Dr. Edibam is the worst doctor I've ever seen. He accused me of lying by saying "you're lying"…read moredirectly to my face. Then proceeded to ask me why I'm here if I did not bring a physical CD of my CT SCAN, although I spoke to front desk over the phone and they said to email it and then when I got there to check in, I confirmed again if my imaging was ok and the lady at the front desk said yes. Dr. Edibam said that's not possible that his staff didn't say that and said I'm lying. He then proceeded to yell at me saying there's nothing wrong with me and he can't do anything. Then I explained my symptoms and he said everyone else has the same symptoms. He then laughed at me and said "you were born this way, what do you want me to do?" And I started crying and looked to the medical assistant who was a young female who looked away while standing behind me. I asked her why she is letting the doctor speak to me this way and asked if she was a woman also. She proceeded to leave the room and block the door. I felt very unsafe and he charged me for the visit anyways and when I called to take it off the lady at the front desk said no. Please do not go here. Especially if you're a young female. I'm a young back women and I'm not sure if that's why he was triggered and bullied me as a doctor in the visit. If you are going to go, being your parents or someone Who is able to oversee and step up for you. I reported Dr. Edibam to the state medical board and submitted an investigation with my dental insurance. I don't wish for anyone else to go through this, especially if it was bias or racist.

I have always been very insecure about my front teeth and my smile. I had a complete redo of my smile, including multiple tooth extractions and implants with Dr. Edibam. He has been so precise, personable and comforting. I was very nervous, yet calm and comfortable with his plan for my new and improved smile. He called my the evening of my surgery to check on my progress, and I had several post check appointments at no extra cost. Working closely with my dentist, he has successfully transformed my smile, my look and my confidence. His staff has also been very kind. This is an office with ovrall positive energy. Worth every penny.

So to be VERY clear! I am NOT a frequent flyer at the dentist office! I've never even had so much…read moreas a cavity in my 30+ years of living! No braces growing up NOTHING! outside of yearly cleanings and X-rays. I'm basically a catholic saint when it comes to teeth. However I was horrified to find out I had to have ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last year during my routine yearly cleanings and x-ray exam with my regular dentist. For YEARS I had a very good dentist who told me "hey if they don't bother you, you don't bother them" type deal with my wisdom teeth. So after seeing a new dentist he told me I had NO CHOICE, but to have them removed because they were pushing against my other teeth and 1 wisdom tooth was already impacted! I was referred to some young hot shot know it all dentist who had all kinds of fancy drone shots of his dental practice in Norwalk plastered all over his website. Well suffice to say Mr. hot shot dentist literally wasted 2 hours of my time, $500.00 dollars in a consultation fee and some fancy over the top additional NOT COVERED by insurance 3D X-ray. He told me there was no way he could remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth he could MAYBE at BEST remove 3 and I would likely experience more pain than I had ever experienced in my life and possible nerve damage in my jaw and face. If I wanted to be put to sleep the extraction would have to be done in A HOSPITAL! because for whatever reason he was afraid to give me anesthesia in his office. On top of a dental bill well OVER $2500 dollars WITH insurance. The guy was a real bozo! I left that dentist office crying, petrified, and confused as to what to do next! A friend referred me to Dr. Sciarrino! He took ONE look at my BASIC covered by insurance X-rays shrugged his shoulders and said I'll have ALL 4 of these wisdom teeth out in 90 minutes you go home come back in a week I'll take the stitches out and you'll never see me again! Pain? What pain? You see all these medical degrees on my wall! Never mind those! In all his years of practice he's never had someone experience excessive pain or complications from his wisdom teeth removal. As perfect and straight as my teeth are my wisdom teeth were no walk in the park! I had 1 impacted, 1 on its way to being impacted, with nerves going through it. The other two were easy removals. I don't even think Dr. Sciarrino asked me if I wanted to proceed with his services or not he just smiled walked me to the front desk had one of the ladies schedule me in and said see you in a month and by the way get a COVID Test before you come here for surgery because ain't nobody got time for that! I paid my bill in full with the office a week before surgery I was told the cost it would be ahead of time so I planned out my finances accordingly and the cost to Dr. Sciarrino was a little over $1,000 bucks and that was only because of the anesthesia! Most if not all dental insurance plans do not cover anesthesia! I do not like pain or any kind of discomfort. I told Dr. Sciarrino during the surgery prep I wanted whatever the stuff was that Michael Jackson got PLUS TAX! None of that laughing Gas, awake, but not awake, twilight stuff! if I ended up playing checkers with Michael Jackson in the day room of Heaven then so be it I wanted to feel No pain! Dr. Sciarrino removed all my wisdom teeth, sent me home with directions and the basic pain and antibiotic prescriptions! I didn't even take the pain killers. Extra strength Tylenol was more then enough to keep me comfortable I had NO excessive bleeding, NO excessive pain nor discomfort! I went back a week later had the stitches taken out and true to his word I haven't seen him since! The most annoying part of this whole process was I couldn't eat my Sourdough Nibbler Pretzels for 2 months after the surgery while the extraction sites healed. I say all of that to say if you have to beg, borrow, and steal to find the money to see Dr. Sciarrino then you do just that! Dip into your kids college funds, refinance your house whatever you need to do just get to Dr. Sciarrino and do not waste your time or money with any other dentist! It's Dr. Sciarrino or nothing at all!

