Josh and his assistant were so chill! My friends and I reserved a private sushi rolling course. Not only did they come to us, they also brought all the materials with them! All we supplied was a kitchen space and a hungry stomach. He told us it takes him at least a week of preparing for each reservation, from searching for quality fish to prepping cucumber, all the way to having steaming hot sushi rice and complimentary miso soup. He and his assistance went above and beyond in their patience, attentiveness, and definitely passed the vibe check.

Josh came through to our house for an in-house omakase experience and it was seriously so good. I've been to a lot of omakase places and this was one of the best experiences I've had. Super knowledgeable of sushi and a genuinely nice guy. 10/10 would totally do this again!

I booked a private Sushi Workshop for my friend's housewarming party in early November. It was a fantastic way to reconnect with my friends after almost a whole year of social distancing! I didn't have very high expectations for a beginner's course sushi but I was mindblown at how delicious everything tasted! My group made 4 different rolls including a California, Dragon, Spicy Tuna and a Hand Roll. Joshua taught us step-by-step on how to make and cut each style of roll. He was very informative, patient, helpful and entertaining with his instructions. I had an extra specialty roll added to the menu for an additional cost called the Salmon Ceviche roll. My friends took turns searing the Salmon. It was so worth the price because the fish used were all high quality, freshly cut in front of us and melted in the mouth! The sushi never fell apart with each bite. All of us had such a positive and memorable experience. Joshua was very accommodating to our group. Everything including ingredients, cutlery, supplies and tableware were all provided for and cleaned up afterwards. All we had to do was show up! We all got to bring home our very own individual bamboo rolling mats and recipe book! I highly recommend Kaiyo Sushi Catering and booking Joshua if you're looking for something fun and new for your event!

Josh and Josh and his team were amazing! This was our first at home sushi experience and we were blown away by the fresh food and presentation! It was ALL delicious! We hope to have this experience and great food again soon!

Wow...just wow! Josh & Spencer are straight mastering the sushi game! We attended a function at a friends house...not expecting it'd be one of the best sushi experiences of my adult life. Btw I've had MANY amazing sushi experiences in my almost 43yrs, so that is saying a lot! Hit these gents up and show them some love with your patronage!

I ordered the Tijuana Burrito with chicken. It is supposed to come with rice, cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese and beans. Unfortunately, it was almost all rice and really bland. There was just one bite of chicken, almost none of their homemade beans and some lettuce. Then they did not seem to have any cheese, but did have some sour cream (maybe they ran out of cheese, but should have told people). The burrito was $19 and no excuse to pack it full of rice. This was really disappointing, the food vendors here are usually excellent (my wife was smarter and had a sandwich from Purple and loved it). Perhaps the tacos or Baja Bowl are better.

It's parked in a lot that's within walking distance of my site and I imagine quite a few other places as when I would look out the window, I'd see a few people ordering each time. I decided to go with the "Street tacos" - It comes with not 3 but 4 tacos, on corn tortillas (instant points for this) and the usual other accompaniments - radish, onion, sauce. I got the 2 asada and 2 Soy chorizo as you can mix and match. The asada was good, not the best I've had when it comes to tacos and the seasoning I've had with comparable tacos, but the soy chorizo was really good. Very impressive flavor. It was about $16 I believe so about $4 a taco, not the most egregious I've seen in pricing, but decent. I also got bag of tortilla chips free, but they did give any salsa. The ones included for the tacos also were pretty small. That all said the food is decent and if you're looking for some food truck tacos and see Isidros, they'll do the trick.

The one star was for the good set up of tables, tablecloths, and bartending service we had on our wedding. Communication with Teanna was prompt. At times she was rude, but I figured it was due to being busy. The taco bar and steak were the only food everyone loved. I shy away from writing bad reviews of businesses but for the very expensive cost of the catering and terrible food I had to write a review. The baked salmon was horrible. It seemed like they used frozen salmon. It wasn't seasoned good either! It was supposed to be with lemon and mayo with some seasonings, but it only had salt and pepper on top of the salmon. The asparagus and other veggies were soggy. It seemed again like it was frozen veggies that were used. The fruits were not fresh. They were prepped more than a day or so old. The presentation of the fruit tower was terrible! My husband and I are big foodies and the food was a total disappointment to us. Really felt like money was wasted. We were also told the staff was rude to our guests. The leftover food was taken by us and some families, but were not eaten 'cause of how badly it tasted. I wish I listened to my husband to search for more catering company before deciding on this one.
