I currently drive 45 minutes to Kenosha just so Melissa can groom my cats. She truly loves animals and is so gentle and kind to them. In my house, we call her the cat whisperer. It's the only person to whom I can take my skittish little black cat and not have her freak out and try and claw the groomer. In fact, Melissa is mystified that my cat ever acts out and scratches other groomers because she's a perfect angel for Melissa. I think prices are pretty average compared to other groomers - a little more than $40 a cat. All I know is it's well worth the drive and whatever I have to pay for my animals to be taken care of by such a good, patient groomer.

This review is a little different but felt it was needed to be shared. My dog had injured his dew…read morenail the night before and it was a bloody mess. The next day I had a hard time reaching my vet. I called Head to Tail asking if my situation was something they wanted to take on. Much to my surprise they indicated that they would assess the injury and help with my problem. Once we came in my dog was greeted and taken back for the assessment. A little while later, my dog was handed over to me. The caregiver indicated that they cleaned and shaved the area and grinded down the nail and completed the other nails. The injury wasn't as bad as I thought but never the less, my gratitude can't be expressed enough. The level of kindness and caring was over and beyond what was expected. We are clients of Head to Tail and will be for a very long time. To the crew at Head to Tail, thank you for all that you do for our animals.

You searched your database to find my personal phone number to call to yelling at us & refusing to even allow us to speak. The second we'd try to say anything you'd hang up like a child. Your manager needs some serious training on proper customer service & how to actually talk AND listen to people. Also, learn to properly label your animals. just like the bamboo I called you out on before, that "banana spider" you have in there does not carry the spider morph. it is just a plain, single gene banana. When we pointed it out to one of your associates last week when we were in, he told us "yeah, we know, but we think it has a "wobble" so we labeled it as spider too. That's not how that works! Stop ripping people off & then yelling at them when your called out on it. Your manager needs to put her narcissism to the side, as someone who has worked retail management for over 10 years myself, I could never imagine telling a loyal customer who shops at my establishment multiple times a month, every month, for over 5 years now to never return rather than just accept that maybe my sales associate made a mistake.
