Go With The Flow sent a plumber, ready to work, when requested. He examined the issues we had, and pulled an estimate together in a timely fashion on site. The estimate was not the lowest, but not the highest, but it was the most correctly dialed in to our actual plumbing, and unlike other plumbers, he did an actual hands on evaluation instead of giving an estimate based on an eyeballing of a fixture. Because he was ready to work, we were able to get business dealt with that same day. While working on our plumbing, he was courteous, respected our space, and got the job done in a timely manner, with excellent post work cleanup. I was very happy when Go With The Flow Plumbing initially installed our new water heater On 8/01/2021. Soon after the install, a burning smell filled the garage and continued for the next few weeks. On Labor Day our new water heat stopped working. I called and left a message with Go With The Flow Plumbing but did not receive a call back until the next day. Since we didn't hear from Go With The Flow Plumbing on Labor Day we had to call another plumbing company to install another water heater. The burning smell was coming from burning wires in the fuse box. We were fortunate there wasn't a fire ! We were very disappointed to learn that this Go With The Flow Plumbing is not a 24/7 company , so good luck if you have an emergency ! Had them plumb two fixtures the first time we used them. They left and we saw a leak. They came back right away and fixed it. So far so good. Based on that - we actually called them back for another larger job to bid. But I could tell the guy who came by wasn't interested in the complex re-pipe I needed. That's even though it could likely be done in a day and had at least 3k-7k revenue. Anyway- he left and said we'd hear back from them within a week for a quote. Never heard back again. I've seen this a few times with contractors cherry picking - especially plumbing- where they'd rather wait for a new construction job where there is no drywall in the way - or a freshly framed addition. We needed our garbage disposal replaced, when the pipes started leaking. I chose someone else on Yelp, who could get me in in two days, which seemed okay. But part of asking for an appointment on Yelp is them giving your name to four other businesses. One gave me a quote of $950-$1100 dollars. Joe contacted me from Go With The Flow Plumbing & said he could get someone there today, and quoted me 1/2 the price of the other place. For $525, Mike arrived early, installed a garbage disposal with a 12 year warranty, fixed the leaky, clogged pipe, and was neat, tidy, friendly and competent. A win all around!! Had a leak in the front lawn of a property I own. Called another plumber (highly rated here on Yelp). Their quote: $7K, recommending a pretty extreme course of action. And they were unwilling to offer any other options. Our water meter had a slow leak somewhere so I reached out to multiple plumbers via Yelp. Joe with Go With the Flow communicated back within just a few minutes and was also the fastest to be able to come out and take a look. They used a text message service to provide updates on when a representative was headed my way. Joe was friendly and provided great service. He had to dig out a 2x2 hole behind the concrete housing for the water meter, through two 3" thick tree roots to discover a leak in the 90 degree elbow coming from the meter and towards my house. He replaced the 90 degree elbow with two 45 degree elbows which he said was meant to reduce pressure on the pipe. Joe quoted me up front and the quote aligned with his final price. Pros: Quick communication, fast to be on site, professional service, true to price quote. Cons: (I'll preface my "con" with the fact that he quoted me prior to starting work, I agreed, and the service ended up being exactly what he quoted. Hence the five stars.) Only con I'd say was the price seemed steep for four hours of labor and a couple of 45 degree pvc couplings that the job turned out to need. I assumed wrong in thinking the price would be adjusted down if it turned out to be something simple. Also at the end was a ~3%/$36 charge for paying with a credit card which would have been beneficial to know about upfront had I not just happen to have enough cash on hand to cover it. The initial quote was between 2550 and 2750, to which I agreed. Day of installation it went up to 3000. Since I'm not a fan of cold showers and had a hard morning at work, I agreed. My son's condo was experiencing high water pressure after the installation of a new central water pump. This caused hammering in the bath tub faucet so I asked for quotes to install a pressure valve.
