All the toppings you'd want for pho. It was a surprise to find. I'd like a lil more cilantro on mine if I ordered again

My last review was 2 years ago, so here an update after some changes they made & some new things I've tried a couple of times since. 1) the meat they serve is from our local farmer- Folsom Farm. Huge improvement knowing the quality of the meat is good! 2) their orange chicken, pho, and rice bowls are good! Just wish they'd add more veggies / protein to the rice bowls to balance it out a bit more. We always have a lot of leftover rice & we finish the rest. Mind you, we know the small portion of veggies & protein in the bowls so we eat a big chunk of rice in each bite.. still have a lot of leftover rice! For what you pay, and for how inexpensive rice is to buy.. that change would make a difference & make it worth the pay. 3) service is pretty decent most of the time. But recently some young chick who's been working there has "forgotten" to put in our order and have waited an hour twice. People who came in after us to order got their food before us. Husband had to go check on what was going on - she simply forgot it. read more

Saw the other reviews and excited to eat at this Vietnamese restaurant. To my surprise it's just a food truck. There was only one lady in the truck. I ordered beef pho and have to wait a long time. The pho itself was okay, the soup was oily to my taste, beef amount was generous but a little too thick for pho and I didn't finish. Come here for Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Probably won't come back again. read more

First time I found this place, it was a food truck. Then they went to a dine in restaurant. Now, they're back as a food truck. Food quality is still the same, so this is the rare place in Eastern Idaho where Asian food is not adjusted for local taste. Highly recommended, as before. The truck is parked in a large parking lot next to Wolfe Lighting, along with 4 - 5 other food trucks. There are six large plastic tables and benches for eating. Don't even think. Just drive. Ya'll. This place is SO FREAKING GOOD. Like I don't want to share it with you because I'm scared they'll run out of food for me kind of good. But, alas, a place like Kingdom of Pho be known. The beef pho was good - the flavor was definitely there and the broth was the perfect temperature. It's a great comfort food for a cold night in Rexburg. And the salmon bowl. Oh my heavens, the salmon bowl. Was it a little pricey? Sure. But the serving size was big enough for my boyfriend who often eats more than two normal people. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce should be illegal. I probably sound like I'm over exaggerating but I have a very high standard for food and Kingdom of Pho killed it with this salmon bowl. What made the experience even better was the owner, Wayne. What a cool dude. It was our first time here so he kept checking in & making sure we enjoyed our food. We live in Idaho Falls and I am fully committed to making the drive to Rexburg when I need a salmon bowl (or pho) fix. Highly recommend. read more

This was our second time trying Kingdom of Pho. We're excited that they've moved to Main Street and have indoor seating!!! The flavors of the pho were much better this time than our previous experience. The broth is light and refreshing, and they give you a generous amount of fixins for your bowl. While this isn't the best pho I've ever had, it's an awesome contribution to Rexburg! It's worth the stop! read more

Wayne is one of the best restauranteurs and chefs in town and around! He has always greeted us with a smile. Unlike many other spots in town that are ether rushed or not friendly. And I appreciate that. His food shed (already one of our favorite spots in town to eat), and now restaurant, well my wife put it best, (it has just elevated my love for this place). The ambiance is amazing. Peaceful, simple, elegant. This place has what many pho restraints are missing, the beauty warm fuzzy fragrance of Pho wafting around! The food is a good portion size for the money. We can recommend pretty much everything on the menu. We tried the newer addition as of the time of this review the beef bulgogi. It comes with a scoop of rice and homemade kimchi! The bulgogi was velvety, creamy, and savory in taste, having been marinated for a good amount of time. The phó was warm and heartwarming! This establishment really is a Kingdom of Phó! The Ban mí is delicious with the best sourced bread or so I've been told. The boá like little pillowy clouds with tender and savory meat are a treat as well. Highly recommend giving everything here a try! read more

It's good! You'd have to be goofy to complain about the broth. Maybe a little heavy on the anise, but it's up so you to add lime and herbs and sauces to your own taste. Customizing pho is part of the fun. The banh mì was the superstar for me and I like the almost comical scooby-doo length of the large. Great flavor profile. I think it'd be nice to get one of those "seat yourself/wait for host" signs or a little bell on the front door since there isn't a podium at the front read more

Okay it's time that I finally tell the whole city of rexburg the truth about this kingdom. I really hope that this review finds the reader well and it encourages everyone to come and try this one of a kind restaurant in our town. So I've have tried the food when they first opened and recently (yesterday). Let me tell you something, I've eaten in a lot of places east coast and west coast of the country. It is truly a rare quality for a chef and owner to adapt so quick to the needs of the locals and make impressive adjustments to the food. This place got my wife hooked on the food, literally . While I was away on a business trip, my wife had this place everyday, not because she didn't feel like cooking but mostly because we have a 8 month who keeps her busy and so it's hard for her to cook at times. So she decided to come here and since then she's has been a regular customer. Take in mind the menu is still developing and growing as we speak. I would highly recommend everyone to come and try it out for yourself. (Be honest) the chef ‍ himself will do everything to make sure your eating ( high quality) Vietnamese food. He is a very reasonable and respectful person so please be helpful and let him know (there and then), because his mission is to make sure you go away with a piece of his heart embedded with the food .... That itself is a beautiful part that I taste in the food. Im so happy we have a great chef, I hope to see more exciting new meals and more traditional plates to come. Went in for a late dinner and first off, the place smells amazing and I knew the food was going to be good. We were acknowledged and seated immediately. We had a tofu rice bowl and the beef pho. Both were delicious and very filling. (The portions are extremely generous!) The service was perfect as well. If we lived here, we would be regulars. read more

The rice bowl was amazing as always and with the perfect amount of sauce that it didn't feel like I was eating a soup. My wife ordered the beef Pho with the beef fairly well done and the meat was still very undercooked and chewy. When we asked if there was a way to fix it , our server simply took the plate and must've microwaved it for 30 seconds because he brought it back fairly quick and nothing about the meat had changed. Our server was also very attentive about his girlfriend & at one point yelled at her to leave. For how calm the environment is, that made it very awkward. read more

This review is LONG overdue. My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to try pho for the first time from this exquisite restaurant when it was located in the food court at Wolfe Lighting. The owner is so charismatic and always looking for ways to improve and help others succeed. The food is amazing, although I've never been to Vietnam, when I tasted pho for the first time here it took me on a trip to the beautiful Asain Country. The portion sizes are great, lots of food. The steamed pork bao buns are a definite must try for all newcomers. You won't be disappointed. 100/10 love this place. read more

The flavor of everything there is fantastic. Not only can you taste the robust flavor of the spices but you can smell the flavors. Tons of veggies and noodles. Great place. For someone who loves little hole in the wall resturants this is great find, though I guess this is a shed. Great service and great food. Love to see how they pay attention to their reviews. My wife reviewed and all of a sudden the next time we show up there they are implementing a great idea and review suggestion. It's ok. For Rexburg it's good. Compared to what I'm use to, it's ok. I ordered the noodle bowl($13) and the noodles are super sticky. Didn't like it. My wife ordered the beef pho. Broth is decent, but portions are kinda small for a $15 bowl. They are new (brick and motor) and still figuring out how to serve customers. Hopefully with time, they will improve on service and food options. Kinda disappointed they don't have Asian meatballs with their pho. That's like having a boba drink without boba. read more
