Sold my elderly father a lemon truck! ONE day after purchasing it he needed a new battery ,alternator ,two tire sensors and a oil sensor. The electric door locks don't work, windshield was blown out and ,it wasn't even cleaned/detailed. They could care less and just stated sold "as is" they wouldn't look at the receipts that totaled up to $900!! absolutely terrible. They were all kind and friendly until I asked to be reimbursed for a safety repair which state laws support buyers with making sure the vehicle is safe to drive. they stated yelling and screaming and slammed the door in my face refusing to reimburse for the brake repair. the rear brakes were so bad that the rotors were digging into the discs. I had to have the vehicle towed to the nearest shop. luckily Rob and Eric at Fircrest automotive repair was able to help make the vehicle safe to drive. They also informed me of the state laws that enforce used car dealerships to ensure the vehicles that they sell must be safe to drive on the road. I'm not stopping informing the public about my experience until I am reimbursed for the repairs on the basic safety features of the vehicles. The crew was very nice and professional. I originally test drove a different car than what I got, but when Shannon realized I was worried about some of the issues the car had he let me know that there was a newer car that was similar to the car I was looking at. Shannon also called his mechanic and scheduled a time to look at the car I was worried about to make sure it worked for the next person. Even after I bought a car from them, they refunded me some of the money I spent on registration when I picked up my plates. Was sold a previously stolen jeep that had, had it's ignition broken off and jb-welded back on, it fell off in my hand with the key In it. This caused a number of electrical problems. When I brought this up the the owner of this place he said not his problem. As is I get it but this is a little excessive he knew it was bad and sold it to me without full diclosure. read more

Did quite a bit of research prior to making this purchase and they were extremely reasonable and fair. So much so that I couldn't even justify trying to negotiate the price any lower. They were not at all pushy and they purposely left the truck stone cold so I could get an honest feel for a cold start with the engine. They let me take my time and check out the truck by myself for as long as I wanted without hovering over me and pushing me to make a decision. The test drive was great and he encouraged me to take it out on the highway and on hills to make sure everything worked smooth and properly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, fairly priced vehicle. read more

Got a pickup that I love, and the Karhu's crew seemed like good people. Shannon spent a few hours with me. I was hoping to leave a 5 star review, but unfortunately the truck nearly overheated within 20 mins of my drive off the lot. I do believe that he knew about the leaking radiator because he asked to drive with me and was constantly monitoring the gauges when I insisted that I bring it up to speed on the freeway before buying. $1200 between that and ball joint stuff, plus $700 on tires that needed replacing sooner than I thought (flat the next day), something that a preinspection would have caught. Called to simply voice my feelings and he got crazy defensive...hmm. I'm still stoked on the truck, and can't know anything for certain, but I personally can't vouch for these guys being more honest than any other used car lot. Vibe is good, but definitely get a preinspection if you can! read more
