Went in on a Saturday as a walk-in. I had several blood tests and one urinalysis sample to take. I had 2 separate doctors that sent test requisition forms to LabCorp. My doctors had already sent the orders electronically, so all I had to do was self check-in at the kiosks. I also had a test order I bought myself on the LabCorp website that was also sent electronically. Make sure you create a LabCorp patient account online before you go. The check-in process will be much faster. You won't have to enter your insurance and personal information at the kiosk if you make an account ahead of time. All you have to do is scan your ID and confirm a few details and your check-in is done. They are open 7:30a-11:30a on Saturday. I got there at 7:28am and the waiting room was already 90% full. I expected this, so it didn't bother me. There is plenty of seating and room for many in the waiting area. Most people there were walk-in patients. There is a list of names on a monitor in the waiting area that shows where you are in line after you check-in. It also shows whether you are a walk-in or an appointment. I waited ~50 minutes. The receptionist found all my test orders easily. The phlebotomist was very nice and took my blood samples efficiently and gently. One needle prick and I barely felt it. The only reason I took off one star is the restroom facilities need some attention. They need to be remodeled and cleaned. The toilet paper didn't have a roll dispenser, and the sink spigots were gross. read more

Limited parking, dirty waiting room and depressing inside. They take lunch from 12-1pm so don't expect anyone in the office to greet you. Also this location doesn't know or use text notifications so wait inside. Customer service is very nonchalant and non-PII. He will read all your information out loud so everyone can hear it. read more

August 18, 2025, went there with a relative who weeks earlier had made the appt. without any booking restrictions. All sign-in kiosks were now covered saying there were "No walk-ins" but only listed the current Aug. 18th date. Staff related there was an ongoing staff shortage for an undetermined future period causing "appointments only", no walk-ins. Tues, Aug. 19th, the website still shows "Notes: Appointment Only" With an urgent lab order required for an upcoming procedure, I will now have to travel some 40 miles round-trip to the Labcorp Pacific Avenue site in San Francisco's Chinatown, which is the only location in SF/San Mateo counties with an available appointment window to complete the pre-procedure labs. :( read more

I'm on vacation and my doctor back home randomly requested some updated bloodwork. After looking up nearby Labcorp locations I was a bit freaked out by the reviews I was seeing, especially when it came to long waits and rude staff. Fortunately, I had a relatively pain free experience here and was in and out in under 30 minutes without an appointment! I stopped in on a Friday around 8AM and admittedly the awaiting room was pretty packed. I signed in on the ipads and was told there was a 30+ minute wait. What's nice is they told me I could wait in my car and they'd text me when my turn was up. After around 30 minutes I popped back inside to see where I was in line. Imagine this - I was polite and friendly to the front desk staff and they were friendly right back! Not having an attitude goes a long way. 2 minutes later I was taken to the back and had one of the fastest and easiest blood draws of my life. Everyone was friendly along the way. Anything medical that involved waiting can be awful, but being nice to the staff led to them being nice right back to me. Only docking a point because the waiting room is worse than a DMV in terms of comfort. I don't usually look forward to getting my blood drawn. Who does? However, Labcorp takes all the pressure and stress away for me. Very easy to set up an appointment online, and check-in is just as easy. The staff is always very polite to me. Sometimes things can get a little busy or slow, but I just get lost in my cell phone while I wait ... absolutely no worries here! The phlebotomists are easily the best I've had the pleasure to be punctured by! :-D Never once did I feel any pain. They are always very careful and quick. They are terrible at handling specimens. I got a call to submit a new urine sample because they spilled it at the LAB. It was hard enough to take time off of work to get there to turn in the first one. There were 2 other visits when some results were left out and only partial information was submitted to the MD. I tried to ask the MD if they could recommend another LAB they only use LABCORP. I called my insurance and they gave me a list of other LABS I could use. Of course I still had to pay for the LABS that was not even completed by them because they mishandled the specimen 3 times. It was a wasted trip. read more

Typically I go to LabCorp on Ocean Av but appointments were two and half weeks out. I took a look at other locations and saw this one in Daly City. I made an online appointment. Haven't ever been here imagine my surprise when my map app said I'd arrived. Where is LabCorp? I only see Teamsters in bold letters. Then I read the list of tenants. Alright. I'm here. Easy street parking. I enter the double doors and spot a sign LAB. There are several express kiosks. Check in with your driver license. Your profile comes up with your medical information that you've provided in the past. Verify the info. You're now checked in. Immediately afterwards my name is called. I hand my work order over. Again I verify my name and medical info. Less than a couple minutes later I'm called in for my routine lab work. All in all a very easy transaction. The interior work area looks very dated. It can use a makeover. A fly buzzing around. Helene my phlebotomist was very nice. She was very gentle and took her time. read more

