This house comes with 5 bed rooms, one of them has 2 full beds, all others have king beds. We so enjoyed being on this side of the island, we usually stay in Ko'Olina. So our wedding was a 5/5 experience but management is definitely old school and could use a lot of work. There is no texting, only a landline, and an email to work with. Good luck reaching anyone via email. To have a 6 hour wedding with 50 people, it costs roughly 10k for the space (about average when you factor in lighting, furniture and seating at other venues) but you have to pay for you own prep time. Only an hour is complimentary, so if you want to add any personal touches at all you basically need to pay for that time. Considering you're paying 10k, the fact that one is not allowed to leave decor at the venue is super unreasonable. There was no event going on the day prior except for our own rehearsal. So we were to bring everything we could on our own day of, and beg our wedding planner to help. They claimed it was for "liability purpose" yet I was allowed to leave my dress grossing 2800 at the venue and not my $10 box of flowers... and the lightning that was already hanging cost $750 to allegedly rehang. Who knows why that needed $750. There were claims that there was not enough space to leave any belongings or purchase enough chairs for my guests, but from what I can see it's just badly organized. There's a massive stack of CDs in front of the bridal room coated with so much dust you can barely read the titles. There's all kinds of knick knacks everywhere by the piano. The dust in the bridal room is bore line scary when you look closely, the chandelier had dead flowers and cobwebs. The frames are coated with dust. Again, the wedding itself was beautiful but for 10k you'd think someone could be paid $200 to come in there to clean. I sincerely have no idea what my 10k went towards since the Morgage on the house is non existent according to Zillow. Emails were rarely answered in a timely manner, which is tough if you're a bride organizing almost everything. and their sweet sweet dog who was advertised as a ring bearer apparently only performed this service one time prior and got side tracked and pulled my flower girl into the bushes. I love that kind of silliness and don't blame the dog one bit. But it certainly feels like false advertising to say that this dog is willing to do the service but come day of my planner told me of all the weddings she'd aided there, she's never seen it happen once. We had a great wedding, but it's massively overpriced for how little effort is going in on the home owner's end. A beautiful scam. 3 stars for my guest's wonderful experience but not to my own chaotic one.

Melissa, her husband, and their dog Chief are so warm and welcoming. The panoramic oceanfront views are stunning. The workspace is spacious enough to comfortably host large groups. We had 45 attendees. There are also smaller office spaces available for breakout sessions or more intimate meetings. The kitchen setup, complete with a full-sized fridge, was incredibly convenient for our needs. Melissa is a master of her craft. With her event planning background, she brings professionalism, intuition, and exceptional service to everything she does. She was so accommodating throughout our event. We cannot wait to return next year.

From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk. Look for the pineapple sign on the left side of King Street. There are about 10 parking stalls underneath the patio and street parking on King Street. This place is used for small start up businesses such as clothing and jewelry. It's a good place to have pop up events on the open patio or in their room. Another thing that I'm thinking about is possibly holding a bridal shower here in the future. Looks like a perfect venue to rent out and cater food at. (Not necessary to get catering, but definitely an option) They also rent out their furniture and plants that they have showcased around the patio. Super cute place and hope to be back soon!

As a child, I remember admiring and wondering who lived in this estate that borders Kapiolani Park…read more It was once known as the Winstead House that was built around the early-1900's. The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. We opted for the pergola room (teenagers bday party) which accommodates 24. Super cute setup, very spacious, private bathroom (it was kinda hidden!). We were allowed to being in our own food & drinks, & they were kind enough to allow me to have personal decorations put up before my daughter arrived. I can't tell you firsthand how the karaoke system setup is (the teenagers made the decisions for the night) but I do know the songs were submitted via their phones. There a QR code to scan, etc. Either way, there weren't any mixups with the songs, pretty smooth. They do have a one/ time charge of $3 per person, if I remember correctly that's like a clean up fee. They also offer some small snacks. Various rooms to accommodate all size parties! They're located in Westgate shopping center, upper floor (Thelma's Filipino food & Leeward drive in are downstairs). Parking lot is decent sized but can definitely fill up with the number of other establishments here.
