Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba
    Steve H.

After a long day we decided to order via app and pick up our dinner. Our drinks and food are as following: strawberry slush x 2 are good, oolong milk tea with boba x 2 are good tea, bobas are a bit hard, Taiwanese sausage rice is better than average, popcorn chicken rice is very average, the fried udon is good. Service is friendly, but they are very busy. Chat Tea has a welcoming vibe and modern cafe decor, plus plenty of seats for small parties. Everything looks well thought of and warm. They have couple order kiosks, a restroom. Food is okay to me, drinks are good. I can see most patron are here for the drinks.

I was looking for a boba tea place I haven't tried and this is one that came up. I tried the classic milk tea with boba and I would say that it is good, but not the best. It was refreshing and the boba is chewy and consistent. I also got the popcorn chicken non-spicy and was okay. It looks like a good place to study with free WiFi. The decor is that of a cozy cafe. I didn't get to stay too long but I think seating is abundant. I went around early afternoon and wasn't too busy, I think after I got my drink and food it started getting really busy. There is the main register and they also have two self serve kiosks that makes it easy to order. They have a wide range of drinks and food. I would definitely want to come back to try some other drinks and food again.

Their pork katsu sandwich combo with fries! So delicious! Love the easy packaging! We brought the food to a Buzzers game nearby. So convenient! The fries were like takoyaki fries because of the similar seasonings, fun & yummy! Food was still good even after a good hour had passed. The double matcha drink which I got with almond milk, was refreshing.....albeit a bit pricey for how small it was, almost $7 I believe? But it really was good! I've gotten teas from here before which were similarly great. However, the food is where it's at! I gotta try the japanese curry udon meal next time too.

I wanted to write an update to my review from a few weeks ago, the customer service has been exceptional. I ended up going back today and let the employees know about what happened during my last visit. They ended up remaking my previous order (Lychee green tea with boba and lychee jelly) and made it 0% sweet which was perfect. The employees were extremely accommodating and even let me taste it before leaving. FYI: the tea was still sweet because the toppings have sweetness already added to them. I also ordered a few other drinks for my family: matcha milk tea, taro milk tea, strawberry lemon slush, and plain green tea. I ordered mostly all of them with less sweetness and my family really liked them and thought the sweetness levels were perfect.

I LOVE CHAT TEA, Not only do I love their other location but this location is just amazeballs, I love their popcorn chicken and their teas are to die for. The amount of times I've craved a salmon rice ball is insane. Amazing customer service and the best place to study and do homework. Always happy when I'm at chat tea. Cause I get to chat and sip my tea

What a cute cozy shop. They displayed very nice anime photos decor. Perfect spot for studying, telecommuting, and having a group hangout. I got iced Peppermint Oolong tea with Agar Boba and less sugar. It was simply refreshing. I will definitely be back and try the dessert/snack. Friendly staff. Great service.

First time coming to Chat Tea after driving past it a few times, and I'm so glad I finally stopped in. It's such a charming little hole-in-the-wall spot with beautiful decor and a really fun vibe. I can definitely see it being a favorite for anime lovers. The staff was very friendly and made the experience even better. It's the perfect place to hang out, relax with friends, and enjoy good food and drinks. I'll definitely be coming back more often to support this local business!

Tea was so good and so was the spam onigiri. Other items on the menu also looked good that I did not try but wanted too. God prices. Staff was nice and quick.

If I'm being totally honest, one of the reasons I really like this place is because of how cheap it is. I payed a little less then $14 for 3 drinks, now a days, you could hardly ever find that. The coffees were a little basic but the milk tea was good. I don't think they are known for their coffee, I didn't try any teas or food but I'm sure it's very good. The lady's were super sweet and worked fast. It's super cute and homey inside.

First time reviewing this place, but not my first time here. Been coming here since 2019 on and off. Management has changed but everything still tastes as good as before, if not better cause there's also more options. My friend and I came in around noon and today I ordered the almond milk tea with roasted oolong tea and green tea jelly (regular ice/regular sugar) very almond heavy and sweet so next time I'll probably request 50% sugar. After 2 hours of studying I ordered the spam & egg rice ball and takoyaki. The spam & egg rice ball was good just kept falling apart at the end. The takoyaki was good too, nice outside crunch and gooey center, I just wished there was more sauce on top. My friend got their strawberry matcha and it was good, but just a bit sweet as it was her first time getting it she got regular ice/regular sugar. The overall ambience of the place is nice and cozy with the anime decorations along the wall and also the plants along the front. There's a fair number of outlets along the wall and free WiFi--you'll just have to ask for the password. A pretty good spot to get some work/studying in (: There are 2 reasons I am docking it from being a five star review. Firstly, there are only 2 tables with relatively comfortable seats, all the other chairs aside from the high bar are like the ones in my picture. And the second and more important reason I'm marking it down from a 5-star review is because the two girls at the front were very noisily talking about customers/coworkers and bad-mouthing them. It was really distracting and if it weren't for my noise cancelling headphones we probably would have left within the hour. It's just very unprofessional and off-putting to hear workers talk about people like that. Visited on 9/25/25 at 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

The service is top notch! The girls are the sweetest and nicest you'll find in a café or restaurant setting. The food and drinks are delicious! It's clean, cute and beautifully decorated. It is an overall chill place to either socialise or get some work done. I prefer this Chat Tea over the one in Eastvale any day.

We opted for the alfajores, strawberry croissant, and warm ham and cheese croissant. First, the alfajores! Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! Next, the strawberry croissant: a perfectly flaky pastry filled with creamy, smooth custard that had just the right amount of everything. It was like a dream. Third and finally, the ham and cheese croissant -- OMG! I don't remember ever having a ham and cheese croissant like this before. This was quite possibly the best one I've ever eaten. This little family-owned and operated bakery/coffeehouse is one of my favorites. I highly recommend that anyone passing through stop by and indulge -- and I don't mean a little... go all out and treat yourself! Parking is weird here. They share a parking lot with a nail salon and the on-site parking is limited and cramped. I pulled up with a spot open. I suffered later as it was tricky to reverse out but I survived. Lol. I guess you can park on the street but there are signs from the business regarding towing, so I was a bit ancy. Not sure how comfortable I would feel if I returned to stay and study for a few hours. Anywho, this establishment looks like its a house renovated into a coffee shop. Decent amount of tables and chairs to stay for a chat over coffee or a study session. Lots of seating outside as well. They also have a shelf of books, but I wish it wasn't tucked away making it hard to access if other customers are sitting right in front of it. As for the service and drink I would give it a 4. Service was friendly and I did get a few recommendations. I decided to get their vietnamese coffee and to their credit, it was decent. I come from GG/Bolsa which has the most authentic vietnamese coffees in Socal, so given this is out of that area, they still have a good recipe for viet coffee. The only thing was I wasn't allowed to get extra ice probably because of their recipe. Their normal ice level was fine. I also got a spinach feta croissant. I did like that they had a variety lof savory and sweet croissants. Although my croissant was warmed, the inside of it was not when I took a few bites. The flavor was also just okay, so I wouldn't get that again. All in all, I would return to try other drinks but be more cautious of where I park.
