SO SO SO Bad!!! the owner/manager must be exceptionally cheap. to start, it's very hot in the restaurant The grills don't work - they either burn your food or don't cook it at all They bring two pieces of galbi and 3 lbs of brisket so you fill up on the cheap stuff The sides don't come on the table; you have to order and they are such poor quality No grill changes Expensive. Will def not come back or recommend to others. Stick to Manna BBQ

Such a fun spot for lunch with coworkers! The service was quick, we loved the robot bringing us food. The menu had a wide selection and everything tasted great.

Fantastic food! Great service and people! The best KBBQ I have ever had! I will definitely be coming back again!

Great place for korean bbq in a group! The cheaper Premium option had all the meat I wanted so ended up going with the Premium menu. I really enjoyed the #9 Marinated Boneless Galbi and #27 Gopchang (small intestine). We got the wrong order a few times like the large intestines instead of the small intestines, but that was fine! They had good sides to order like the kimchi, sesame balls, corn cheese, sticky rice wraps, vegetables, green onion salad, pickled radish wrap, and ramen. But I will now tell you WHAT NOT TO ORDER! Stay away from the #37 tteakbokki, it was atrocious with few rice cakes and the sauce was horrible. Highly recommend not getting the tteakbokki here!

Our go-to KBBQ spot especially for the lunch special! Summer and Tyler were very friendly and made sure to check in on us. They have great quality food and they are very clean. We've also come with a party of 9 and they were able to easily accommodate us.

My friends and I came here to celebrate one of the birthdays. It was an AYCE for $36.99. The selection and quality of meats and seafood were great. There was also a good number of side dishes to choose from. Some of the basic bonchon that are typically automatically brought out had to be ordered here, and the selection didn't have things that I like, such as the soy bean sprouts. The rice flour wraps were also thick and stale. Service needs some improvement. We came as a party of 7 that took up 2 tables. Half of the table got their food quickly while the other half waited for an additional 10 minutes before they even started to take our order! Overall, we had a good experience here, but probably not enough to warrant a repeat visit.

Came here recently for a birthday celebration dinner. I have to say I love that they take reservations, there's a lot of Korean barbecue places that don't, so it's much more convenient than having to wait for an unknown amount of time for a table. The place was not too packed when we went, and we were seated right away. They had a wide variety of different Meats some spicy some not, they even had shrimp and octopus. As far as the meat selection go I would say this was one of the better places I've been to. I'm not seen this many variety of meats included with the standard price option. We tried the brisket, bulgogi, shrimp, and a few others. All were tender and very tasty. One thing we noted was that the shrimp was already peeled, which made it much easier to cook and eat. They did have several options for sides, but I did notice they didn't have some options like cucumber salad, that we are used to seeing on most Korean barbecue menus. The sides were where i would say they were not as good as other places I've been, however they did have plenty that were good. My favorite was the fried dumplings and the ramen, the we're very good. Definitely check it out, it's a great deal especially for the variety of meats! Service was also good, nice servers and they did a good job explaining and reccomening items.

Thank you Evelyn and Josh for the excellent service. Always a fun time here with my family. As regulars, its time and money well spent. The food was amazing. The place is relaxing. I'm literally in a food coma as I write this. Be back soon.

The food tasted so great, I love their corn cheese (might be my favorite by far) but our server was not great. It felt as though she purposely ignored our table and we had to ask other workers to take our order multiple times because she would not come by our table to take our order. Other than that, their sides and meat selection was good.

I came here with my husband and 3 yr old daughter. The restaurant is pretty spacious. We came around 1:45 and were seated very quickly. We got the lunch special for 27.99. The food was very good my 3 yr old really loved the steak, japchae, grilled pineapple and the cucumber salad too. I enjoyed all the meats we got, the ramen and soybean stew was cooked very well too. The service was good and attentive. I would definitely come back again if I visit San Diego.

The other day, I got the tri tip sandwich with chimichurri. The order came up quickly. I live a couple of blocks away. By the time I was home, the sandwich was cold. Not lukewarm, not tepid, but cold. But the REALLY disturbing thing was the bun/bread. It fell apart, into large chunks, the minute I opened the paper wrap up. A sandwich has two major components, BREAD and the filler. Can't you have decent fresh bread? This seems to be a challenge lately for the Grand Ole BBQ. A couple of months ago, I got the hot links, and they were served on the most run of the mill, grocery store quality, HAMBURGER bun. LINKS, folks, should be on a hot dog shaped bun, not cut up into small pieces and placed on a cheap, round, bun. I can't decide if this is hipsters, serving food and doing it their way, with whatever happens to be available at the moment, or if this is management saying "we don't care about your expectations." It isn't novel, to put links on a hamburger bun, it doesn't make it artsy, or unique, it makes it look like an afterthought. So does try-tip on a bun that wasn't. And the chimichurri- driest, almost oil-free chimichurri I've ever had, I had to add oil, at home, to be able to spread it. Good chimichurri isn't difficult, I make it all of the time. Make an effort people. Restaurant are closing. Disregarding your customer is one quicker way to meet that end.

Food: We ordered the SOT Sampler Plate and a fried rice. My favorite was the Prime Short Rib. Everything was good but personally I can't tell the difference between the meat I ate here and from another KBBQ place. For the fried rice they kinda burnt our fried rice. It was so burnt that when we tried to scoop up the rice to try and get that charred bottom, it was stuck and moved the grill itself. Service: Staff were good and attentive to when we needed water refills and more sides. They cooked all the food and asked type of doneness we would like our meat. The only time they slipped was for the fried rice. Ambiance: The place is a nice smell of meat cooking. Feels like a pretty professional establishment. Definitely a place where you could bring a much larger party. Parking: This area has a parking lot space and at the time we came there were still plenty of spots.
