Stopped by for my first time this morning and can't wait to come back!! The service was quick and friendly and food exactly what I wanted!

What a fun, hidden gem. And I must say, conveniently located next to Target in Albany AND a drive-thru only. All of the things a new mom on-the-go dreams of. Not having to leave the car after running an errand, placing an order while in the car, and having a coffee delivered to her by hand :) Fun staff, fair pricing, and a cool menu. I usually don't stray for my iced coffees, but they do offer more than just your typical cup of joe. And from these Yelp pictures, looks like sweet froyo and milkshake options too! Which is always good to know for longer car rides or detours with the kiddo. The last time I visited they were doing samples of a summer soda and I noticed they had brekky items to-go. Incredibly fast service and it seems independently-owned. Love the signage and look/feel of this spot. Highly recommend if in the Albany area pre or post-Target run. read more

Staff was really nice and answered questions I had about drinks and what she recommended that wasn't too much on the sweet side. I got an iced horchata latte and she adjusted it so it's less sweet. It is pretty good! I'll definitely come back to try other lattes or the soft serve that I saw on a poster. read more

Loved the green chile burrito and the iced mocha. If you pass by, you should stop and try it! The staff member was very nice.

I always think this is a drive thru coffee shop. And because of that-no one like to stop by. I passed by all the time when I go to Target and it was always empty. This is not a drive thru. This is a coffee shop with plenty of parking spots and the entire big showroom to enjoy your drinks. Plus small patio in the front. That large showroom and parking used to be part of Toyota dealership. Toyota is still next door. I parked my car at a large empty parking lot and enjoyed my frappe in a spacious room that used to be a Toyota dealership. Nothing is better than this. Frappe taste excellent. read more

What a hidden gem! I always thought this place was somehow related to the car dealership but it's a totally separate little drive thru with delicious treats! I got a soft serve on my way into Target. They also had fresh bread, pastries, and coffee that I'll try next time. So cute and very much a quality little shop. read more

i ended up getting an iced pumpkin spiced latte and a bacon breakfast burrito. the latte was good and not too sweet which is what i like! the barista did mention it was a stronger drink so it was exactly what i was expecting! i also got a bacon breakfast burrito and unfortunately it was really hard... i think it was heated up/cooked way too much. i definitely recommend their coffee, but maybe skip out on their breakfast burritos. read more

I stopped by here last week with a friend. I ordered an iced matcha latte and the green chili breakfast burrito. My friend ordered a latte and the vegan breakfast sandwich. I really liked the matcha latte here. The lady who works here has good customer service. Wait time could be a bit excessive because it's a very small coffee shop but I would recommend. read more

The best coffee! The espresso has such a great depth to it. It isn't acidic or bitter - just deep and robust, if that makes sense? It has a lovely roastiness to it. They also make all their own syrups! And coming from NM, their green chile breakfast burritos aren't bad in a pinch. read more

Love, love, love me some Joe's Coffee. I used to come for coffee when my kid had his little league games at Albany Park nearby. Now I drive the 15 minutes from where I live in Downtown Berkeley just for a cup of coffee. There are no shortage of coffee places where I live, but I make the trip here for a good strong cup of joe. The staff is super friendly, too. It's a drive thru coffee shop so you never have to leave your car in case you're on your way to work. There are pastries and a breakfast burrito they also sell. I've had their blueberry scone and a smaller sized pre-made breakfast burrito. These both went well with my coffee. On one of my previous visits, I got a rewards card and get a stamp for every time I visit. I believe on my 10th visit I get a free coffee. They also have a promotion where if you download the app, you get a free coffee - I've done this too. The guy working the counter told me about this. Highly recommend this spot! read more

Selection was terrible and extremely overpriced. Girls were on their phones when i came in. Not to mention.... Dress code anyone? Juicy couture sweat suit to work? No apron? No dress code? Shop is cute but would rather go to the starbucks in target. Drinks are not consistent. Food was heated in a microwave with no gloves or handwashing. There are a lot of great coffee options including specialty coffees, but I just opted for a small black coffee. They have quick bites as well such as an English muffin sandwich and pastries from Starter Bakery. Prices are fair for the area. Service is friendly - I felt very welcome and valued as a customer. Had the special Golden Latte which had turmeric and it was delicious. Girl at the stop offered free fresh choice of bread since it was nearing closing time. We decided to stop in and grab a drink. I've never been there but have been wanted to try. Next time I'll keep driving. I checked the menu and decided I wanted an iced tea and my kid wanted a matcha latte. We ordered large of each. We're told they don't have iced tea. I said "oh! It's on the menu" and she just looked me. If you re out of iced tea, that's a different story. It took forever for them to make the matcha. We asked for it sweetened, they didn't sweeten it and the size was tiny even though we ordered a large. Once we got back on the highway I tried my drink and it has got to be the worst espresso I've ever had. I could tell that it was a dry bean. So disappointing. read more

I finally went thru the drive thru and ordered a 16 oz white mocha with oat milk and it was good! Hot and flavorful!! As for the bread, I had already bought one at Berkeley Bowl. He did say they sometimes sell out in 3 hours and sometimes they don't. Hope that helps some of you. Next time I'll pick up their lemon poppy muffin made from Sonoma Bakery? Yelp said this place is closed, but it's not. We've been here twice after just recently discovering it was open. The second time, we didn't realize they were closed when we pulled up, but that didn't matter, the super nice gentleman took our order anyway. Customer service was excellent and I'd be happy to frequent this establishment to support this small business because of it. The added bonus is the coffee is also really good. I tend to have a complicated order, and it was met with no issues. My daughter ordered the Havana Cap with oat milk and she said it was also very good and couldn't wait to come back.
