I lost sensation in part of my tongue after a dental procedure at this office, and I'm extremely upset. Last year, I visited for multiple fillings. During the procedure, after a numbing injection, I felt a pinch in my tongue, and something clearly went wrong. Since then, I've lost sensation in part of my tongue, causing me to bite it constantly while eating or speaking. This has greatly affected my quality of life. A neurologist follow-up offered no improvement, suggesting permanent nerve damage. Dentists know the nerve anatomy well--this mistake could have been avoided with more care and less rush, which I noticed throughout my visit. Despite informing the office, I received no meaningful support, just a few emails. At minimum, they should have scheduled an immediate check-up. Their lack of responsibility is unacceptable. read more

It is always scary having to find a new dentist and I did a ton of research before committing to Lake Washington Dental, but it was a great choice! First off it was very easy to schedule, everything was done via email which was super convenient for my schedule. My first appointment included: - X-rays - Photos - Exam - Cleaning Dr M was very welcoming, thorough, and professional. I was shocked that she did the cleaning herself, but appreciated the time she spent with me. I was not pressured to get unnecessary treatments and was able to get cost estimates for Invisalign before even leaving the office! I had my treatment a few months back but the great experience deserves a review from me. I lost a tooth due to over aggressive previous veneers resulting in the loss of two teeth ( so far) by a previous dentist. My experience with Dr Moazami could not have been better. She fulfilled my expectations and more. Reliable, no upselling, great work, transparent pricing, no waiting for hours and pain free extraction. To start I have been going to this dentist for 6 months now Some people are born knowing a field of knowledge like Mozart The Surgeon/Dentist has perfect dexterity, no shaking hand here, no hesitation, like if she had done this in a past life. Coming out of an appointment you feel it was incredibly perfect , you never feel anything, you will never find a dentist as gentle. I mostly took a nap during the whole implant procedure with a heart rate coasting at 59/66 ( I checked!) Also I have to admit that dental work usually make me very nervous with most dentists :) I can Guarantee you that you will never go anywhere else after trying this dentist. I can't recommend Lake Washington Dental enough! They are very professional but also very caring, friendly and gentle. Dr. Moazami is a highly skilled oral surgeon but can also do many other treatments. Melissa and Zosia are also fantastic and very friendly. Dr. Moazami is truly an exceptional dentist. Having undergone restorative dentistry every 4 years on my four front teeth since I was 9 years old (I am now 32); I have not met a dentist that is as gentle, proficient, and personable as Dr. Moazami. After having an unfortunate trauma to my front tooth, which knocked off one of my front crowns, severely compromising the tooth structure underneath, I was told by my general dentist that the tooth was unable to be saved and that an extraction and implant was the only clinical remedy. Fortunately, I began researching prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, and I felt incredulous that the tooth was at a stage where it was unsalvagable, even if it was only for a small period of time. After drawing my Google-clinical conclusion, I began researching local dentists with experience performing both extractions and implants, and I took the gamble and scheduled an initial consultation with Dr. Moazami. To avoid using far too many words to describe a simple declaration: The final restoration looks great, the procedure was virtually painless, and my orthodontist even commented on the quality of the restoration. This is a followup review from my initial review on 11/14/2021. About one month ago, Dr. Moazami responded to my concern. She scheduled me in promptly, removed my old crown, made a new impression for new crown. Again, she was very gentle and caring. Today she reseated the crown for me and it feels like a tongue and groove fit. No pressure to the gum or neighboring tooth. Much more natural. I want to thank her and Yelp. read more

I'm only giving 2 stars because the dental assistant and front office girl were really friendly. I had called to inquire about a Six Month Smiles which are very clear and discrete braces. They offered a free consultation and I was really excited to learn about it! Dr. Park looked in my mouth for 60 seconds- told me about a few cavities (which I know I have) and told me Six Month Smiles has a new manufacturer and the brackets are different than they were before and so he wouldn't do them until that gets straightened out. He then recommended me to his orthodontist "friend" in Redmond. I don't want braces or Invisalign- they're almost twice the cost of Six Month Smiles. And I don't know why this information about a new manufacturer couldn't be told to me over the phone so I didn't have to waste my time driving to the office after work. Definitely disappointed and decided to find another dentist for a second opinion. read more

Dr Moazami has been my dentist for a few years now. Couldn't be happier with her care. Conservative dentist with a gentle touch.

