The restaurant was not busy. Buffet was very small. We got seated and were given water. We asked if we could just go to the buffet and were told yes. The sweet and sour chicken was clearly from the prior day. We could not cut it with a knife. Hard and chewy. Crispy chicken the same. Egg foo yung was so greasy and the grease tasted old. Really heavy and bad. Curry chicken and oyster beef all were hard but less so than the others. Shrimp in the fried rice were so tiny. No veggies in the fried rice either. Beef egg rolls were okay but so large we split one. Vegetable lo mein was nothing to write home about. Just bland. No one ever bothered to ask us how the food was. We waited as we had a lot to say. Nope. Honestly, I could not be paid to eat here ever again. I'm really sad. I've been going here off and on for decades and never had a bad experience until today. Please do not spend your time coming for the buffet. Maybe other dishes freshly prepared would be okay. Just avoid the buffet. I would've paid 50% more for dishes that were a little more flavorful and fresh. If you can't cut the chicken with a knife, there's a problem. read more

This was honestly an insult to good Thai food. We ordered two dishes, and neither one of them tasted fresh. The Pad Thai was a disaster. It was completely devoid of the basics: No green onion/garlic chives, no chili, no bean sprouts, no lime, no cilantro on top. There was no identifiable shrimp, meat, or egg. What showed up was a grey, lifeless pile of mushy noodles with some tofu and ground peanuts. It had some sugar, maybe some tamarind, maybe some fish sauce. The texture, color, and flavor resembled paste. Seemed more like a mistake than a well-prepared dish. The Massaman curry was slightly less offensive. Nothing fresh here either. No onion, it was overloaded with what seemed like previously frozen tiny cubes of potatoes and thin, unappealing strips of meat of which my wife said "some pieces are gross." It lacked the rich, hearty depth you expect from a proper Massaman curry. Each bite was worse than the last. Never a good sign. And the rice! Don't even get me started. There is simply no excuse for getting it wrong. Yet somehow, they did. It was quiet inside and I liked the decor but the staff looked as unhappy as the food tasted. I don't know how this place stays in business. There was no care put into the food at all. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks this is good or representative Thai food. WTF! Second time ordering take out on DoorDash - yellow curry tofu and the fresh spring rolls. The curry had a good spice level (ordered medium spice) and was a bit more spicy than other Thai places I've ordered from in the area which I liked! :) I wish they had more veggies besides potatoes and onions in the yellow curry - next time will try another flavor with more veggies. It comforts me, at the very least, to see recent reviews from other long time patrons of this restaurant who have become disappointed with the direction they are heading. I have only gone to Singha Thai twice in 2026, which is kind of unheard of for my family, considering how much we've loved them in the past. Both times I visited in 2026, I got sick afterwards.. One time with full-on vomiting, and the other time with stomach cramping and diarrhea. Something has changed here, and it's very sad because this has been a West Allis staple for literally my entire life. Both times, the food quality has been sub-par and lacking the familiar flavor we've come to love and anticipate. Both times, service continued to be very cold and unwelcoming, when, again, I know that the staff knows me after we've been interacting for literal decades. The past several times family has suggested Thai food, we've ended up going elsewhere.. And while I admit I've yet to find a replacement that scratches the itch that Singha Thai always did, at this point, it's just not worth losing twenty-four hours in the bathroom. Great selection of Thai food to be found here. Of course I went basic with chicken Pud Thai, but it's delicious. Especially with a hit of fresh lemon. Without that bit of acidity it's a little too sweet for my taste. My husband had Racha chicken that was also delicious. I maybe stole a few slices... We had satay chicken skewers for an appetizer and the peanut sauce was so good! Not only is the food great, the portions are huge. Almost too much to be honest. I'm pretty sure I have enough leftover for lunch and dinner. Our waitress was on top of things, always kept our waters full. She kept apologizing for how long everything took, but I didn't think it the wait was too long at all. The only thing I would have preferred, and it makes me sound so old, was a little more light. This used to be a great Thai restaurant, but my recent visit was disappointing. The restaurant was empty at lunch, a TV was playing, and the owners were sitting by the window, which made the atmosphere feel off. The food was even more concerning. The chicken satay was rubbery, and while the cucumber dip was fine, the cucumber slices were cut so large they were difficult to enjoy. The chicken panang curry was watery like a soup and lacked coconut milk, vegetables, and the rich panang flavor I expected. Overall, it was a sad experience. read more

