They have done a awesome job on my SLK 350. New speakers touch screen with Bluetooth iPod and pandora. What more can a girl ask for . Well let me not for get it sounds so good with top up or down . I can hear very well with the phone using the speakers and people can hear me very well also again top up or down amazing just amazing they are the Pros cuz it shows!!!!!!! Immediately I knew I was speaking to a true professional. He was very kind, informative, and best of all, very knowledgeable about the product and service line. I even thought he may be the owner. Once I got my quote I drove in to have my stereo installed. When greeted I immediately felt welcomed and appreciated. They had me in and out in less than an hour! Who does that? I was so impressed. When the install was complete, the installer Neal gave me a complete overview of how this complex iPod, Pandora, CD piece of technology worked. We have sure come a long way since AM radios!! Robert did a great tint job on my Tundra . The price was great and the staff was very professional . I will be returning for more upgrades.

There are numerous places around so I went with the one BMW and Mercedes both recommended as they both use them (I brought in a BMW). A small hiccup started the process in which the owner (Robert) stepped in and fixed immediately. What I mean by fixed is that not only did he meet my expectations but he exceeded it by a ton (that's very hard to do). Car tint looks outstanding (did both the back and front). I have not purchased anything from this stereo shop. I recently decided to sell my Amplifier and did not have the tools to check myself. I called the shop and asked if they could test to insure it was still operable. They were very polite and tested the AMP at no charge for me. I know some places would probably put up a stink especially if you did not purchase from them but they thoroughly checked AMP for me without any issue. They did an 'excellent' job installing a 3M invisible bra on our 1937 Ford classic. They also installed new Vision Led side mirrors (which we supplied) and put in a new radio/navigation/Bluetooth unit with iPod connection. We could not be any more satisfied. This is the first review I have ever posted on yelp. I wanted to recognize Kar Tunz for performing a professional install in my clk500. I drove all the way from San Francisco to do the install because i felt they were the right shop to do the job. I wanted the cleanest look possible; they were able to mold my dash kit to reduce the stepped look to create a factory looking housing. I am extremely satisfied with the install whereby I didn't have to compromise and lose functions. They were able to install the PAC modules which gained me the use of all the steering wheel buttons. I had shopped around for an install price but always understood that the quality of the install was important. They were able to do the job at an extremely competitive rate. I took my Aston Martin DB9 to them for a stereo upgrade, I knew what I was after but not how to get it, I talked to Tommy about what I wanted, he was very knowledgable and assured me they could do what I wanted, I dropped the car off, they took it apart and suggested a plan and gave me an estimate, it was not cheap though I did not ask for cheap, I wanted a good system, we agreed on the cost and game plan, they had the car about a week, boy did they deliver it's more than I had hoped for! amazing sound quality and it actually came in under the estimate by a pretty good margin too, they also detailed the car as well! Is there anything that this shop cannot do? They are amazing! I just purchased a new Accord and was hesitant to let someone work on it. A dealership first referred me to Kar Tunz, since they said that Kar Tunz performs all kinds of work for them on their brand new cars. I figured if the dealership can trust them with their new cars, they must be good. So I drive over to the shop and it is like car show. There are Ferraris, AMG Mercedes, Bentleys, M3s, and Porches, you name it. They were doing all kinds of stuff- exhaust sytems, wheels, paint, body kits, wrapping whole cars with vinyl, tint , stereos, suspension. It is crazy all the stuff they do there. Seeing these high end cars made me feel comfortable that they know what they are doing. I met the owner, Tommy. He is a straight shooter, no BS kinda guy. Just tell him what you want, and he will tell you what you need. No upselling and even advised against unnecessary stuff! Over the next week, I end up having them hook me up with new wheels/tires, HID kits for my projectors and fog lights, a body kit, some small vinyl wrapping and window tint. I was thinking of getting a stereo but he even knew that stereo problem I was having may be due to a manufacturer problem. Honda did not even notify me yet. He told me to wait to see if it would be resolved with a software update before I wasted money on a new stereo, since I told him I didn't care for the best sounding system, I just wanted my system to sound clear. I am happy to report their work is top notch. I saw some bad reviews here about their tint job, but mine came out perfect. No bubbles. My HID lights are awesome, cheaper in cost but brighter than what stock HIDs would be. My body kit is installed perfectly, and I love my wheels. They vinyl wrapped some ugly chrome trim on my car. I actually tried to do the vinyl wrap myself-It is impossibly hard. Trust me, leave it to the pros. I am planning lower my car next. I will definitely have them do that. Hopefully my stereo works better, but If I need an upgrade I know where I'm going. Thanks Tommy! read more

Kar Tunz Rocks! I had a terrible experience at another car stereo installer before I came to Kar Tunz. The guys at Kar Tunz knew my car and knew what to do. I wanted to replace the head unit and speakers to something more modern in my SLK 55 AMG. They knew all about that car and the challenges it poses and recommended a kick arse system that sounds amazing. I got nothing but great things to say about these guys. Also, when I picked up the other car, I told them that the shroud on the bottom of the car was loose and making very loud noises while driving. It was after hours, and the technician jacked up the car, put new bolts in it, then wouldn't accept a tip I wanted to give him. That is a class act. Great job guys!! read more

I took my car in to get a deck installed and they said they needed to order a dash kit because they didn't have the right one in stock. They told me they'd call me when they get it. Two weeks later I eventually call in to see whats taking so long and they tell me they have my dash kit although they never called me. They said to bring my car in at 10AM the next day to get the install done. I bring my car in the next day and they tell me that the company doesn't even make the dash kit (although they said that they have it at their shop already). So I go home and research the company that they deal with to see if they make a dash kit for my car. It turns out that they do make that dash kit, and it is in fact in stock. Kartunz simply didn't order it. Long story short: I waited 2 weeks and drove to Kartunz twice to find out that they never got around to ordering a part without them calling me and letting me know. read more