I used this place for my dental implant. Dr. Moazami had taken over the practice from Dr. Park who did a crown for me. She is very busy but she respond by E mail during the implant process which took over 6 to 7 month and multiple 4-5 visits. The problem came after the crown was seated. I had pain and swelling around the gum she said it was normal and should wait for 2 weeks. The pain got worse. I came back she removed the crown after x ray and probe around the gum. Something was not quite right but she wanted the wait for another 2 weeks after she suture up. The last visit she reshape the base of the crown using the existing crown. The pain had subsided after the crown was removed and reseated. The pain is gone but a lot of food trapped there every time I eat. I have to floss that area and it feels uncomfortable to have so much food trapped. I tried to communicate with her but she doesn't respond. read more

Went in today for an implant. Took advantage of their deal they had going on, came up from Tacoma because it was the best price around. Everything went well, I am really scared of needles but the numbing shot was barely painful, just a pinch. There was no pain when he put in the implant, everything went well. I'll start with my story. I had been quoted just shy of $6,000 for a dental implant by the dentist office I have been going to for at least 7 years. I should also mentioned that this did NOT include a sinus life which I also needed. I called numerous places that refused to even give me a ballpark figure without first having an appointment, and others that quoted me around $6,000 with the exception of Lake Washington Dental who gave be an estimate of about $2,000 (without sinus lift). I came in, met the friendly staff, and had my appointment with Doctor Park who was excellent. He explained the procedure very thoroughly. From there, my total cost for bone graft, sinus life, implant, and crown was just under $2,700 with discount for paying it in full. This was CONSIDERABLY less than every other place, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Doctor Park and his friendly staff. read more

I am writing for my mom who is 71. Her teeth aren't great to begin with, existing dentures and bridges started falling apart and she (and my sister) have been seeking consultation to help restore her chewing capability. With my sister's help, she started going to the Lake Washington Dental for consultation for implanting the molars on her right side, both upper and lower. A treatment plan was put together by the dentists, and we decided to go with them. She has gone through extractions, bone grafts and drillings in the last year. The implants are now installed finally a few days ago but guess what, she got 3 brand new implants on the upper and 1 on the lower, but no chewing surface and she still could not chew a piece of bread on her right side. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. After months of pain and suffering, bleeding and thousands of dollar spent, she is back to square one, the problem wasn't solved at all. Dr. Moazami is the best there is. I came into her office sometime in September with the most intense pain in my front tooth. I spent the three nights before trying to sleep with no avail and I was hesitant to go into a Dentist office as I was between jobs and did not have Dental insurance at that time. The reception helped me find a plan that was affordable (not their job but they went out of their way anyway) to get me covered so that I could get a root canal done at a later time. I left that day with a prescription for a mild antibiotic and the pain dissipated within two hours. A LIFE SAVER. I have to say: just because an antibiotic gets rid of an infection, that doesn't mean that you can just NOT get the root canal. Get the root canal done! When I came in for the root canal (on my front tooth) I was a little hesitant. My front tooth is crowned with porcelain and I was fearful that the porcelain would get cracked and things would go down from there. Dr. Moazami took incredibly great care of me. She paid close attention to detail as she did not want to crack or break my porcelain tooth. I came to her as a challenge, and she took incredibly great care of me and my tooth. No pain, no discomfort, no regrets on goin to Dr. Moazami. Seriously, she is the very best and I am grateful that she, the reception, and her assistant(s) took such great care of me. I just had 4 cavities filled this morning, I've never had that many at once, and it was sure to be a project, but he was done in under an hour!!! It was the best filling I'd ever had done, fast, as painless as it could have been, and thorough. He even rubbed my jaw afterward! It was a full service experience. As a patient without insurance, also, it was a delight to see they offered special rates, I felt tremendously accommodated. The office is clean and nice, and for me very close as I live just around the corner. I highly recommend to anyone with fears of dentistry like my husband whom I have hopefully convinced to finally go for a visit. While i was in there an emergency patient even showed up and i listened as they quickly made room in the schedule, definitely something I'd want when facing a dental emergency. 20 some years ago I had a root canal on a front tooth. Last weekend that tooth broke off at the gum line. I called so many dentists cant even remember with no success. Dr Park and his team were able to sqeeze me in for an evaluation and then scheduled me quickly(on their day off even!) to extract what was left of my tooth as well as set me up with a temporary bridge. I've was having tooth ache for about a month now. I searched online for dentist around my area and ended up calling Lake Washington Dental. This very nice lady answer the phone and I was able to get an appointment the next day! She explained to me that they would do an exam and if they had time they would do the treatment now that they had patients booked for the day already. I went in and got the exam done Dr Park explained to me that it was a tooth ache from a wisdom tooth and it had to be extracted. I was in so much pain that the doctor decided he would work on me during his lunch! I was so surprised that he was able to accommodate me and actually do the extraction as well. I had called around and most places didn't have any openings or they weren't accepting new patients. The procedure was absolutely painless I am deadly afraid of needles and by the time I finished explaining this to the doctor he was already done giving me the anesthetic! I honestly have never had such an experience at the dentist. I highly recommend this office not to mention the staff was so friendly they actually called me to check how I was doing.!!
