The food isn't great. Just avoid the venue. The 4+ star rating isn't logical for anyone who eats, drinks, sings, does sound, or frequently hits up the nightlife. Lotta young kids and foreigners will enjoy it, but you're better off going to Cafe Moda for singing or Kamu Karaoke for a private room experience. Love the vibes of this place. Dance lights, fans, tambourines, great selection of songs, bar food and drinks. Pretty decent facility and the rooms felt clean, not sticky or grimey. Outdated Yelp check-in promotion. It said they offered a free Korean soda per person but since it's been so long since they had that item, they gave us one can of Sprite, $2 off lol. I was surprised by the songs they did have and surprised by the songs they didn't. They had a few new songs like Sabrina Carpenter - Nonsense but didn't have Usher - Confessions like whaaaat. They also have Blackpink, BTS and New Jeans! Also great selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and American music. A large room was $40/hour on a Saturday night, so cheap compared to what we pay back in the bay! We ended up staying for 5 hours lol. They also have a lot of promotions on their alcohol, like buy 2 get 1 free terra beer, and buy 2 get 1 free chamisul soju. Other than the 20% automatic gratuity they slapped on for large groups, it wasn't too bad. For 14 people and 5 hours, plus a lot of alcohol later, we spent $450. We came here on a Tuesday night and prices were $10/hr for a small room and $15/hr for a medium. We opted for the medium with 6 people and it was humongous. We came here to continue a weekend-long bachelorette party. After the Magic Mike show, we came here in Las Vegas Chinatown for karaoke and late munchies. We had so much fun! For a couple of hours, we just jammed and sang to a lot of songs and played along with a tamborine, and ate a lot of great food, including fried chicken and bibimbap and kimchi. Some of the artists I sang karaoke for included Evanescence, Metallica, Green Day, Nirvana, and My Chemical Romance. Great night, so much fun! Could have been an easy 5 stars because this is my first time at a Karaoke place. I had a lot of fun but we didn't get a reservation earlier than the 11:30p one we had. My friend who is local to the area, knew that's what I wanted to do when I visited. She had been trying to put a reservation for at least a week and called many times the day of and nobody was answering the phone. Their bookings for rooms could be better and my friend has a busy work schedule so I didn't expect her to go in person to make a reservation. So to kill some time we went to the billiards place nearby for a round of pool. Then we went to Fukuburger across the street. By the time our room was ready, we looked at the menu beforehand. I really like the food options there only because I love Korean food (lived there for 2 years) and everything looked so good and authentic. I was already full from dinner so I wasn't really hungry. But I did order some Buttered grilled Squid as a snack (Soo good if you like that kind of stuff) ! And 3 bottles of soju. In general, we had a lot of fun once we had our room. An hour there is not enough because by the time you get some drinks in, you're comfortable and just starting to have fun. It was already late but I would definitely go back again. I'm not much of a singer or had an interest in karaoke at all but it was a nice change. I really enjoyed myself so I wish I could have had more time. More like 3.5 stars. Held a bday party here for a minor. They allow minors as long as they're out by 9pm. The VIP room is $50/hr. You can decorate the room as you wish but nothing messy like confetti is allowed and the tape you use to put up decorations can't pull off the wall paint. Pros- -It's 50/hr for the vip room that holds about 20 people. -Food came out relatively fast, however, I think it depends on how busy the q bistro is (I assume the karaoke part gets the food from next door) and how many people are ordering food while doing karaoke -The room had fans and was cooler than normal to account for all the bodies that were going to be in the room -Bathrooms are pretty and clean Cons- -Although I asked for pitchers of water before I left to let the kids have their time together, however, they were not given any. Not knowing any better, the kids ordered bottled water. That adds up! -Parking always sucks in this shopping center -Entrance is a little hard to find- so many doors that have signs on them to use another door. -The family fried chicken is not the standard fried chicken pieces that you'd find at your grocery deli (breast, leg, thigh, wing). A whole chicken is cut into small pieces, battered and deep fried. You get a certain amount of pieces with your order but the pieces you get can easily be battered and fried rib cage bones with like .5 ounces of meat on it. -The directions we were given to work the karaoke equipment were super quick- like 30 seconds tops. Not sure if written directions were included anywhere- I def didn't see them and it would have been helpful. The handheld panel is in all Korean so I think most people bypass the karaoke system song selections and just use YouTube karaoke videos instead. - Time on the clock starts once you enter the room. Friends and I came here to enjoy our last night in Vegas! There were 12 of us and we ordered a bunch of soju and beer, and it ended up being only around $20-25 per person for the room and the drinks! Great deal that you can't find in California. This place had YouTube, so we were able to freely search and queue songs that some other karaoke places normally wouldn't have. The room was spacious, but mind you it did get very hot even with the two fans in the room. There were some deals as well, such as a third pitcher of beer for free after ordering two and they offer discounts on rooms until 9pm. We wanted food after seeing Twice at Allegiant and the restaurant next door was busy. We decided to pay for a karaoke room since the studio wasn't overly busy. We were able to order after reserving a time slot and food was in our room when we were seated. We didn't even sing. We just played M/Vs, ate and drank. It was a chill but fun vibe. If you did want to sing, they have everything from the classic tambourines to the party lights. You can choose from YouTube songs or their karaoke system. We showed up with a large room reservation with 13 people (10 adults, 2 young kids, 1 baby) and had a blast on Christmas Day. Thanks to the kind and attentive staff that made our family celebration so much fun with plenty of food and drinks. There's a huge list of songs, and it covered all our needs from Korean and Chinese oldies, to all kinds of American songs, and little kid songs too. Not the best experience. Went