I came in at 6:30am (Wed morning) for a drop in blood test. There were about 10 people before me. I checked in with my ID card and waited, got my blood drawn, and left for home in about 40 min. The person helping me was really polite and I thought things were really efficient. I believe there is only street parking available so arrive early if you've got an appointment. I went back at around 1pm to drop off something and the place wasn't crowded at all. Might be a good time if you're doing a drop in. read more

If you are looking to get some labs down and if it happens to be on a Saturday, this location is one of the only places that's open with no appointment required. When you walk in, you'll check-in at the kiosk and enter your info. Then you'll grab a seat in the waiting area until your name is called. Once I was called, the lab work went by pretty quick. Being that they are one of the only places open Saturday there was a lot of people, and it ended up being close to a 1-1.5 hr experience start to finish. If you are planning on coming to this location, it's best to show up at least 45+ minutes before their closing time if you want a chance to get labs done that day. This past Saturday, their sign says they close at 11:30, but they stopped taking walk up check-ins around 10:50. Every person who came after that time, was turned away. I didn't get blood drawn until after 12pm because there were so many people, which was past their closing time. I think that's why they stop taking walk-ins because the receptionists leaves right at 11:30, and would not be able to check-in ppl past that time. My suggestion for this location is to have a sign that says 'must check-in prior' to a specific time, to avoid any confusion because there was definitely a ton of frustrated people who came after they stopped taking check-ins. TLDR: Go early and give yourself enough leeway time. I wouldn't recommend going 30-45 minutes before their posted closing time because you'll most likely get turned away. read more

The turnover rate at this lab is high. There are a few folks who have stayed but it seems they don't have a solid dedicated crew. Some staff members are nice and friendly while others are less so. They're insanely short staffed which makes the wait time extremely long. As of this writing, it looks like they have only three people working, and I have been waiting over an hour and a half to be called in. They say to make an appointment, but if you go to the website the earliest appointment is a couple of months out, and some strange systems glitch, it won't let me schedule that far out. The hours are simply too short. On weekdays they close by 2:30!! They take a lunch but stop taking clients half an hour before lunch and closing. What is a working person supposed to do? Go in Saturdays they say, but the lab is open for only four hours from 7:30-11am, as mentioned earlier, reception takes a break!!! And of course everyone who works and can't get there at 7am on weekdays is there on Saturday. It is a catch 22 and utterly frustrating esp if one needs to get regular bloodwork done. Honestly, this lab has gone downhill in terms of being efficient and smooth. But it's the only one nearby so this is what patients have to put up with. read more

My girlfriend had blood work that needed to be done, they told us to check online for the test instead of taking our paperwork and helping us order the labs. They didn't take the time to help us, they were rude. Waste of time. I wish we could of had people who wanted to help us, instead of just taking the easy route and making us use our phones to order the test, when they have the knowledge and computers to help us. read more

I'm thankful and grateful for the staff working here. I've been coming here for years and have never had any problems. Again, the staffs are friendly, welcoming and the phlebotomist who drew my blood was quick and it didn't hurt. (And I love needles. Masks are required and they do limit patients inside the room were they draw blood. They provide alcohol wipes to sanitize the kiosk before using. Walk-ins are welcome but if you want to make an appointment, pls go to their website and select which branch you'd like to go. Parking is available out on the street or the garage. Don't hesitate to get your bloodwork done during these crazy times. You just need to take extra precautionary measures. Stay safe and healthy. read more

I didn't have an appointment so the wait was longer for me. They will call you after ~30 mins for payments and verify information. Then ~20 mins later, they will call you to get your blood drawn. This is assuming it isn't too busy. This place was super crowded by 8 am so go It's either a slow process or they need to hire more staff especially for the weekend. FYI: HOURS ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE WRONG! Showed up on a Friday 30 min prior to the close time posted on their site. Was turned away because they were closing. Showed up last Saturday at 1030 am and at 11 am, heard them telling patients they're closed. They have a sign on the door saying they're short staffed. Again, their website shows as 1130 am. Showed up today (Saturday, 7/24) at 855 am. It's packed already. One employee comes out to the lobby to say they're short staffed and apologize for the wait. I overhear the employees saying they will have to close early bc there's a queue of patients. Again, short staffed. Now this is only 3 data points but if you're short staffed 2 Saturdays in a row, wouldn't it make sense to have more people work on a Saturday? I also don't believe this has only happened twice. I bet it's every Saturday if not every day. Unfortunately, this is the closest LabCorp to where I live so I have to deal with this. But I'd recommend going elsewhere to get lab work done. read more

