Since all of our homes were built around the same time, I assumed my water heater was also 17 years old and might need replacement soon. After I sent photos of my water heater and the model details, Ti took the time to look up the serial/model number on the Bradford White website and discovered that my unit was actually only 11 years old, not 17 as I had thought. He texted me back and asked for clearer photos to confirm the manufacturing date. I called him right away, and even though I currently have no issues with my water heater, he generously spent time explaining everything in detail. He told me that Bradford White is a very reliable water heater and that this model generally does not require routine tank draining for maintenance. He also gave me valuable advice for the future, recommending that when I eventually replace the unit, I should install it on a metal drain pan with moisture detection for leak protection. I was genuinely impressed by his honesty, knowledge, and willingness to help without trying to sell me something I don't need right now. He could have easily pushed for a replacement, but instead he gave me thoughtful, professional advice and saved me unnecessary expense. I truly appreciate the time he spent helping me over the phone, and I would absolutely recommend Sutherland to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable professional.

They refused to retrieve the items NOT designated junk and sent to the donation center. No clue why this was not possible because good communication skills were not in attendance in any way, shape or form. That includes management. I counted on these people to do for me what I can no longer do for myself and they failed miserably. They lost my Christmas collection. It took me more than 50 years to collect...they took it to the dump. A priceless oriental table went to the dump. An antique wooden, newly painted, porch slider...it went to the dump, too. I am still assessing the losses but nothing will make me feel better. I know it's only stuff to some, but is was my stuff, I spent a lifetime collecting it and it was up to me to dispose of, not some mover with the IQ of a tree stump. Finally, the only thing offered as compensation was some used furniture they had hanging around to replace what was lost. In other words, I can sit on a tack and spin or hold my breath 'til I turn blue. There is no compensation for the loss and no refund amount of any kind on the absolutely ridiculous amount I had to pay. Not even the tip.

Gave Jeff an update (water was fairly clean after uncovering it from being winterized) and he went right to work laying out hose to get the job going. Pool topped off with a little extra for backwashing and filled the spa as well. Recovered the pool after vacuuming to let the filter do its work before adding chemicals. I was impressed to see the large selection of brand-name softeners, parts, filters, filter housings, and specialized cleaning products available. If you need filters, pure cleaning products, or parts, Water & Air Works seems to be a great place to go. While the person at the counter was very friendly, they were not able to answer my specific softener questions (such as uplift tube diameters, control valve waterway diameters, brands of resin tanks, etc.), so they kindly took down all of my contact information, and told me that they'd have Aron call or e-mail me with answers to my questions, pricing, etc. A week and a day elapsed, and I'd not heard back at all so I called again. The same employee who helped me in the store remembered me and said they'd have Aron contact me, which he did, the following Monday. Aron was able to answer all of my questions, and explained that their business model is that they do not sell water softener systems directly to end customers. If I were to purchase from them, they require the installation to be done by them as well. Aron explained that they do so because they're feel responsible for any issues or questions with direct purchases, but if they didn't install it, they may be having to support something that they had nothing to do with. Their pricing for an installed system was higher than most of the bids I received, but part of this is because their system includes a sedimentary pre-filter and an activated carbon filter upstream from the softener. While this makes sense for well water, which is what most of their business appears to focus on, I don't think I need either because I'm on city water. Water & Air Works is a great place to get filters and parts, as well as to visit if you have well water and need a complete treatment system installed. If this is your need, Water & Air Works offers a one-stop shopping experience.

Terry came over that same day at 7:30pm on his way home, even though we're an hour away. He gave us a plan and came over two-days later. He inspected everything and cleared some clogs and dirty pipes. He showed me camera footage of our pipes as he was cleaning. He gave us a monthly drain maintenance product.
