We have gone here two times. The first time we got the pork, the second time the spam. Both times the portions were very small. I've been to the islands several times and in any legit poly food place the serving sizes are HUGE. I've been to places in California even where the portions are big. I feel like this place is a rip off. The pork was good but they don't give much sauce with it unless you want to pay extra. The Mac salad and rice lacked in flavor. Also the spam made me feel very ill afterwards (which is weird because I love spam) and so we haven't returned since. read more

Ordered the grilled teriyaki chicken with white rice and the macaroni. I knew the restaurant was just opened and cooks may be just getting things down, but the teriyaki chicken lacked the actual teriyaki flavoring. There was a slight hint of it, but I really just wanted some more. Asked for more sauce--had to pay for it--and the chicken was mediocre at best. A bigger portion size for the price would have been nice, too. However, the macaroni was great, and the rice was moist and free of dryness. As for how quickly I got my food, that was a different story. Food was ordered and ready in less than 5 minutes. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. It's fast food, and not a sit-down that Rexburg needs. It's good if you want something new, but as for a place to go back many times, I wouldn't think so. I'd give the food: 2.5 stars. The customer service was really good... but the food.. let me start off by saying My family is from Hawaii. & that Mac salad wasn't Hawaiian Mac Salad. Also the portion size suck. If you've ever had real Hawaiian food then you'll be disappointed here. You're better off going to Da Pineapple Grill where they serve good quality Hawaiian food in the same time this place takes to give you your meal, even when it's not busy. I went with my wife and in-laws, who all have been to Hawaii, and the meat was the only good thing to be had. The sides, drinks, and wait time were all subpar. read more

My wife and I are by no means from the islands, but we have had a Hawaiian food from a couple different places in Utah, and this place was a disappointment. If you have ever had Mo Bettah's in Utah, be prepared for a letdown. The mac salad was tasteless, runny, and the noodles were very mushy. The rice didn't seem like regular Hawaiian sticky rice that we have had. The meats looked both unappetizing and the quality was not as great as we've had at other places, especially the Katsu chicken. Flavors all seemed off. I would not eat here again because of the experience of the food. The portions also seemed smaller for the same price as other Hawaiian joints. This place is above average for Rexburg. Price is good and you can probably feed a (small) family of 5 for under $25. I love their "Wipe Out" deal cause it comes with all their meats and a drink. Average cost per meal is $7 but the wipe out cost $14. The portions are good and you could probably get more for your buck than at McDonalds for $25. read more

This was our first time eating here and it was pretty good. My husband and I got the kalua pork and chicken katsu with brown rice and the macaroni salad. The meats and brown rice were really good, but the macaroni salad was not our favorite. It tasted a little off to us. The spicy sauce for the kalua pork was good. My wife and I come here all the time. Most people come in here thinking they will get some fresh off the boat pig that a local Hawaiian has been cooking all day. If that's your expectation you will be let down. This is rexburg Idaho guys come on.. that being said we like the food here , the wipeout is 5 meats and 2 scoops and a side that's what we usually get , I like the chicken katsu and their misoy chicken , their rice is good as well. Not the worst Hawaiian food I've had but I don't think I'll be going back. We got the bulgogi beef, katsu chicken with rice and Mac salad and a spam musubi. it didn't meet my expectations. Let me start and say that the owner and staff at the Grill are superb! They mistakenly got my wife's order wrong and the owner was so kind to fix it for us. This place sucks!!!! Every time I go the food is cheaper and crappier! The first time there was sauce that came with the chicken, the next time I go they charge me extra for sauce, the third time I came they claimed there was never any sauce on or for the chicken and I get a plain grilled piece of chicken.... if I wanted bland crappy food I'd make it in the microwave! What a joke, take care of your freaking customers and stop cutting corners to save pennies! This place is a rip off, it's like some pea-wit wanted to start a business and then realized that it would actually take money to do that. This place is such a joke! I drive through Rexburg Idaho frequently. I was looking for a new place to eat. Stumbled upon this one. Hoping for something a little different. Ordered the fish tacos, jut breaded fried fish in a tortilla with shredded cabbage. And then sauce is so familiar, oh yeah ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together. I think my mother called it thousand Island. Oh now I get it it's Hawaiian thousand Island. Came with a side of macaroni salad? Just like the kind my aunt would bring to a family potluck in the early 60s.And a scoop of white rice how creative no sauce no salt no nothing. Have these folks even been to Hawaii? Great quality of food! Good priced! Good sized portions! Me and my family went there about 5 of us we all really loved the food that we ordered! It was mind blowing fast service they had our food out really fast! They are very nice and very friendly. When I asked what something was they were very knowledgeable about the products. Seem very well trained they also seemed to be happy about being at work. Overall the building could use a tiny bit more Hawaiian decode like maybe some hibiscus flowers on the walls and hawiann sayings and maybe like Kowabunga and surfs up and mahalo. And grass skirt on the bottom part of the wall. And some bigger color christmas type lights make it a bit more Hawaiian and festive! I wanna feel like I'm in Hawaii. Other wise it had a great atmosphere and was pretty clean! So good job overall. read more
