The food was tasty, the service friendly and the ambiance nice. The place looked clean. However, if you need to use the bathroom, I suggest you wait to go somewhere else. The bathrooms are a long walk to the back of the premises and not presentable for public use.

Such a lovely place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were able to taste items before ordering and the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby because I would definitely go again.

Love to see a plant based restaurant in what could be considered a vegan food desert (the case in most parts of Florida). I went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were some customers, but it wasn't busy at all and parking was surprisingly easy even though it's in the quaint "downtown" area of Daytona. The staff were so friendly throughout and answered any questions I had. I tried the standard value meal (1 main, 3 sides, $15) and got the seitan, Mac n cheese, sweet potato, and beans/rice. They were very generous with portion size for the sides, and everything tasted good. I did notice some branches I'd never seen before in the rice (shown in the image) that had a tough texture and didn't seem to have any flavor. I personally didn't like them with the soft rice, so I didn't eat them. Otherwise, everything else was great and if I'm ever back in town I'll be sure to stop by again! They have so many smoothie flavors too! Plenty of seating and bathrooms are available in the very back of the restaurant.

VEGAN JAMAICAN CUISINE ! Located on beach street HEART of downtown Daytona Beach . I USE TO COME HERE TWICE A WEEK LOL! EVERYTIME i tell my friends I'm eating here they tell me to try a NEW place lol. Indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is ran by a beautiful big family and i love that. Everyone is family works at the restaurant and are all so nice & friendly. Sometimes it does take a while to order and to get the food, so just be patience. The juice bar has great smoothies the Mango Chai smoothie is FIRE, Apple Carrot, Kale TINGZ all YUMMY! They also have wellness shots ! The vegan meals are GREAT! My absolute favorite dish is the vegan KALE LASAGNA!! Even my friend who isn't vegan and doesn't eat anything LOVES the lasagna! I always leave FULL & SATISFIED!!!

Let me start off by saying their food is very good for both vegan and non-vegan individuals. I am not vegan but I thoroughly enjoy their food because it is flavorful. The issue is their lack of consistency with their products and the amount that you pay. I have come in to the restaurant on many different occasions and each time there "I'm a diabetic" smoothie hasn't been able to be made because they are lacking some of the ingredients. Again this isn't just one time this has happened I have been in multiple times at many different points and they still don't have all the ingredients for that particular smoothie. Another thing that I enjoy is their kale salad normally a small will fill me up. But today I got frustrated because yet again the container that I paid for seems to be getting smaller each time. Today I received my kale salad in a cup which is considerably less than what I usually get and their brown containers. I don't know if it's a ordering issue or what but if I have to pay the prices that I pay then I believe their products should be delivered the same across-the-board. If you are consistently not going to have a particular item then you should take that item off of the menu. Again I do love the restaurant but their lack of being consistent as a person who patronizes them frequently is becoming very frustrating to say the least. Also, The last time that I visited prior to today I literally had to wait 20 minutes for a 16 ounce smoothie because the worker wanted to set up the outside tables and chairs before making my smoothie when I was the only person in the business. And it was during Business hours. The food is good, the process and lack of consistency is not.

Masala style seitan, rice & beans, Mac n cheese, and fried plantains! So much good food for a great price!

Excited to find this cafe! The food was so tasty! Seitan special was masala style and of course I had to have plantains!

Wow....is an appropriate expression of how I feel about this place. Vegan food with tons of gf options, fresh juices and smoothes. The service is outstanding.... Price quality and service all 6 stars...

My chik'n patty is thinner than the tomato slice! I got ripped off today.

I'm not sure what happened here? We used to get chickenless agave sandwiches and the chik'n patties were nice & meaty. You got full from your sandwich. Today I bit into a wafer thin crispy chik'n slab? I dunno, it was overcooked so it was dry and harder than I liked. IT WAS THINNER THAN THE TOMATO SLICE!!! I should've taken a photo where I compared it to the plastic fork handle which was thicker than the chik'n patty too... So my man goes to ask what's going on, why are our chickenless sandwiches LESS the Chik'n and he's told they now take the same thick chik'n patty and slice them into 3 but still charge you for the full patty! I'm driving away still hungry after my sandwich was consumed. I noticed the entire size of the bun and everything has gotten smaller while the price didn't. I hate being ripped off by places I frequent. This is absolutely absurd. My chik'n patty was thinner than the tomato slice! I got a glorified tomato sandwich for lunch. I can't begin to express my displeasure here. Ugh.

I recently went to Kale Cafe in Daytona w/ my friend. We each ordered the vegan combo plate that comes w/ one main ting & three sides. For the main ting there were four options: seitan, tofu, mushrooms, or chana masala. There were eight side tings to choose from. Me & my friend both opted for the Coconut Jerk Seitan w/ eggplant, broiled potatoes, rice & peas, and I had the vegan Mac & Cheese while he opted for the cabbage. We split a kale salad & shared a Jamaican vegan beef patty. The meal was hearty, flavorful & satisfying. I especially loved the Coconut Jerk Seitan w/ eggplant and the Vegan Mac & Cheese. The vegan cheese is made in house from potatoes, coconut milk, & nutritional yeast. The Kale Salad was nice to get some greens plus had a flavorful dressing that had accents of lemon. The Jamaican vegan beef patty shouldn't be missed as this was a unique treat. Although our lunch was very satisfying we decided to split some vegan sweet bread for desert that was made w/ blueberries & peanut butter. The owner Camille stopped by our table. She was very kind & appreciated her hospitality making us feel welcome. Her & her husband are both longtime vegans. They are from Jamaica & are Rastafarian so the food at their restaurant is Ital. Ital means Vital. It is an essentially whole foods plant based vegan diet. The food here is both flavorful & healthy which we both appreciated. Besides the vegan combo plate the menu has much to offer. There are half a dozen smoothies. Half a dozen fresh juices. All the drinks can be had in three different sizes. The food here is Non-GMO & organic as much as possible. Everything here is 100 percent vegan! There is the Raw plate for raw vegans. For light eaters or children there is the light eater plate that is one main ting & one side. For fans of veggie burgers they offer a made in house organic veggie burger. There is a brunch offered every Saturday. Will be sure to return next time I am in the area. Don't miss the all you can eat vegan buffet the last Sunday of every month from 11am to 3pm.

Located on the beach side of Atlantic Avenue in what looks like a motel, Adam's Egg appears to be a popular place for motel guests. We were seated promptly by an overly friendly server and perused the menu. After hearing about their breakfast special, Adam's Breakfast Bowl, my wife decided to order that with crispy house potatoes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with gravy on the side ($15). She also ordered a side of toasted wheat toast ($2). I ordered the Adam's Two and Two with scrambled eggs, bacon and house potatoes ($13). We each ordered coffee ($8) and water to go with our meals. My wife liked her dish but thought the potatoes weren't crispy. My breakfast was fine, although I thought the scrambled eggs lacked the fluffiness that I've come to expect for an elevated breakfast experience. Lately, I've been judging breakfast joints by how fluffy their scrambled eggs are...and this didn't quite make the mark. It was an OK breakfast. The highlight of our meal was the friendly and efficient server. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just over $48.

There's not a ton of space, which I'm sure makes the rush brunch worse. Facilities were to clean and well maintained, well decorated as well. Our server Ashley was friendly and great. The food was delicious! My fiance and I both got veggie omelettes, he was able to add bacon to his and sub the potatoes for a fruit cup. We got an English muffin and wheat toast. Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours!
