Our wedding at Male'ana Gardens was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we…read morewere in paradise. The getting-ready space was peaceful and beautiful, setting the perfect tone for the day, and every part of the venue--from the ceremony site to the dinner setup and beyond--was breathtaking. Kellie, Cheri, and all the vendors were warm, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. Their kindness and attention to detail really helped us relax and enjoy every moment. If you're looking for a venue that's stunning and feels like home, Male'ana Gardens is it. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate!

Like many 2020 couples, original weddings plans have gone out the window. With no changes in the…read moretier system and so much limitations, we decided to just go for it. My husband and I decided to look at small venues and saw Maleana Gardens. Usually they do small weddings up to 20 people. I was a little hesitant at first because on their IG it looked a little too good to be true and I didn't hear much about it. After speaking with Cheri, the owner, she invited us to go down to their property and take a look for ourselves before booking. We totally winged it and went. The property is full of luscious tropical plants, amazing photo ops, and overall absolutely beautiful! It felt like we were on another island. Cheri shared she and her husband,Scott planted all of the plants and maintained the grounds for many years. So cool! Going through the process of planning (yes even for an intimate ceremony) can be stressful. Through out the process, Cheri was easy to get a hold of and so helpful during this crazy time. Our wedding ceremony was able to go as planned and we didn't have to worry about anything. Cheri worked with our vendors and was even able to do a last minute set up for cake cutting. Thank you to Cheri for everything! We are truly grateful that we were able to have our Covid wedding ceremony!

I saw many mixed reviews but I personally enjoyed my time on this course!!! The views, sounds,…read moreeverything was phenomenal. It was peaceful and the pace was a bit slow but everyone was courteous of others. My husband (the actual golfer in this relationship) said he thought it was only alright for the price you pay. He said it's beautiful scenery but they don't do a good enough job sainting the greens. I will say, it also poured down that day. If it wasn't for us arriving after the storm passed, they would've rescheduled us. We paid: $200 per golfer $80 to be a rider $80 rental $30 ball rental $100 Royal Hawaiian golf shirt $60 per golf hat They had a two person per golf cart policy. So if you're a single rider and it's a busy day you might be paired up. The golf cart was nice because it told you how far your in yardage your ball was, it had Bluetooth to play music from your phone, and a GPS. The course is huge so these were all great functions that added to the experience. ALSO, There was tons of wildlife throughout the course that we took pictures of!!!! If you loose your balls you're cooked, it's literally like golfing in the jungle. Overall, we'll check out another golf club whenever we go back. We had fun, but it was good for a one time visit.

Royal Hawaiian Golf Course is one of the most beautiful courses on the Windward side, but don't let…read morethe scenery fool you... this course is no joke. The fairways are narrow, there are drop-offs everywhere, and accuracy is absolutely critical. Bring your A-game because if you're slightly off the tee, you'll be searching for golf balls all day. I would strongly recommend bringing extra balls because this course can be unforgiving. What makes the challenge worthwhile is the breathtaking scenery. The course is surrounded by lush mountains and tropical landscape that make every hole feel amazing. If you're looking for a challenging round of golf in one of the most scenic settings in Hawaii, Royal Hawaiian should definitely be on your list. I'll be back soon.

Inside, it looks like an ordinary golf course restaurant. Comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of Kailua and the Lanikai Pill Box hiking trail. They actually have a good looking menu with a little bit of everything, from appetizers to desserts, and everything in between. Our table had a bunch of appetizers, fried chicken wings, shrimp tempura and coconut shrimp, cold tofu, soy beans, and kalbi. Or entrees varied from, what I could see, Kobe beef sliders, fish tacos, Reuben or corned beef sandwiches, I had the Shrimp Bahn Mi Bao, which came with 3 sweet, Chinese style buns, filled with a fried shrimp, topped with pickled carrot and daikon, and a little Chinese parsley, and a handful of fries. This was really refreshing and tasty! Dessert, there was a variety of watermelon sorbet, bread pudding, and I had a afrogotto, I'm probably spelled it wrong, but it's vanilla ice cream topped with espresso, very good!
