Do NOT use able body. We had to wait a month and a half after a collision to just get the car in, then another two weeks to get it back. When we went to pick up the car when it was "done", we noticed several things not done right and several others done wrong. So now they have to keep it another two weeks. read more

Great experience! My car was hit in a parking lot and there was a huge tent left in the bumper. They were able to pound out 99% of the dent, it looks fantastic! Everybody was very easy to deal with and friendly. I feel like the work that was done was well worth what I paid, which was less than $200. Thank you very much! read more

I was in Montana and wrecked my car in early May to take care of my mothers estate. My insurance co. Hartford could not get adjuster out to look at the damage due to him being too far away! They could not get me another adjuster. I had to have my car towed to their "PREFERRED" body shop. Which is Abel Body Shop! I had to go to Kalispell Toyota and buy a new car, exact same car I had. They agreed once the car is fixed they will take it as a trade-in and send me a check. That was great! Over a month later Abel Body shop delivered the car to Toyota and they said it looked like a puzzle put back together! Paint did not match, parts did not match! Owner of Abel came out to look at it, agreed, took it back to fix it, that was June 13th, 2016, said two days to fix it. I called today and still not fixed! Don't ever go there! I will probably drop my ins. too. Horrible ordeal! read more

I hesitated to write this review but I think that with as many frustrations as I have had with this shop, it may assist others in deciding to go elsewhere. I had an unfortunate accident with a deer in June and decided to chose a body shop that my insurance company "guaranteed". Not only did the body shop around a month to "fix" my car but when I showed up to pick it up, they informed me that it was completed and there were oil marks on the leather seats, parts of the car had not been replaced that were listed on the adjustments, the required oil change had not been completed, the paint was not buffed on the replaced parts, and there were large pieces of the airbags left in the back seat. Several months later and I continue to have difficulties with the body shop. They tend to tell me the car will "absolutely not be ready today" and then call an hour later to inform me that it MUST be picked up today. The owner appears to blame the customers with the problems that the shop causes and becomes pretty frustrated that customers notice the poor job on the vehicles. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect competence. I know it seems easy and seems like a good choice. I get it. I thought so too. But months later, you WILL regret it. read more

We moved to the Flathead Valley in 1982. In the past 37 years I have had the opportunity to use Able Body several times. A couple of deer hits, a hit-and-run, a couple of fender benders and winter icy road slide-in. OWNER was SO MAD he told me "go ahead, I have lots of money, LOTS of money" and stormed off when I brought my car in less than a year later to show him what I believe to be defective paint job. Jeff the owner of Able Body Shop told me that it was "new damage" and completely denied it could be the defective paint repair Able did for me less than a year ago. The current defects are exactly where he did the repair on the back driver's side quarter panel. NO other area on the car has this damage, there is no indent as he is suggesting that it it new damage and it is EXACTLY where Able Body Shop "repaired" my car. USAA has Able Body Shop as their "Preferred Provider" and on the paperwork I have the work is a "Lifetime Guarantee" I can tell you after less than 5 minutes with Jeff the owner of Able Body Shop he does NOT guarantee his work! I would NEVER go here again. I feel like I've been totally duped by Able Body Shop and USAA insurance. Do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE! read more

Last spring I hit a deer on my way home and took my truck to Able Body Shop. I had a previous dent fixed by them many years ago. They fixed my truck and even detailed it, so when I picked it up, it looked brand new. I also showed Jeff the owner a small rust spot from the fender bender I had them fix 10 years ago to see if they could also fix it and Jeff said no problem, they have a lifetime warranty on their so they fixed it too at no charge.
