She took her time assessing which arm to use and did it in one shot. Lemme give y'all some tips. Check in on your phone or on their kiosk 10-15 mins before your appt. Don't expect a timely walk in. This location is super busy. Check in, sit down, and they'll call your name. The front desk person does not check you in. The kiosk does.

Around 9:00 am, the only receptionist (an Indian woman) finally called my name to check me in. After looking at my paper lab orders, she told me I had two different orders and that I needed to sit back down because she had to manually enter the information into the system. She handed my paperwork back and asked me to wait. Instead of completing my check-in, she continued calling other walk-in patients whose lab orders were already in the system. It felt like patients with paper orders were pushed aside because they required more work to process. I don't understand why walk-in patients aren't seen in the order they check in. A woman who was also a walk-in arrived before me and I was next after her, yet she was called about 45-55 minutes before I was. The only difference was that my lab orders had to be entered manually. I was finally called back at 9:39 a.m. so the receptionist could manually enter my lab orders, which literally took her less than 4 minutes to enter. I asked why walk-in patients weren't being seen in the order they checked in, regardless of whether their orders were already in the system or on paper. She laughed. Although she apologized, the process was still unfair and inefficient. My blood was finally drawn at 9:52 a.m. One of my tests was a cortisol level, which is a time-sensitive lab, so the long delay was especially concerning. I didn't leave until 10:00 a.m. The staff should have a fair check-in process for all patients, regardless of whether their lab orders are already in the system or are on paper. My experience was disappointing and it seemed that convenience was prioritized over treating walk-in patients fairly.

It's less stressful when you know parking would be abundant. There is a security downstairs, new elevators now, and proper procedures per usual. Lockers are provided for you to put your things in prior to exam. They give clear instructions. Typically you find out your results right away, if not there would be a print out with instructions. Your palm would be scanned, photo would be taken, pockets would be checked.. and individuals with hair past your ears that would be checked to make sure there are no bluetooth in place for any cheating. All in all the only place I'd want to come for my exams as it's also close proximity to me, so I hope they will always keep this location open and have more dates here as a choice option.

They are also very gentle and efficient. I have never experienced bruising here, which has not always been the case elsewhere. Compared to Labcorp, where my husband had a difficult experience with multiple unsuccessful attempts, Quest has been much more reliable. So while the front-end experience could really use improvement, the quality of care during the blood draw itself makes a big difference. If you are someone who is anxious about needles, the professionalism and skill of the staff here can make the visit much easier.

Prior to my scheduled appointment LabCorp sent me both reminders to my mobile #, and an online check in option. I checked in online 15 minutes prior to my appointment from my car. Then I walked over to LabCorp at 6:58am where there were 10 people ahead of me. At 7am the doors opened, and I bypassed the line and sat down. My name was called a minute later. I confirmed my information. Another minute later the phlebotomist called my name. I had blood drawn and was out under ten minutes. I still can't believe how easy this appointment was this time. Hopefully my next appointment will be just as easy here. This location is at Lakeside Village. There's metered street parking and two hour residential parking.

I was also fasting for a lab draw so I was a little hangry. And, it took about a month to get this appointment, which is much longer than I've experienced in the past. What is going on? There were no dates, times, or locations listed on any of the messages, so I couldn't tell whether it was an artifact or a new alert. I called the number provided to find out if the message was related to the original appointment or the new appointment and learned that the new appointment didn't even show up in the system. And, in fact, none of the facilities in my vicinity had any rooms equipped for the kind of imaging I was scheduled for in the first place. Every staff member I spoke with was kind and professional, but there are serious issues with SimonMed's appointment scheduling system. Time for an upgrade.

I knew she was charging me incorrectly and I brought it up. However, seems she didn't really care and was getting annoyed. I was getting nowhere with her and obviously had to get the imaging done so I just had to suck it up. Never did she offer any info on how to contact billing until I asked. Next was the imaging order. Not sure why they don't have it already but I only have an electronic copy. So I mentioned that and asked if I can email it. Again she acted all snobby and acted as if I was asking the most obvious question. As if I knew the answer already on where to email it to vs uploading it into my user portal. As I was waiting, I noticed this terrible attitude given towards other check in patients. Everyone received that cold, snobby attitude. So I guess it was nice that I wasn't targeted, but she really should not be there if she has such a terrible attitude. Although I had an appointment, they weren't on time but at least this tech has way better manners. However, no one told me during the appointment booking or when I was confirming my appointment to come in without emptying my bladder and it was to be done right before imaging. Seems such important info if it was that critical for imaging, should really be known to patients beforehand. So guess what. I awkwardly tried to sit on the toilet trying to pee for a period of time cause every normal person goes at home before leaving the house. As I was finally done with my appointment. I noticed they changed people at the check in counter. This other girl seems way nicer and more patient with those checking in regardless if they are able to communicate or not due to a language barrier.