This place is out of this world. I ordered the Singha Steak and is was cooked to perfection in a gravy with mushrooms,beans and onions! Was succulent! Had the shrimp fried rice and it was delicious. Singha Thai used to be my go-to place for Thai food some years ago. Today I went again with two others to celebrate a birthday for old time's sake. When I came in I asked for a table, and a very glum person brought me to a table while I waited for two others. Zero friendliness. After the other two arrived the smileless waitress came to take our order. I asked a question about the Pad Thai, and she answered as if it was an imposition. Our food came, smilelessly again. It wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. The bill paying and boxing up was similar. No ambiance at all. I struggled to tip, but tipped minimally as the waitress made no effort to make our dining experience pleasant. Tonight before I wrote this I looked at the health score of the restaurant. 85 out of 100. Check it for yourself. If I saw the score before I went, I wouldn't have gone and will probably throw out the leftovers. Singha Thai, you can do better. read more

Singha Chicken, Singha Spicy Catfish, Mee Krob salad and, were all excellent again tonight.

I have driven past this for ever so I decided to stop over for lunch because I don't do Thai that often and honestly this is the only Thai place that I know with out looking one up. The place was empty except for two tables on the Sunday lunch hour which concerned me. The place is nice looking on the inside for a strip mall restaurant with lots of plants and dark woods with a huge mirror making the place look spacious. I decided to get an order of egg rolls and Rama beef. Rama beef is thin sliced beef and broccoli stir fried with a curry peanut sauce. The egg rolls were dripping in oil, see my pictures with a thin crispy shell and tasty with mostly rice noodles and maybe shredded pork, I couldn't tell because all I could taste was the rice noodles but tasty. The orange sauce was sweet, sour with a tangy/sharp finish and good. I love peanut butter egg rolls but I can't find them anymore so the Rama beef sounded good. The presentation of the Rama beef was nice because it had a ring of broccoli around the plate and the beef and sauce in the middle. The broccoli was cooked perfect with some crunch left in them while the beef wasn't tender at all and somewhat chewy but good. There was something very satisfying in the curry peanut sauce with the beef and broccoli I will say. Overall I had no service issues and my lunch was very good and how have I lived down the street for 11+ years and never stopped. read more

I went to this place about a month ago to celebrate our friend's birthday. People of Milwaukee: this restaurant is a hidden gem! I live in northern Illinois and have been to several Thai restaurants in the Chicagoland area. This place was impressive and delicious and they give very generous portions unlike many of the restaurants in or near Chicago which tend to control the size of the portion. Starting with the appetizers, this restaurant makes a tasty egg roll. The other appetizers we got were the shrimp rolls and the potstickers. The shrimp rolls weren't what we were expecting but tasted okay. We thought they were going to look like something from a Chinese dim sum restaurant. The potstickers were average tasting but nothing special. They tasted like potstickers that I have purchased from Asian grocery stores at times. The entrees were very tasty and flavorful especially the Pad Thai. It tasted like they use coconut milk which made it creamy and sweet. Pad Woon Sen is one of my favorite noodle dishes and I was so pleased to see that they didn't ruin it by putting broccoli in there. We ordered the Singha fried rice which surprisingly had a nice flavor. Last we ordered the BBQ pork noodle which there are two versions of. We ended up with the Bahmee Mudang which was good but my wife and friend were not able to eat it because it was too spicy for them and made her sick. Needless to say, I definitely recommend this place. There are pretty good reasons why this place has been around for 34 years. read more

