I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, so I went online and just started searching for what my options are in the market. Upon finding Kane's website, I found it to be very easy to navigate through and to see all the options that I could choose from based on the inventory. This location is conveniently located right across the Massachusetts border into New Hampshire, about 12 - 15 minutes away from the Merrimack premium outlets. There is no high pressure sales pitch, where Staffel follow you around and try to convince you to buy a car from them. It is very much a laid back environment, where the importance is that you find a car that best fits you. Everything was very smooth and easy with regards to the transactions and was able to take my car very quickly upon the purchase. I will add, though, if you are a Massachusetts residence, be sure to remember that if you purchase a car here that you yourself need to go to the Massachusetts DMV to get your car registered and to pay, the Massachusetts sales tax. (you have seven days from the day of purchase to get this completed.) In addition, they also rent RVs if you are someone interested in cross-country or camping this is a wonderful option that they have. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Crackerjack outfit, to say the least. Dishonest employees. Illegal misrepresentation of vehicle condition. Promised things that never happened. No follow up. No customer service. Owner Adam hides behind voicemails and will not get back to me. These people are complete idiots. Stay away. I purchased a car from out of state, working with their sales rep Shaun. Before the purchase, I specifically asked about whether the vehicle had been smoked in, had a smoker's car smell, or smelled bad in any way. Shaun told me no, and not to worry about that, so I bought the car, sent a cashiers check from my bank overnight, and told him the car would be picked up two days later. The morning of the pickup, Shaun emails me to let me know that the car cannot be picked up that day because my check will take 5 business days to clear. What kind of banking goes on in New Hampshire that it takes 5 days for a cashier's to clear and why wasn't I told this? And why did they send an email on a Saturday instead of calling me? Luckily, and only thanks to my immediate attention to the matter, the car made it on the transport truck. When I received the car less than 48 hours later, the inside smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. I had a dozen people open the car door, and all of them immediately smelled it. It's unbearable. There are brown stains in the headliner. I waited a few days to see if the smell could be fixed, and it could not. I called Shaun, left a voice mail, and texted him about this. I also spoke to someone in the office and left a message for the owner, Adam. Shaun and Adam refuse to return my calls and now I'm stuck with an awful smelling car. I was lied to. Furthermore, everything with this dealer was piss poor. I realize I'm not dealing with the most cerebral bunch of folks at a used car lot, but this was especially ridiculous. Shaun didn't return multiple phone calls inquiring about the title, their office manager didn't return a phone call about the title, and Shaun lied to me again about mailing the title. He told me he Fedex'd it on a Friday, when in fact he didn't send it until the following week via USPS, arriving 5 days later. These people are liars and frauds. Customer service is nonexistent. This experience was especially bad because this car was for my daughter's 16th birthday, and Kane's ruined it. I traded this car in less than two weeks after buying it. The smell is bad enough that I was OK losing money on the trade. Stay away from Kane's. They suck. read more

Don't trust them! I have been to the shop 3 times in 3 months for an oil leak that floods the inside of the BMW with burnt oil smell. They have no idea how to fix anything! So I've purchased multpile vehicles from this place and usually everything is great- however I recently refferd my girlfriend to kanes and she bought a vehicle that passed inspection and came with a 30 day warranty. long story short come to find out after a few trips there and to the tire company they sent her to the tires are so dry rotted they will not hold air and extremely dangerous to drive per: the tire company and the dealership is not willing to make it right. I'm very disappointed with the outcome and would not recommend kanes auto to anyone. read more