I am VERY disappointed in the experience I received at this Lap Corp site. They closed earlier they their phone lines said they would do we had to return another day. When we returned they said we should have come in the morning. I asked why I did not receive a call back. They said I should have called again and apologized then laughed in our faces. We are going in for FDA Labs for fertility treatments that are time sensitive. I will NEVER go back to that site. I'm filing a formal complaint with the company. If this is how they routinely treat people they should all be fired. I'm throughly disgusted by how this site runs and how they treat clients. I am so incredibly fed up. I have now lost 2 days that I could have gotten my labs drawn. If was just my labs I would be less frustrated but because two people needed their labs drawn now I'm pissed. This is the MOST disgusting and unhygienic laboratories I have ever been to. I don't understand how OSHA hasn't shut you down! The tables where you lay down has graffiti and not just in one spot, it's all over the table. The phlebotomist asked me to set my purse down on this filthy table that had the paper used to separate between patients drawn back, stained and wrinkled as if it had been used. The drawers that contain the blood tubes used to collect patients blood has a layer of dirt and grime. My phlebotomist had matching accumulation of plaque on his teeth and his breath was so foul that I had to turn my face from having to smell it. I came in on a day where they were setting up new stand alone machines to register yourself to make the process faster and they couldn't get them to function. I noticed a lady directing them on the machines but I don't know if it was a general manager for LabCorp or a woman that specifically represented those devices, but it made me think how could you not get on them for cleanliness. To make matters worse, I received a bill because according to the letter my insurance denied the claim and of course they will deny it if you're billing the wrong insurance carrier which is what they did. English is a second language for the entire staff so if you speak Tagalog, I'm sure they'll understand you better. Go where English is a sure thing since there is no diversity in this office to ensure you and your billing needs are taken care of appropriately. read more

This company fails each and every time. Over many years I've filled out surveys, made calls to their customer service and even have filed formal complaints with health plan. The customer service is atrocious. If you don't have an appointment allow 2 hours from registration to getting seen and out the door. Today they had a sign taped on the door that said they were taking lunch from 11-12. I arrived at 11:20 and was heading home at 1:00pm. I called customer service number and went no where. i was told that there are staff shortage due to Covid. But, like I told the person on the phone, Labcorp. Has had problems before Covid, continues during Covid and most likely will after Covid. Why? Labcorp, it's entire organization just does not care! Their track record speaks volumes. The conclusion is they only care about keeping their stock holders happy and their bottom line profitable and have completely disregarded the patient. Patients are just a number for Lapcorp. RUDE AND SLOW! The wait takes so incredibly long, it smells like urine inside, and worst of all, the receptionists are incredibly impolite. My doctor sent me here after I needed a simple blood test run and it was one of the worst lab experiences I've ever had. I came in with the slip filled out by the doctor and the receptionist told me "We don't do that test here." "But I have the form right here saying that yo-" "NO. WE DON'T DO THAT HERE!" "Listen! My physician sent me here because you're the ones who perform this test." "NO! I'M TELLING YOU WE DO NOT RUN THAT HERE!" I called my physician and when she spoke to this rude lady, the lady goes: "oh. then we do do it here." See, all that yelling at me for nothing, rude lady. Just read the instructions from the doctor before getting cheeky with me. I came here two days in a row and both receptionists kept raising their voices and giving me this back talk. Trust me, I'm not sensitive to rude people and I can tolerate service where grumpy people just grunt at me without smiling, but for these ladies to be consistently super impolite and obnoxiously rude to all of the patients coming in here is simply unacceptable. The wait was equally bad, although it didn't irritate me as much as the receptionists. I waited 2 hours for something that took less than 10 minutes. On top of that it smelled like pee, so I was way unhappy. It takes quite a lot to piss an easy-going guy like me off, but Labcorp on Southgate somehow pulled it off. MY ARM LOOKS LIKE A CRACK-ADDICTS ARM (1 star, if not 0 stars) Cut circulation, slap your vein, and stab. I AM A PATIENT, NOT A DRUG ADDICT. Removal of the badage and tape around the injection site hurt more than the unhappy lab technicians who seem to dislike their job of lodging and jabbing needles and filling tubes of blood all day long. Might I add, they do it roughly. It doesnt help that I just had shots injected in that arm at the docs office either. My moving limb was beat-up by needles. - don't come in the mornings, you will be waiting forever. come in the afternoons - parking is cake - whomever has assigned you paperwork for blood testing secretly morsecodes on your paperwork to the admin at the office "12hr fasting" so be prepared for the admin to ask you "still fasting?" (with no emotion and no time for you to respond) - its like a pop quiz question. luckily i was in the hospital most of the morning without food, so fasting was not an issue for me. Do not come here. Filipino man in his 50s sitting in front is rude. He will make you wait for a long time to get your labs drawn even if you checked in the kiosk . Also, forget about Hipaa. They will openly talk about your health in front of everyone to hear. read more
