Love Karaoke Q Studio! It had been a long time since I had visited, until this year, I went one time with a group of girl friends, and another time more recently to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday with a group of her friends. Both times were so much fun and the service was stellar! With the update to the Nevada law, minors are allowed to partake with at least one adult to supervise before 10pm. On this most recent occasion for my daughter's party, we were helped by Lucas and Johnny, and they were both awesome! We were checked in just a few minutes late over Memorial Day weekend, as they were quite busy over the holiday. But once we got checked in, I was able to place a large food order for our group and get started singing right away. Our food kept coming out consistently as it was ready, and they made sure we had plenty of water to drink along with our sodas we ordered. With everyone's bellies full, we definitely made sure we got our money's worth for the 2 hours, we even extended our time by an extra 30 minutes because my daughter's friends were having so much fun! I highly recommend this spot for parties for both adults and families alike. Thanks to Lucas and Johnny for making our experience so memorable and for giving such awesome service! We will be back soon.

Great service. Price is right. Good selection of songs to choose from including Chinese/Cantonese. We stayed here for 4-5 hours. Wild I know! Soju was buy 2 get 1 free. $15 a bottle.

Nice private rooms! Good margaritas and onion rings. Only complaint is it was really hard to find a parking spot. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Very clean and well-kept karaoke studio! Korean food that tastes great. Excellent service. I had the bulgogi steak and it was flavorful, but not spicy. My friends tried several other food dishes and said everything was delicious! We agreed that for a karaoke place, the food was surprisingly good! The booths and rooms were nice and cool, which felt so refreshing considering there were several people inside and moving around. Central location in a convenient strip center. The only concern is there was limited parking in the evening, because several other businesses were also open, so plan ahead for time to find a spot!

    Enjoying my wife's birthday.

Great place for birthday parties or any get together! Service was great and timely and the price to rent the room was very inexpensive. We'll definitely come back!

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and got a large room for 3 hours. There were 8 people on the party (but we could've easily housed 10 in our room). They immediately got us set up and brought us iced water and multiple cups. They do have air conditioning (ideal since it was in the 100s for the day's temperature). The attendant showed us how to use the remote (language in Korean and English), but we opted for Youtube to help us find our songs. We got two buckets of beer and 2 rounds of Buy 2, Get 1 Soju. A steal if you ask me. For food, it was sourced from Q Bistro, but we ended up with Bulgogi Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Fried Chicken and a Spicy Fried Chicken. The items were flavorful and easy to handle for light bites. The food came out sporadically, but we barely noticed since we were preoccupied with the karaoke. There were a few issues with the music since we were using the Youtube option, but with difficulty since the internet went in and out. The service was ok, but I feel like they were a little understaffed (mostly because it was a Sunday evening with an unusually large amount of people singing karaoke). The staff was respectful and attentive, just less people to attend the the guests. The plaza that this venue was located in is generally a busy one with multiple eateries. It wasn't super busy and easy to find parking at the time that I went, but on a Thursday-Saturday, I could see people having difficulty finding a parking spot. I'd definitely come back to try out other songs and food.

This is the best karaoke place I've been to. In fact, it's the only place I always recommend. This place is our go to when we want to sing our hearts out. They also have happy hour hours! The food and service here are always on point! I love the food here. The chicken wings are the best especially the magic sprinkles ones. So crunchy and delicious. The other food they have are also good like the chicken bulgogi plates, Gimbap rolls, gyoza, etc. Service- staff are always attentive. Rooms are nice and clean. Ambiance- such a great intimate party space.

Our Yelper friend knew how to celebrate her birthday. Along with our other Yelper friends, we spent our Sunday night singing our hearts out to 90s songs! Karaoke: The karaoke room was a decent size for our party of 8. Across from the table, there was a projector and a TV on the wall in the back of the room. Two microphones, a remote, and a song book were given to us. Choosing and entering songs to play was effortless. The neon dancing lights created a welcoming atmosphere. The volume of the speaker was appropriate. It appeared that the soundproofing was good as we could only hear a slight bass from the outside of our karaoke room when we went out to use the bathroom. Menu: The menu was from Q Bistro next door. Q Bistro serves Korean dishes. We ordered kimbap, omelette rice, dumplings, and Korean fried chicken, just to name a few. All the dishes were delicious, but the group seemed to favor the fried chicken the most. Service: The servers were attentive and accommodated our group well. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. There was a call button that allowed servers to come to the karaoke room for additional orders. When we needed them, both of our servers were prompt to come to the karaoke room. Parking: Plenty in the parking lot. Highly recommend!

    Perfect Galentine's Day!

It has a garage/automotive themed bar with extensive spirits selection and plenty of tvs for people that watch sports. They also had a few karaoke rooms we saw off to the sides, but didn't have a chance to check them out. The staff greeted us upon arrival and gave us a drink and food menu. Since we were not really hungry, we ended up splitting an order of mixed order of musubis--1 spam and 1 Portuguese sausage. We also got a couple of cocktails: Penicillin and Carajillo (with an extra shot of blanco tequila). The food came out immediately and was fresh and tender/juicy and flavorful. The drinks were made in front of us and the bartender took care to make them with the appropriate garnishes--ginger for the penicillin and an added orange peel for the carajillo. I also loved the branded P on the block of ice. Thought it was a nice touch. The bartender apologized for the lack of fresh espresso when it came to the Carajillo cocktail, but I honestly thought it was super tasty. They have a varied food selection, but we were only wanting something small to snack on, and these items were perfect. Prices were not astronomical, but this was definitely a bit more of an elevated experience. Service was excellent and the spirits selection (we perused the backbar and spirits list), which warrants a return visit. I also want a chance to check out the rest of the food menu in the future. Definitely will be back when we are in the area due to the great service and amazing selections available.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

The ORIGINAL LV tiki bar. Old school kitsch, dark, and libations galore. Friendly lady bartender…read morehas been there since I discovered this bar. She is sweet and knowledgeable. She can create all types of tiki drinks. There are gambling bar tops, too. They comp standard drinks when playing. They have their own parking lot. They have bottled beer, no draughts. No food. Lots of conversation and videos to enjoy.

Welcome to Frankie's Tiki Room…read more This Iconic Tiki bar on Charleston Blvd/Shadow Ln on the east side of Downtown Las Vegas. It's the world's only 24 hour Tiki Bar, opening its doors in December of 2008, nearly 18 full years ago. It has a spacious but limited parking lot, bright neon sign, cool outside entrance and even more wonder inside. True to tiki decor with island themed fixtures, tables, patterns, seating and ambiance. Hints of surfing culture, rockabilly and retro. Perfect signature original or classic tiki drinks via their menu as well as full bar, soft drinks and beer. The Makalele Knockout is probably one of my personal favs with rum(s), lime, hibiscus and a incredible blend of flavors. However the Tiki Bandit, Frankiestein, Dr No, ScruV and numerous others might speak to you. I've been to Frankie's a few times about 10 years ago, so it was nice to stop in with a group of buds and share some convo as well as meet up with my oldest best friend and her wife, who ironically is who I came to Frankie's with those first times a decade ago. All tiki drinks are currently $15 and well worth it. You're able to drink, gamble (at the bar), smoke, converse, sway (good music) but limited space and enjoy the night or day away. Seating goes quick at night, especially on weekends, but arriving earlier (before 8pm) can help. Sometimes tables, seats and areas open up faster if you're patient. All the staff, including the bartenders and door guy are thoughtful and personable. We eventually got part of the area that's slightly enclosed with a great view of the entire bar especially being a group of 6 to 8 at once point. High recommend.
