Mhhhm what a nice treat! Me and my bf stopped by Vday, of all the days to try a new acaia spot. It was a nice little suprise when Julia, the nice lady helping us, told us it was BOGO free. How cuteee. I got two bases, the traditional acaia and some kind of blue coconut spirulina magic goodness. I liked the flavor and contrast of honey hemp granola and the combination of strawberries, blueberries and bananas were perfect. I wish there were more toppings to choose from but the flavors of everything were nice. We live less then 10 mins away and I think we have found our new go to acaia bowls. Found my new favor acai spot! Pricing is reasonable. Not much seating inside but I usually take my acai bowls to-go anyways. Stayed firm even in 90 degree heat after 20 minutes of going home. Service was quick even with a Saturday rush of 8+ people in line. I love that they have some preset ones or you can create your own. I thoroughly enjoy this place and am here consistently. Staff is always attentive and friendly. Bowls are fresh, tasty and the 16oz size is perfect. Which brings me to my one complaint. I came in today 3/16/26 and ordered two 16oz bowls and was told they are out of them. I asked why I couldn't get 16oz in a 24oz cup and was told it was because they were afraid they would run out of them. Soooo, I am forced to buy a large because your inventory is messed up? And I still used two 24oz cups so the same concern of running out exists. Inventory mess ups happen, but it shouldn't be the customers that have to pay for it. I love acai bowls. This place is amazing. I'm surprised and impressed IE has a place like this. It's affordable, there are plenty of options, the customer service is reliable, and the quality of the ingredients is consistent. The only thing I'd suggest is to avoid the passionfruit base. I tasted a lot of added sugar. It wasn't a good passionfruit flavor if you ask me. The acai base is amazing, though, so no worries. I also like the pitaya base. This place ranks high on my list of bowl joints because of its freshness, cleanliness, and overall value. There are around 8 preset bowls you can order but you can also create your own with any combination of bases and unlimited toppings! The price is based on the sizing, with the smallest at 12oz for $10 being quite filling--I shared with another person and the bowl left us filled from morning all the way until dinner. I appreciate that they have not only traditional açaí and pitaya bases, but also mango, coconut, and ube dream (which is a mix between coconut and ube flavors). Same with the chia pudding options - there was vanilla, matcha, and chocolate chia puddings and the seed + nuts + granola toppings were delicious and fresh. There is a lot of open room for people to walk around and wait, with minimal seating save for the bar that lines the outwards windows. Upon entering, I was greeted with two lovely servers who kindly explained to me the process of ordering as well as assembling my bowl. If I'm in the area again, I would happily return and also recommend to other friends! I've tried the Cali bowl and created my own bowl. Both tasted fresh and yummy. I do wish they offer more creamy bases other than just ube and coconut dream. Maybe a vanilla dream? Incredibly disappointed in the cleanliness of one of the employees here. Came in today 10/23/24 at 7pm and a light skinned female prepared our bowls. The other employee was asking about my toppings so I got distracted. When I looked back over at the light skinned girl, she had her gloves on, and was shoving her phone back into her back butt pocket and proceeded to continue scooping my frozen base. I watch her scoop my pandan base then grab it with her gloved hand that was just touching her phone and jeans and slap it into my bowl. Now we all know how disgustingly dirty a cell phone is. I was tempted to say something but i didn't want to cause problems. However I'm deeply disturbed and disgusted that she thought this was ok. She grabbed my food with her hand that's now infected with the bacteria that's on her phone and jeans on her butt. This is so wrong. What acai of relief to finally have a customizable acai bowl spot in this area! Having tried them at one of their original locations in Cerritos, I knew this was a legit spot coming to the New Haven Marketplace plaza. Once I saw the "coming soon" signage, I've been passing by eagerly awaiting the opening. Today was finally the day I happened to be having lunch next door with my sister, and we noticed their soft opening sign. We had just eaten lunch when one of (I think) the owners invited us in, but we promised to return later in the evening since we were full from lunch (which we did and brought along our mom). I had tried the ube dream bowl from the Cerritos location, but this time around, I made a custom bowl. I went for the staple acai base and was much more impressed. They have several other options for bases as well including pitaya and matcha. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and my acai actually stayed frozen for a while even though we were siting out in the hot sun eating on the tables outside, so I knew it was quality acai! The owners (or employees) were all super patient and helpful answering questions about toppings, so don't be shy! My mom and sister both customized their own bowls, and my mom was impressed with the ube and coconut dream bases they offer. We were so glad to have returned and supported them.