The pad thai was enormous and my friend really enjoyed it. There were at least two meals to be had from it. My noodles were amazing - flavorful and comforting. I also has enough for two generous meals. The curry I had ordered for lunch for the next day. I didn't love it, to be honest. It was overly mild, but lacked the richness some curries have. Pleasantly surprised by this place. We wanted Thai on the 4th of July after shopping at Mayfair Mall. My BFF lives in Milwaukee and I'm visiting her. Lots of Thai and some Chinese seeming dishes and just when you think you've decided, a list of at least 20 chef specials are on the back page along with the desserts and drinks. I was intrigued by all the dishes with collard greens. There are appetizers, salads, soups and a noodle section, fried rice section and then stir fry section. There had to be over 100 dish choices. Can't go wrong with a Thai iced tea, my friend had the Thai iced coffee. In the end, we both wanted something with a good amount of veggies but not a stir fry/rice. We both went with the classic pad woonsen. Bean thread noodles, chicken, shrimp and a good amount of veggies including onion, carrots , celery and pea pods and they scramble an egg in there. As we waited we had the "crab puffs" which of course were crab Rangoon. Best I've had! Large, 8 pieces and much cream cheese inside. I forgot to take a pic! We ask each had a Thai egg roll which were a decent size and delicious but a little greasy. I would not order them for carry out. The has smooth rice paper wrap and they were stuffed with veggies and bean thread noodles and what was probably a little ground pork. Our pad woonsen arrived ridiculously fast. Let me first say , while I post a number of positive reviews this is the first negative review I have ever submitted . We have been going to Singha Thai for more than 20 years , was one of our favorite Asian options . Had lost track and went for carry out. First option was a spring roll , I have eaten many of these and are typically served with a peanut sauce and rolled in rice wrap . The spring rolls here are served on kind of a thin tortilla wrap , my wife and I each took a bite and said at same time that they were dry and tasteless . Next was Thai Pud Prik , was so salty that after we each had a bite the dish was tossed . Last was one our past favorites Chicken Peanut Sauce , was best of all options but less than memorable . One of my favorite Thai food restaurants! Me and my roommate ordered take out and it was delicious. We got an order or pad thai with chicken, the veggie pad see ew and an order of egg rolls. The pas thai was so good (per usual). There was a ton of chicken and their baked tofu is so crispy! The sauce was good but I wish there were a little more but the noodles, green onion and cabbage made it better! The pad see ew was awesome, super salty and the sautéed veggies were seasoned perfectly! And the egg rolls are always my favorite! So crispy and the clear noodles are to die for. For ordering delivery while the snow storm is just starting, it came pretty quick and our driver was nice enough to drop it off at the door! In town for work and was in the mood for some Thai. Found this place, not to for from hotel. In a neighborhood looking area of town, small strip mall. Immediate greeting at the door. The lady found me a nice table. It's Tuesday, early evening, and the place had a few customers eating. This was a good sign. The waitress was very helpful in helping me pick something interesting and good. The plate arrived and the look and smell was awesome. This was for one person so the amount of food was enough for two. A huge plate of spicy chicken and vegetables was just waiting to be attacked. The taste was spot on. Plenty of veggies, chicken, rice, and sauce. Iput a good dent in the whole meal. I wished i could pack a Doggie bag but i was leaving the next morning. This place was quite nice with good food. Yummy! The Bf and I love Thai food and there really aren't a lot of Thai places in the Milwaukee area. We did a search and found a place we wanted to try. It's located in a random strip mall with interesting other businesses. We walked in and I instantly loved the decor. The little details and place mats and wall art were all super cute. We sat down and were served right away. Service was excellent. We were checked on, our teas/waters were refilled and the waitress asked how we were. She was super friendly and brought out our food quickly. The food was delicious! It was on par and authentic for Milwaukee. Don't be fooled by its auto mall location. This is one of the best Thai places in Wisconsin. The seafood basket dish, although boring in name, is one of the best classic Thia dishes I've ever had, and their pud see ew is gloriously tasty. Once dining in is back again, the restaurant's decor is also a treat for the eyes, with lots of interesting and beautiful Thai ornamental pieces, throughout. read more

The best part for me was the crab puffs - I literally ate almost the whole order by myself! Since then I keep thinking about them and trying to find substitutes but other restaurants just aren't as good! Came in for lunch on a weekend. Ambiance was warm and cozy. Service was acceptable and our dishes were similar. Usually I do not like to be too critical with my feedback but In this case I had higher expectations since the establishment is not new. Thai food in general is associated with the freshness of the produces and the contrasting spices used to marry the two. Unfortunately that was lacking here and granted their time of operation these details could have been ironed out. read more

Hue mai cauhp? (Are you hungry?) Thai buffet? Wat Wat Wat? I know. This is news to me as well. We came really early 11:00 for for lunch birthday celebration for my brother. First thing I noticed was the beautiful Thai artwork decorations and sculptures on the walls the tables. They were thoughtful to put us near the back room as we had a 1yr old baby. With special needs (peanut and egg allergies). The server asked us to join him at the buffet and he explained which of the foods she could eat. I was really surprised with the garlic shrimp rice and chicken wings, very good flavor. Along with the jalapeño pepper steak. The quality of this buffet is just the right size to ensure fresh choices. My only three complaints was a few of the egg rolls were were mixed with the fresh ones getting close to past due "un-fresh taste" not awful, but if you make your own egg rolls? You can tell the difference between made today and made before and reheated. And EFY egg foo young? Not very Thai but I'm guessing some one likes this. I am just not a fan of EFY. Ask me some other time it's kind of a long story. Our server was very good at checking on us for water and clearing plates he was friendly along with the other staff greeting the little one. This is located in a strip shopping center plenty of parking and a nice neighborhood to walk around after getting your fill. Food: 4 star I think the staff should be required to taste test food for quality before putting things out there for customers. For example egg rolls were off tasting.
