A little less choice in Far East Asian ingredients, and little to nothing of interest to South Asian cooks. The assumption might be that anyone shopping here is feeding a clan because it's hard to get only enough vegetables for two humans, but the prices for fresh produce are so good a little waste doesn't bother me too much (especially since I compost). If you are single and not Asian, and think you're okay with American supermarket instant ramen, you need to rethink cheap eats and try some instant noodle soup from here. A few coins more will get you much tastier instant noodle soups, especially the ones without good English translation on the packages. Add some of the fresh vegetables and tofu or bean sprouts you get here and you can make a cheap meal nutritious and well balances. I guess technically bean sprouts are vegetables but noodle soups require more than two added ingredients I think.

Their pork belly and chicken are a great deal and I love trying their new products in their frozen section (they always have the coolest ice cream)! They don't have a ton of fresh produce, but their cabbage and bok choy are such a great deal for a huge bag! They also have a pretty big snack and drink section as well!

When I contacted them, they first offered a 25% partial refund and to keep the items. I asked for 60% instead and they agreed. But when they refunded me, they did not include the total cost with the shipping. This was a complete rip off, because it is their fault that they advertised the wrong product and sold it online without checking the ingredients. It's their fault, they should have refunded on the total cost, which included their very expensive $25 shipping. When I emailed them about this, they said that I agreed to the 60% refund on the items, and that this didn't include the shipping cost, but I never agreed to receiving 60% on the items without the expensive shipping charge. This was a trick of theirs. They are the ones that made the false advertisement for the wrong product. It's their fault, they don't get to do things like exclude the expensive shipping from the percentage of the total cost that they are refunding me. I would not order from them again.

You order from the counter, and they will bring the food to yohu. I saw many Asian families eating humongous bowls of pho, and they looked quite good. I will have to try some time. On my particular visit, though, we weren't really hungry, and just wanted a snack. We went with eggrolls and beef intestines, but their sausages and stuffed chicken wings (bones removed and stuffed with eggroll stuffing) also looked so good. Eggrolls ($1.50) I've had some exceptional Hmong eggrolls, so i know these aren't the best out there, though it wasn't bad. I wasn't sure whether they had run out when we got there or whether it's just their practice, but they started rolling and cooking the eggrolls after we ordered them. So it took about 15 minutes to get them. It was steaming hot and good, but again, the flavors weren't the best i've had, and it was a bit more on the heavy side with the cabbage. With this in mind, I'm not sure that I'll try their stuffed wings, cuz they probably use the same in there. Beef intestines ($8) Steep on the price, but surprisingly good!!! Got me wowed! Not for those who don't like intestines, obviously, but I've had my share and these are good! They are a bit bigger pieces and intestines are very chewy, so they can get a bit tough to chew. But they had no smell, flavors were on the money, and i couldn't have asked for better. I did take half of it home, and warmed up on the air fryer and cut them more into bite sizes, and it was even better. Would get again!

The store has fresh produce and meat counter with refrigerated and dry items. I would order the mixed grill that the menu states 1 lamb kofta, 1 lamb of kebab, 0skewer chicken shish tawook , bed of rice and a side of Jerusalem salad and hummus. I love lamb. I thought it was weird that the mixed grill had lamb kabobs and lamb kofta when these items are no where on the menu and lamb chops were the only lamb on the menu, let's go for it. The plate looked amazing and they got most of the dish correctly with the salad and hummus being cold and the grilled meat and rice being warm. The hummus was delicious but I wish the grilled meat dishes came with some sort of bread to dip in it. The salad was minimal with cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce in a vinaigrette dressing. The rice was cooked past Al dente but not total mush with a nice curry flavor and good. The lamb kabob had a nice beefy/grilled flavor, it was not a lamb kabob that I was served but a beef kabob. The lamb kofta was a moist flavorful beef kofta and not lamb like the menu states. The chicken kabob was moist/flavorful with small grilled flavor and the only correct grilled meat that the menu states. Overall the food was very good that I drove all the way out to Brookfield for a specific grilled lamb dish that ended up being a beef dish was very disappointing, I should have known better when the two lamb items were not even on the menu. I don't know if this was an honest mistake or they thought I wouldn't know the difference because of ethnicity or were they out of lamb that day and who knows. I love lamb and I eat lamb all the time. Had the dish actually have been a lamb dish it would have been a 4 star review.