Bought a $12000 car and within a week it was acting up. Transmission and almost stalling. My wife brought it back to get looked at and the salesman(not one of their mechanics) took it for a test drive to see what we were talking about. That's when he told my wife that all Hondas were meant to be driven I've D3 not D, and that the clunking into gear was normal too. Brand new, off the lot they do that, he said.... My wife said that she was concerned because this would be primarily driven by our teenage kid. He told her that the car was solid and he wouldn't sell her something that wasn't reliable and safe..... especially knowing it was for a teenager. Fast forward 4 months.... we just got the car back from the shop after a week long repair. $461(graciously dropped from 600), 2 tows and a replaced gas pedal $200+ (first trip to mechanic) totaling about a month of time the car was out of commission. After a 3rd or 4th lengthy detailed unwanted explanation from the service manager of why he replaced the transmission mount and had to get the cars computer flashed due to it malfunctioning(This is a 2014 Honda... Have you ever had to replace a transmission mount....EVER!?!) And me telling the salesman he was a scam artist and I shouldn't be putting any money into the repair of a 4 year old car! That I have only paid 4 payments on and it's been broken down for a total of a month. I told them to cash me out so I could leave. That's when the service manager said that he didn't want to take my card.... My wife and I both looked at each other in shock. Me giving him the benefit of the doubt, slid the card to him. He said that he knew i was mad and aggravated(understatement of the century) and he was concerned that I might cancel the payment after I left with the car! I was fit for a straight jacket! I informed him that unlike them, I was a man of integrity and of my word. And for them to insinuate that was pathetic. And yes, I did pay the bill. As I was leaving, I said that it was pretty pathetic that no-one offered to split the cost of the repairs, never mind just fix it for nothing due to us bringing it back initially and being told that it was normal by the shady salesman. The salesman said " has anyone asked the boss if we could do that?". "Unfortunately he just left on his motorcycle".. How convenient! The service manager said " I can just credit it back to his card if he agrees" . I said that I would never hear from them again, that's when the service manager said "this isn't the last you will hear from me. I will be checking in and will follow up with the manager".. I just recently bought a car from them, happy with the car and it is in good condition. But they do not care about there customers I can tell. They're supposed to go to the rmv for me, since I financed the car and I'm from Massachusetts. They waited till the last day possible to go to the rmv, and now supposedly there is a problem with the title I just find out now, after I have been driving my car illegal for almost a full week, if I got caught I would get my car towed and receive a hefty ticket because of the lazy dealer. So now my car is going to sit there until they finally get around to finish registering it. I was able to convince them to pay for a rental car and they pay for the cheapest one possible. I love the car I bought from them but I must say I will never ever go to this dealer again, or recommend anyone else to go there. They don't care about the customers at all I can tell. read more

Bought an 02 325CI absolutely love the car dont get me wrong. But the business aspect of this place is ridiculous. The car was listed for 9 grand 8995 to be exact. But when i went to talk about it and go through the paperwork, they increased it to 10 grand. I brought my mother in as a co signer, since its my first car, and she noticed they tried to add alot of hidden charges to the purchase of the vehicle. After getting passed all the bullshit with shawn, you could tell the old man was impatient, and just wanted me to buy this vehicle before i noticed anything. The car came with a 3 month 3000 mile warranty, and when i had a minor issue with it i wanted to get to checked, they kept telling me it wasn't in thr warranty, when i clearly showed them in the writing where it is. At the end of that little fued they say "oh it must have not been covered in our other warranty " or something stupid like that, showing that they dont even know there own warranty. Buyers beware, im guessing others have had better luck with this place, but either way be cautious, read everything, and ask every question. Also take the vehicle to your own mechanic to check it. I on the other hand will not be coming back in the future for another vehicle. The experience was terrible. read more

these guys are awfully bad overpriced car dealers. i would give them no stars, if possible. if i were you, i would not buy a car here. i called them and told them i had $5,000 to spend on a car. the salesman i was dealing with was named chris. all the more expensive cars are parked out front and they show them off, all nice and fancy, usually priced anywhere up to $25,000 dollars. so the cheaper ones at $5,000 or less are parked in the back lot. i went to look at the car being sold for $5,000 (which chris gave me the keys for), it looked good in the photos. i got in the car, it would not start! dead battery!!. i got out and looked at the other side, lo and behold, a flat tire!! i looked under the car, massive oil leak!! i was really ticked off. i went back to the office, told chris all the stuff that was wrong. guess what he said.."well, thats what you can expect to get for $5,000!" what an a... i then said nothing and left. do yourself a nice favor and stay away from kane auto!! read more
