I've been coming here for years and each time greeted with such smiley faces and happy experiences every time however, the past 3x I've come it's awful! There is a new lady (definitely not a familiar face) & makes you feel stupid every time, rolls her eyes, huffs & puffs, her tone & how she talks down to customers. Didn't know this place existed! It's like a hole in the wall! A small shop with friendly, very polite helpful staff. They greet you even before you step into the store and offering assistance. Their prices are affordable. They sell by the pound if you don't need to buy a lot at one time. I wasn't able to explore all around their store but they have a variety of items for pets. They sell live chicks and quails too. They will load your car with your purchases as well. One drawback is the small parking area as they share stalls with other businesses. read more

I recently bought a puppy from them. They were supper nice and sounded like they knew a lot of stuff. My friend and I asked the workers if the puppy had any health problems or worms and they said no health problems and no worms. Before we left, we asked about the puppy papers, they told us that they send the papers to Haiku Vet in Kaneohe. I called Haiku Vet today to ask if they received papers from them, Haiku Vet has never received paper work from them. My boyfriend took him to PetVet Animal Hospital in Salt Lake. They gave us medicine to de-worm him (5 days straight) and re-started his puppy shots. My friend knew the owner, the owner's kids now run the business. Apparently the puppies are not from a breeder, they are sometimes from homeless people who can't take care of them or families dog's that had puppies. read more

We purchased 6 sexed hens in November 2022. We were told that there was a 98% accuracy. Well the hen's got bigger and three of them started to crow. So we only have 3 egg layers. We had to give away the roosters. We won't be purchasing from them again. I did report this on their website but did not get a response. read more

Recently they started selling Blue Buffalo dog food (it's cheaper then Petco, even when it's on sale) and Bully Max vitamins for pitbulls and other breeds(2 bottles for $50). Nice family run business where my husband likes to pick up a specific type of heart worm pill. We love the drive down this side so we don't mind the distance. There is usually enough parking stalls. They are hidden in the corner but you can kind of see chickens in cages. They have a bunch of different collars, food, shampoos, and chickens for sale, etc. read more

We'd drive from across the island to come here because 1) Staff are super friendly and so helpful 2) the service is unbeatable (they'd bring your purchase to your car) 3) so many cute animals to visit and buy (we purchased baby chicks who are now a year old and producing eggs for us on a daily) and 4) they have the supplies we need (and cheaper than bigger pet stores for sure). read more

Found 6 baby chicks on the road with no Hen in sight. Didn't know what to do with them. Humane Society, Veteranarians or anyone else won't take them. So I went to the store to pick up some much needed supplies. The staff there was very young, very knowledgeable and super friendly. I use to go this place when I was a kid. I'm in my 60's now. I was truly appreciative of the help I was given. I picked up everything I needed and it was cheaper than the few things I bought at a pet store the day before!! I'm so glad they're still around. This place is as dusty as they say but the guy who helped me was suuuuper helpful. I have been looking for japanese quails for weeks now and this was the only other place I have found that has them. The guy tried to sell me what I needed, not upsell me on stuff, which is nice. They had puppies, chickens, and other birds. My go to for our farming supplies. Love them cause they have an assortment of feed for animals. They sell roosters, chicks, dogs, puppy's etc. The most convenient thing here is that they sell animal food by weight as well as by bags. They have a big variety on hand as well. Always being greeted with a smile, this is a welcoming family oriented store. Amongst Dad, son and daughter, they're staff is pretty friendly as well as helpful too. When we're around the area, it's like a traditional for my family to stop on over to check out the animals. Great place to start raising chickens. They carry all of the supplies you would need and will help troubleshoot any problems you're having with your pets. We've gotten advice on fleas in the yard, wild birds eating the chicken feed, why our birds might be lethargic and lots of other helpful tips. Very sad to see bunnies kept in tiny wire cages with only pellets and no hay. These are sensitive beings with very specific dietary, exercise and enrichment needs.
