward City Shopping Center, customers in Kaneohe can shop and dine at Kaneohe Shopping Center. Currently, the main business here is Times Supermarket. The restaurants are Sikdorak II, Club Komomai, Tea Home, and Kizuna Sushi Bar and Grill. There's also a laundromat, Goodwill Donation Center, H&R Block, Eagle Nails, and Goodyear Auto Service. There's one entrance on Kamehameha Highway and two on Paleka Road. It's probably safer to enter and leave from Paleka Road because Kamehameha Highway can be very busy at times. Kaneohe Shopping Center has four main buildings and has an L-shaped configuration since the Kaneohe Fire Department is on the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Paleka Road. Come support local businesses if you're on the Windward side of the island!

With that Manoa Marketplace is a place that you can pretty much do it all with Safeway for groceries, CPB for banking, various foodies spots, Bakeries, Manapua and even a USPS and so much more yes all that and free parking galore. They also have a Farmers Market every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7am-2pm along with various services available here you're able to get so much done in one location is what really makes it great. This seemed like a more local, authentic experience. The food shops in the building here made it feel like I was traveling overseas, from the smaller seating area and the fish market. There is a variety of foods, mostly Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, and poke representing. Towards the back there is a fish market, where the fish are so fresh and I guess you could say the displays were beautiful. Outside of the main food court area are some vendors. I didn't get to check out many of them, but they did remind me that of other Chinatown shops in other cities. I loved that this felt so familiar, yet was a new experience!
