Every single person I interacted with, from reception, support staff, technician and doctors, was kind, understanding and helpful. My dental health is back on track thanks to KFD.

TRUST THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. The absolute worst dental experience of my life. I went in for 9/10 jaw…read morepain because they took same-day emergencies. He said I might need a root canal on one of 2 teeth but we can try just "cleaning them out first" and see if that helps. The first issue is that they did not numb me effectively. So I told them I could still feel it. They gave me more. And more. I could still feel pain in my jaw so I figured maybe it's just not going to go away since they already numbed me an insane amount of times, so I just dealt with it. They did not use one of those dam type things that every other dentist I've been to would use to prevent all of the drilled tooth dust water from getting into the back of my throat. So I started gagging mid procedure because it was horrendous. Upon leaving I told them I was still in 9/10 pain so they gave me a script for extra strength Tylenol lol. Went back home and it hurt so bad I couldn't even open my mouth anymore. So I went to an endodontist in Lynnwood because there was absolutely no way I would be going back to Kirkland Family Dental. He told me there was an obvious need for a root canal on the one tooth and he did it with no issues! All in all this entire thing cost me over $2k out of pocket for them to not even fix my problem, in fact they exacerbated it with an unnecessary procedure. So now I get monthly charges for a year to pay for this whole thing, and every time it's a friendly reminder of my terrible experience! Just don't go here.

It's called an Oral Surgeon. I'm not sure why Mr. Hedayati (owner) would lie to me, but he did…read more Thankfully lies are more easily researched these days. My 72 year old mother has dementia and needs an advanced extraction likely with a heightened level of sedation, when I asked the "lead" dentist what is a dentist that can use an IV to sedate he claimed to not know of a solution outside of going to the "University". He was pushing to do the extraction that day and, "give it a try." I asked him multiple times to give him a chance to tell the truth. So which is worse? He lied about not knowing the name of a peer in his field with more training or he doesn't know. Clearly he has no regard for the principles that guide most physicians and dentists to do no harm and do good on behalf of the patient. Dentists are just sales people masquerading as doctors.

She was putting gauze, floss etc on me and picking it off me as they were operating on my mouth. Even as I waved not to do that (as I couldn't speak with the things in my mouth), she continued going it. The doctor defended her saying that's how she does it and that's normal. Inappropriate and gaslighting. Ugh. I had to make a big scene and exit. I filed a complaint with the Washington state dental association and will be following with a lawsuit.

Number two is that both…read moreDr. Nomi and his assistant took plenty of time to talk to me, understand my concerns, and explain options. And the third thing that I am super pleased with is that he didn't try to sell me anything like Botox, teeth whitening, or a package. In the past I've had bad experiences with highly recommended dentists in Kirkland. Dr. Nomi was recommended by a trusted friend who just had major dental work. Today I had 3 very old and cracked fillings replaced and needed a crown. I do not like Novocain. In the past I've found the injection worse than the procedures. Dr. Nomi is magic. I barely felt it. After that, the worst part was the chair. if that had been comfortable, Id give 7 stars. There was a lot of drilling and scraping required and it was fine. They were gentle. The assistant was on top of it all and I liked the repore and respect between them. They discussed what they were doing and they were efficient despite one difficult to remove filling. I was also pleased that I didn't have to listen to terrible office music! Maybe that is my favorite part of this dental office. I also believe they were as conservative as they could be considering my mouth is filled with 40 year old silver fillings. The front desk staff also spent a lot of time helping me figure out payments and what was and was not covered. I finally found a dentist with years of experience, a gentle manor, an excellent staff, and a convenient location. They were able to get me in very soon after my initial visit. I think cleanings may be a little more challenging to book but I'm happy they could accommodate my schedule for the rest. I am relieved. I highly recommend Bridle Trails Family Dentistry.
