The staff had integrity and told me that they couldn't change the tires because they were old, per company policy. I'm a returning customer from when they were located in Concord and the service has always been exemplary. Of course during the winter months and especially during snow storms tire changeover appointments will be backed up but that's understandable. Whether it's for tire installation, balancing, re-torquing or flat repairs these guys will try and accommodate you. During the summer months I've even dropped in unannounced with a slow leak and I didn't have to wait at all while they repaired it (totally under their warranty also). Free WIFI, freshly brewed coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate & popcorn make this location very comfortable if you're needing to wait during your service appointment. They also price match any tire distributor & have some specialty brands like Nokian. read more

Saturday, 2 pm, I got a flat tire. Look at the computer and only 8 m from my house, I found KAL TIRE. I said to my self, oh thank god this people are just near me. Got there at 2.45pm (they close at 5pm) I spoke with a guy there was at the office and told him that I have a tire that needs to be fixed. Surprise, surprise...! the guy told me that they fix tires but they can not help me because they have a lot of customers. Really??? I didn't see any. Was one car in one of the elevators, another elevator with no car and a guy waiting in the office that I assume was from the car in the garage. I saw two young employees doing absolutely nothing when I stop my car in front of the garage doors before I go to the office. Than the guy told me to come back Monday morning (what???...) I thought was a joke at the beginning but fast I saw that they were not interested in helping me, at all. I see businesses in a different way. If I was that guy I could do the job because today I only needed my flat tire repaired but in the future maybe I can buy winter tires or anything else. Well, took me 2 h more to have the problem solved. I just went to Canadian Tire. I will pass this story to all my friends and that it all I can do. Completely agree with Jeremy's comments. Booked an appointment for swapping winters with summers (mounted). Showed up at 12.55pm and it's now 2:30pm and we are still waiting for it to be done. Horrible service...do not recommend! read more

Excellent service! My sister and I got a flat tire on a long weekend heading up to the cottage. We called many different tire stores and Kal Tire was the only one that would take us, since everyone in the area was closing. They stayed open late for us to help us fix our tire and get up to the cottage safely. They were very kind and generous people that helped us out tremendously.
