In addition, I feel the office is more concerned with profit than healing. On two prior visits I was talked into cryosurgery procedures, which did absolutely nothing for the small cyst on my dog's right shoulder, left a scar by missing the cyst and was costly. The third visit I asked for the same procedure of removal previously done by Dr. Suh, but every excuse in the world was given why she could not do the procedure because she was "uncomfortable" with it. I can no longer recommend this veterinarian's office for big or small procedures.

She will readily consult with other veterinarians, if need be. My 7 year old shepherd mix recently got into a bottle of medication and approximately a week later was in full renal failure. Dr. Robinson was realistic in her assessment and his prognosis. We decided to hospitalize him at 190 Animal Clinic and hoped for the best. She kept in touch via telephone throughout the weekend, updating us on his condition.Through her and her staff's amazing care (and against high odds) my dog pulled through and is healthy and happy. This clinic is bright, clean and always fresh smelling. The "shop" cats that greet you are rescues that were treated, healed and given a safe, loving environment to live out their days. I'd be lucky to come back in life as one of those kitties.

Dr. Abigail Sturbaum immediately began the referral and we were already scheduled for an appointment the following week with Dr. James Custis. Dr. Custis is a brilliant Veterinarian. He is detail oriented and clearly explained everything to my Mom and me during our very first appointment with him, informed us about the possible scenarios and outcomes with radiation therapy and chemotherapy, and performed a ct scan to determine which course of treatment to take. The nasal adenocarcinoma, according to the initial ct scan, turned out to be localized and we decided that it was in Donny's best interest to receive SRT for three days. For the next two weeks, he was absolutely fine. He was eating and drinking normally, urinating and having normal bowel movements, was playful, and energetic. He was doing so well with his radiation treatments until he suddenly and unexpectedly declined the morning of Friday, May 1, 2026. He couldn't walk very well. He was not interested in eating. He had IMTP and a ct scan later that afternoon showed little tumors in his abdomen, spleen, and perforations in his colon, an indication that the cancer had metastasized throughout his body. Upon being hospitalized, Dr. Custis, Dr. Roman, and Dr. Celk were all coordinated with one another regarding Donny's condition over the course of the day. Late Friday night, Donny took a turn for the worst and Dr. Celk recommended we get to the hospital and make a decision since it was clear that he was only going to get worse. We had to face the inevitability and that, to us, was the most difficult part of it. He was completely normal one day and rapidly deteriorating the next. We made the extremely difficult decision to end Donny's suffering by giving him one final send off over the Rainbow Bridge late Friday night on May 1st, 2026. The staff at VCA Dallas were compassionate and caring. Dr. Celk was especially kind and empathetic during such a difficult time. She explained everything that was happening as Donny slowly took his last breath. They let us spend as much time as we needed with Donny after his transition. I truly believe that Donny was in the best possible place at the time he needed urgent medical attention and end-of-life care. We are heartbroken, and the grief comes in waves.

From the start, she showed incredible compassion and made sure I understood the entire process clearly. As a first-time dog mom, I was incredibly nervous and bracing for the worst. Prince is like my first baby and I love him deeply. Dr. Janacek took the time to explain everything with so much care, which gave me a sense of peace in a very emotional moment. Prince received an echocardiogram during the visit, and thankfully everything came back normal. I left the appointment feeling informed, supported, and so relieved. Dr. Janacek was not only professional and knowledgeable but also warm and genuinely invested in my dog's wellbeing. I had such a meaningful conversation with her and would absolutely return for any future checkups. The entire office staff was also outstanding. They were patient, understanding, and incredibly kind from check-in to check-out. It is rare to find this level of service and empathy, and I am so thankful for everyone at this clinic.

I am extremely disappointed with how this veterinary hospital handled my bird's bloodwork…read more I paid for a chemistry panel, but two of the results came back as zero, including potassium. These results were obviously not accurate, and I was told that the hospital's machine had malfunctioned. Since the testing error was caused by their equipment--not by anything I did--I reasonably expected them to repeat the incomplete and inaccurate panel at no additional charge. Instead, the hospital has refused to redo the chemistry panel unless I pay for it again. I do not believe a customer should have to pay twice for a test simply because the clinic's machine failed the first time. I paid for complete, accurate bloodwork and did not receive it. This is especially upsetting because pet owners depend on veterinary professionals for reliable medical information. When testing equipment fails, the clinic should take responsibility and correct the problem--not pass the cost on to the client. I attempted to resolve this directly with the hospital before posting this review, but they still refused to provide the repeat chemistry panel at no charge. I cannot recommend a veterinary hospital that will not stand behind the medical testing its clients have already paid for.

I love Dr. Meyers!…read more My family has been going to Dr. Meyers since before I was born. He is amazing with animals. Some vets will try and hit you up for as much money as possible but Dr. Meyers will help people with their situations. I had one of the most difficult losses a few years back and they were extremely compassionate about it. I lost my cat of 24 years that Dr. Meyers had been seeing since I was two years old. Well needless to say they are wonderful! The assistant is usually the one that you talk to first and her name is Ginger. She is also very knowledgeable. If doesn't know the answer to your question she'll get with Dr. Meyers. Anyways if you need a great vet I suggest this one with all my heart!
