Potatoes: -3 stars: standard red potatoes; not large but not small. They were bland and clearly not cooked in the same pot as the crawfish or at least not nearly long enough. Service: -5 stars: live music and a nice outdoor seating area. Staff was friendly and quick. That thing is big enough for 4 people (or 3 very, VERY hungry people)! They had already brought out the plates (actually large platter, not side plates) with rice & beans on either side and lettuce, pico, sour cream and guacamole down the center. Then this HUGE cast iron fajita skillet came out. It had 2 steaks, a butterflied chicken breast, a huge pile of shrimp, a huge pile of carnitas (tender pork), and a pile of chorizo on the end. Under that was cheese. (You will want to dig that fried cheese of the skillet, believe me). Piled on top was a couple grilled jalapeños, sprigs of cilantro, slices of tomato, and some lime wedges. We had also ordered a large (and it was huge) cheese dip that we ate with chips while waiting on the parrillada. We poured the rest of the cheese over the fajitas. We had a full to-go plate of just the skillet leftovers. Had we decided to take the rice, beans, and extras, we would've definitely had another full box of leftovers. This parrillada was about $43.
