Came in the late afternoon and decided to get a matcha latte and it was a little mid. But I will say, this place is probably know more for coffee and I will give an update when I visit again. The interior space is huge with a library living room type space and there is also lots of space in the patio area. This seems like a good space to work remote from.

I've been here a few times. Coffee is okay but not strong if you're into strong coffee this is not the place for it. The mocha was more like a hot cocoa it was good though. Pastries were very delicious! Customer service was alright but it can improve. I'll go back but it won't be my go to coffee shop.

What an adorable spot in Point Richmond. So cozy and community friendly/oriented. While in the area I stopped in to do some work on the laptop and noticed other worker bees and coffee dates. Super warm and inviting environment with WiFi. There's board games and a small stage (looks like are also a venue for evening events!) I ordered an avo toast and matcha latte. Really went for all green :)) I appreciate the drinks served in super cute mugs, giving the feel that you're curling up at your home away from home. They offer other fun toast options, snacks, salads, beer/wine, coffee/tea, sweet treats, and more. There's plenty of parking in the area, but leave additional time just in case. Super friendly staff, a real feel-good spot.

Solid coffee in Richmond Was walking around and stumbled upon this place. I was amazed at how much seating space this coffee shop had including outdoor seating space. It feels very homey, comfortable, and a great place to hang out with friends. The drinks were amazing, matcha was on the lighter side and was not a strong matcha flavor but overall pretty solid drinks. Service was alright, person on cashier was not very friendly. If you have questions about drink menu items, they're not the best at answering and seem annoyed that you're asking. That being said, I was able to talk to the baristas and they were very friendly so maybe it's just the cashier. Overall I'd come back to try some different items. Coffee Rating: 9/10 Matcha Rating: 8/10 Overall Rating: 8/10

I ordered a Vietnamese latte and I thought it was ok. It was pretty sweet and I couldn't taste the coffee as much-- typically a Vietnamese coffee has a nice strong taste that shines through. But the most notable thing about this place is the ambiance. There is an assortment of tables and chairs inside, a couch and sofa seats, and a beautiful backyard patio with even more seating. There's a shelf of books and games. I grabbed a book and sat outside to enjoy the fresh air and trees with my coffee. I'd certainly come back here to sit down and do work or hang out with a friend. At least they also serve food and pastries that seem to be affordably priced compared to oakland cafes!

    Vietnamese iced coffee

I'm so disappointed my husband went to get my usual Vietnamese iced coffee which I always get only a few other times did it taste off to me but today it was more like condensed milk and milk no coffee whatsoever for almost an $7/$8 drink it's a waste. I can't even drink it because it's all milk and sugar.

Finding it wasn't intuitive to me, but I assume the locals in the Marina area are familiar with the navigational challenges. I was planning to take a late afternoon walk around Marina Bay, so I decided to give this place a try for lunch since their menu was right up my alley. It consisted mostly of salads and sandwiches. They described themselves as 'artisan' because they use locally sourced ingredients to make some enticing creations like the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich and the artisan chopped salad. I went for the basic $15.25 BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado) Sandwich served on toasted brioche bread slathered in chipotle mayo (Photo 7). It worked for me as I sat in their large dining area. I'd likely return now that I know how to get here. I gave two stars because the lady making my sandwich was kind. This should be zero stars. I ate here because my husband was getting a colonoscopy the day before Thanksgiving so not only was I feeling worried about my husband, the food here just made my day more sad. Today's special was fried chicken wings, onion rings and fries. They might as well call this Wing Stop. The other special today was steak (more like hamburger patties) with rice and salad. Soup of the day was beef and rice. Did they hire the chef from the local prison? Are they trying to make people sick to get more customers for the hospital? Everything is basically cheap. Most sandwiches are 7 dollars and the salmon sandwich is 7.95. Specials are like 9.95 here. To try to be healthy, I asked for a gluten free Atlantic salmon wrapped in lettuce. What I got was a thin frozen salmon patty that tasted like it was processed to taste like ramen. They grilled this frozen fish patty for almost 10 minutes and while I waited for this icicle to melt, I looked for some veggies and the best thing I could find was a beet tomato salad for 5.50 My total for lunch was more than 14 dollars and I got a sour tasting beet tomato salad and a thin piece of processed salmon patty on a bunch of lettuces. The dining area was sad. No decorations, some tables were dirty, and a bunch of depressed looking employees and patient family members holding their cellphones waiting for news.

We started with the bread basket with compound butter, which was a great start. I ordered the Little Gem salad and the thick cut pork chop, while BB went with the salmon. Our server, Sheila, mentioned it was her first day as a waitress, and she did an amazing job -- attentive, kind, and confident throughout the experience. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't quite match that same level during this visit. The pork chop was significantly undercooked and not safe to eat, so I wasn't able to finish it. The accompanying components -- including the polenta underneath and the warm mix of green beans, tomatoes, and arugula -- had good flavor, which made it a bit disappointing that the main protein missed the mark. Service overall was great, and I still appreciate the concept of giving culinary students a platform to showcase their skills. That said, proper cooking -- especially with pork -- is critical, and this is an area that needs attention. Overall, a mixed experience: strong service and a great concept, but the kitchen execution needs more consistency
