We had just returned from spending the winter out of town. We discovered that the disposal and…read moredrain plumbing beneath our kitchen sink was beginning to leak. I called Plumbing 911 and they were wonderful at first. They dispatched Nick right away. Nick is personable and professional. He arrived, gave an estimate and performed the repair. He also found another leak in our faucet that was previously unnoticed. I ordered another faucet and Nick scheduled the follow up for install. The appointment was CONFIRMED by the office. That evening, my wife went into our finished basement to do some crafting. She found that her crafting machines were full of water. They are directly below the kitchen sink. Since one leak had been dealt with and the other identified, we felt pretty good about the situation, other than the damaged equipment, we had it under control. The next morning, we get a message saying that due to a conflict, Nick wouldn't be able to make the appointment and they were rescheduling. No phone call to ask if we were available, only a text telling us that this was how it was. I responded that this was not good and that we had a confirmed appointment. Their response was that it wasn't a conflict " at the time". They didn't offer another plumber or any other alternative. We were never asked if we had any conflict of our own with the new appointment. We were EXPECTED to comply. No further explanation. I told them that this was unacceptable and if they tried to reschedule again, that I would go elsewhere. They canceled and said go ahead. If you use them, just know that if a more profitable opportunity arises, your business is expendable. Still no direct contact. Businesses today seem to forget one thing, we pay them not the other way around. The sad thing is that Nick is everything we wanted in a contractor and we would have gone nowhere else in the future. But, reliability is key and they have proven that they can't be relied upon. With no explanation given, it can only be deduced that there was no valid explanation for canceling our work.

Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. It was highly professional, including the update they followed up with. I commend you for that. Anyways, thanks for your immediate response. Much appreciated

Now 2 parts that cost 80 dollars to replace they want 750 for which will take 20 mins to install. As someone whose family grew up using sals and I have used sals since moving back to North Royalton you lost a customer for life and I'll never recommend them to anyone. The techs that came out have all been great the management is absolutely awful. Zero understanding and zero care. After dropping over 8k in a few yrs this is absolutely not how you treat a valued customer. The deal breaker was the tech today telling me the wiring which was done and installed by Sals was wrong. They don't stand by their work. Their solution today was 5% off and some bs year membership of routine checking. Avoid at all costs , customer service is absolutely awful. Left on hold to tell me oh well that's the best we can do. Absolutely pathetic understanding of expected results.