Patients Beware!!!I had an extensive treatment plan that was over two years, including multiple…read moreextractions. During the final extraction, a devastating mistake was made. When I woke up from anesthesia I discovered the WRONG TOOTH was PULLED. I then had to ask for the proper tooth to be removed. I was lied to about what took place by office staff, and did not see Dr Sciarrino from that point forward on that visit. I was in the state of shock when going back to the office for pain medication and follow ups. Each visit different staff members tried to persuade me that this was part of the treatment plan when it was never documented or discussed. There was no acknowledgment or ownership of the wrong doing. There was an offer made for the additional work that needed to be done at cost. I suffered for four months in severe pain impacting every area of my life. I then had a very difficult time trusting providers after this betrayal. In addition, I've now learned that I was offered, and recommended to have anesthesia at a high out-of-pocket expense by this office when it actually wasn't needed for many of the procedures.

She explained everything clearly, checked on me constantly, and worked with such a calm confidence that I never felt nervous for a single minute. The procedure itself was quick, comfortable, and far easier than I expected. What really stood out, though, was how genuine she is -- she treated me like a person, not just another appointment on the schedule. It's rare to find a specialist who is both incredibly skilled and truly caring, but Dr. Stein is exactly that. If you need a root canal and you're dreading it, go to her. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and honestly impressed. Couldn't recommend her more.

The worst part was that my jaw stayed locked for 3-4 weeks. I could open it maybe the size of a Cheeto puff and every movement of my mouth hurt tremendously. As you can imagine, this made it very difficult to talk. I was out of work for most of this time due to the pain and not being able to talk They tried to charge me for the whole bill and I politely asked for small compensation for their mistake. Dr stein said absolutely not and if I chose to go to court there's no chance I would win Eventually we did settle for like a $50 discount on a much larger bill. He was also very condescending on the phone and unpleasant to talk to. After begging them for weeks to provide me with a fix, a dental hygienist put his hands in my mouth and pulled my jaw apart. I have never felt pain like that in my life and he laughed at me while doing it. I genuinely screamed from the pain. 3-4 weeks of eating mashed potato's and struggling to talk. Genuinely one of the worst times of my life. I still think about it often to this day. This is a very predatory and money hungry dental practice. I have not been to a dentist since that surgery because I genuinely feel traumatized. And THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU Please please please do not go to this practice. Disgusting behavior and incredibly rude and unpleasant people. Especially dr stein himself. If you think I am being dramatic or not truthful, you can find many reviews from other people saying the same thing. Even on the NextDoor app.

When Dr. Matthew Kim started evaluating my teeth, I knew that he was knowledgeable. After the first day of work on my teeth, he was also concerned about my comfort constantly. He even called me at home and offered me his cell phone number if I had any issues. His staff is polite and excellent with financing, billing, and appointments. I'm not finished yet, with my treatment so I don't know yet how I'll look, but I feel completely comfortable with Dr. Kim and his staff. I'm sure that my new implants will come out perfect and I can't wait to have my new upper and lower implants. Dr. Kim is as good as any other dentists that I had for 20 years. My main reason for having Dr. Kim at first is that his dental fees are the most reasonable, and others dental implant fees are almost double, which is unaffordable for me..Dr. Kim makes his fees totally affordable, because he has the special equipment and training to make the implants in his office lab. I am thankful for that. Saving money is very important, and Dr. Kim makes my implants affordable to have. I really appreciate High Ridge Family Dental.

He made some updates to the office and equipment which was nice (so was the old school ways). Yes, the office is conveniently located, yes it's easy to get an appointment. However, Dr. Kim was inexperienced when I went to him. I gave him a year to prove his skills ones he took over. 1) During one cleaning he forgot to polish me teeth until I reminded him 2) I had a gum line filling that he attached to my tooth. It didn't match the color of my teeth (which are in excellent shape and have great natural color. I decided to attempt another practice after the year was up. My new dentist asked me "when did the dentist finish school". As she picked it off and gave me a new filling. The new filling is hard to find, see and can't be noticed by me when I clean my teeth. Also, I inquired with Dr. Kim if I needed to straighten my bottom teeth with Invisalign out of curiosity. he attempted to sell me on the idea and called insurance but I was quite sold. I've asked three dentist since then and they told me ABSOLUTELY NOT. Be aware if you come to this dental office, I'm shocked the reviews are so high.