there for my friends birthday (group of 5). To start off the night we were scolded for pressing the water button more than once. We apologized but before we could explain it was due to not getting a response the girl left the room. I had to stop her at the door to give her my credit card in order to cover the bill. Service was varied depending on the employee. Some employees were nice while others showed they did not want to be there reflecting in the way they serviced patrons. When it came time to pay we were not given an itemized receipt. The guy at front desk shuffled through a bunch of cards they had pinned to the wall and gave me an ID that was not mine. That situation was finally resolved when we realized that they charged my credit card while having my friend's ID on file. The next morning when discussing our night and the experience at this establishment we noted that the total was not adding up. My friend then called the business and that is when a worker advised her that our total was wrong because they forgot to stop the timer? The worker let my friend know that the manager would give her a call back. When the manager called back it was explained to my friend that we probably were not aware that a gratuity charge was already applied. Of course we were not aware as we did not receive an itemized receipt. (The first attached picture is the 2 receipts we got at checkout. Both only reflecting a total. Not even reflecting that there was a gratuity added). I had to then drive 30minutes back to the establishment and request my itemized receipt. The girl who assisted me was very polite when giving me my itemized receipt and showed me the gratuity poster inside the room. (Poster in the room advises of 18% charge but my receipt shows 20%). After such a hassle, I was advised they would not charge me my $10 tip on top of the gratuity and I decided to leave it at that. Personally, there are so many better servicing karaoke places. Set up a gather at karaoke q and we got the large room which was very spacious for 8! They have a buy 2 get 1 free deal which is great if you have a lot of people in your group. We also order food like the soy garlic chicken wings, bulgogi, bibibamp, and Kimball. The soy garlic chicken is the best with a crunchy outside and sweet sticky sauce. We mainly came for the karaoke and they have updated the machines for the room we were in where we could play YouTube video to karaoke which is huge! So you are no longer limited to the songs they have on the machines. We were able to play whatever we wanted and not be limited to what the machine had. However the machine videos were updated as well. You no longer will have random kpop group singing and dancing while you sing. I personally didn't like it. First of all, they don't have a single word/letter on their karaoke TV remote. The dude who was the front desk super quickly told us which 3 buttons to press on the remote. 2 of them weren't working as intented. What were all the other buttons for?? I understand it's Korean karaoke, but they should have remotes with English stickers for non-Korean customers as an option. What's the point of having like 30-40 buttons on the remote if they're either unusable or we couldn't use them bc we couldn't read Korean?? I also really didn't like the way the lyrics were displayed on the screen - only a few lines at a time. It's a really stupid system tbh because with some songs the last line you're singing transitions so quickly into a new verse that the screen is not caught up yet, so you end up grasping for lyrics waiting for the screen to update the lyrics and then when it finally does, you're looking to find the spot you're at right now to resume singing. It interrupts the flow of singing. And it happens more times than you think, especially with faster songs. Singing rap songs is simply impossible here. They're showing you lines 1&2 then before you even know it it it should be lines 3&4 but the lyrics are not updated yet so by the time they show up on the screen, it's already lines 5&6 and you're completely behind and there's no way you can catch up. What's the point of going to this karaoke studio if you can't sing without being disrupted?? I like it when the lyrics take the full screen and then just auto scroll as you sing like on spotify. Then no matter how quick the transition between the lines, you're good. That's how it should be done. Karaoke Q sucks! My first visit was with the old party crew after dinner. Gio got our party of 5 into a room quickly after we walked in after midnight. After a quick tutorial on how to get the karaoke songs playing, we were off punching songs into the system. The song selection is extensive and the search function is by artist, title or number from the song selection book. Gio informed us if we wanted to look for newer songs we should search by title or artist. Great tip. Mic check is on point along with the sound system. Our room was air conditioned well as the lyrics sang heated the room up lol Also, if you booze up you're in luck because the drink menu is extensive and on point. Despite the large room, I though the price was reasonable enough. They had a pretty good selection of songs, but it was sometimes difficult to find the songs. A bit difficult to work the remote (had to call the attendant a few times for clarification), but not sure if that was due to our drunken state or the remote control the size of a mini ipad and covered in buttons. Here is a little bit of information based on my experience: Pros: Friendly staff- this place has the charm of a local business and it feels like you are visiting a friend's house. There is also a YouTube option just in case your favorite song is not listed in their many options. Seating/extras: the seating is comfortable, and rooms can hold larger parties. There are also extra things like tambourines in the room. Drinks: the drinks are delicious and there are MANY options. Cons/personal preference: Location- The store is hard to find if you're walking in the parking lot. The bar is located in a large parking lot alongside many stores. It was raining and dark outside and I couldn't tell where the location was while I was walking under the awning. It may be helpful to have a stand sign pointing to the entrance so that people passing by know where the entrance is. Dietary restrictions- While there are lots of food options, most items are not celiac, vegan, or vegetarian friendly. Small room was only $10 per hour :D It wasn't a huge room but good enough for two and probably good enough for 5 or 6 people as well. As soon as we get there, a lady prepared our room and she even put a new mic cover and gave us free assorted popcorn. Popcorn was good. Sound was good, room was clean, and everything was good.
