    Birria Pizza

Saw this place on TikTok and tried it out, we've been all over the area and never heard of this spot and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible! The birria pizza is to die for and can feed 3-4 people. Burritos were awesome and tacos are authentic as they get. Must try!

Came here on our way to Laughlin. Saw a few videos and decided to give it a try. Definitely didn't disappoint. They have a large menu, so there's something for everyone . The first time around I got the quesabirria tacos, my daughter got the pupusas and my husband got a lengua burrito. Everything was delicious to the point where my daughter asked to come back before we left for home. The 2nd time we came we got the sopes w/ carnitas, the pupusas again and some tacos de lengua. Oh and my daughter asked for pupusas to go cuz she said they were really delicious!! Once again it didn't disappoint. Everything tasted good . The staff is amazing! My husband was really enjoying the music they had on. Can't wait to go back.

First time here .. menudo was good my husband LOVED it. The reason for the 4 stars the place is absolutely filthy. It NEEDS A COMPLETE DEEP CLEAN. I understand it a hole in the wall , but it doesn't have to be SO dirty .

I dropped by for breakfast the other morning in search of the best Chilaquiles around. I ordered the ones with red sauce and eggs scrambled. It was delicious! I'll be back to try some other dishes. It is a small cozy place with a small patio as well. Service was fast and friendly for me.

Their food is delicious they have some killer taquitos, tamales and more. It's a small location but super comfortable and friendly. The wait time is quick and you have to try their aguas also lol overall it's a dam good place.

This was a great stop!! The building has no sign outside, but the tables were full of local worker types on a Monday at lunch time. I had the cubana torta and it was outstanding! All the flavors melded so well, it was huge, fresh bread, fresh veggies. The hotdog was bacon wrapped inside the torta, all things done right here!! If you are looking for high class/fancy this is not your place but if you want good Mexican food this is your spot! We also had a super burrito it was HUGE not as much flavor as the Cuban but still so good, the beans and guacamole are so smooth and pull the whole thing together. Also had a horchata that was delicious, cold, cinnamon and refreshing. Also star was friendly and helpful. Pricing was reasonable for the amount of food you get, we could have split one meal

We stopped by to grab some breakfast before exploring Bullhead City. Karina's is small and what's considered a "hole in the wall" spot. However, never judge a book by it's cover! There's also outside seating and the view of the desert hills was gorgeous!! The variety of salsas at the salsa bar was good but did not have enough heat so they gave me a grilled jalapeno which gave my food the heat I'm always looking for! Yum! The food was delicious and legit!! We ordered a machaca burrito to share, 2 carne asada tacos, and a horchata. The food was made fresh and seasoned well. Tacos were made w yellow corn tortillas which gave it a more authentic taste. The real winner here though is their HOMEMADE horchata!!!! It was so good we had to get a refill before leaving. Definitely would come back to try other items when we retuen to the area.

definitely make the drive here if you're staying in Laughlin, NV. it is a tiny hole in the wall but the food is sure worth it if you're in the mood for something that isn't burgers and fries. i had the steak breakfast burrito on a sunday around 3pm. it is an odd time to eat but the place was full, with lots of people also coming by for pick-up orders. i'd definitely come back during my next visit!

A bunch of quesabirrias, chilaquiles, and shrimp and steak plate.

The food was delicious. We ended up ordering Chorizo Breakfast Burritos, Quesabirria Taco, Asada burrito with Rice and Beans, and Asada Tacos. Burritos were BIG, I was not expecting them to be that size so I was pretty full about half way!!! The asada was DELICIOUS, the meat was soft and well seasoned...quesobirria was good too and the consomé was good once you added lemon and hot salsa. The only reason I took a star off was because the wait time was BAD, my parents got there about 5 minutes before we did and once we got in line there was 2 people ahead of us and we waited over 1/2 an hour to get our food once we ordered. Place is small so I kinda get it, but still it felt like other people got there food much quicker than we did.

    Fish Taco

Hidden Gem! Looking for tasty Mexican food Karina's is the place. Small but packed with flavors. From the salsa with chips, to the homemade chili oil. I recommend the shrimp and fish tacos. The tortillas taste fresh. The juices are refreshing. Stop by and check it out.

We're leaving out of town and wanted to get breakfast before we got on the road looked at yelp and found this place had a lot of good reviews and I'm so glad that we stopped. The customer service was great. We did sit outside because we were all kind of choking a little bit from the chili that they were making, but it was a nice day so that was OK very clean , The food was delicious. Great portions presentation was great It was really a hidden gem.

As far as I am concerned, this is the best Mexican food on either side of the Colorado. Starting with the freshly made corn and flour tortillas (I usually eat flour tortillas, but at El Charro, I will choose corn tortillas 99.9% of the time.) The chips are terrific with two salsas brought to the table. The Choriqueso is a cheesy deliciousness. I am not really a pozole fan, but here, it is very good and really has an awesome taste. I always get their menudo. Lots of honey comb and a good ratio of corn to meat. For me, the fact that I can get pata is great because it is becoming harder to find many restaurants that will provide you with that delicacy. I always alternate between their different tacos and this time I got a tripa taco. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is great here. Well fried and crispy and with their hotter salsa spread over it, with fresh tortilla, I am in heaven. From my first trip to this restaurant, I have always loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It truly feels like a great little Mexican restaurant and I am happy to see they have expanded. I envy all you folks who live in Bullhead City and have easy access to this restaurant. I live in Phoenix and no trip to Laughlin is complete without a stop to El Charro.

When we politely asked why, we weren't given an explanation--just repeatedly told that we couldn't bring it in. We were confused and even debated whether we wanted to stay. I eventually asked another staff member, who kindly explained the reason behind the policy. Once it was explained, we completely understood and were fine with it. A simple explanation from the beginning would have made all the difference. The rest of our experience was wonderful. Our server was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything throughout our meal. The food was also delicious, and everyone in our party really enjoyed it. The place looked great except for the restroom trash can was overflowing with paper towels, maybe invest in a bigger trash can if you have that much foot traffic However, toward the end of dinner, we noticed another family with a child who had a water bottle at their table. That left us confused all over again. If the policy applies to everyone, it should be enforced consistently. If there are exceptions, those should be communicated clearly. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but the inconsistent handling of the water bottle policy left us with mixed feelings.

We had a hard time finding anything that tasted fresh. Most of the food was either fried or heavily covered in sauce, and there weren't many lighter or freshly prepared options. The hibachi station was especially disappointing because it was out of meats every time we went back, making it difficult to actually enjoy one of the main attractions of the restaurant. While the prices are relatively inexpensive, I still felt it was expensive for the quality of the food we received. In the end, none of us ate very much, and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner afterward. The customer service was perfectly fine, and the staff was courteous. However, one thing that really stood out in a negative way was a young man handling food who had extremely long fingernails on both hands. That's simply not something I want to see from someone preparing or serving food I'll be eating. I hope they improve the freshness of the food and keep the hibachi station consistently stocked, because the restaurant has potential. As it stands, though, it just wasn't an experience our family would repeat.

The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.

The first night we got there, we went to one Sushi place called "The Sushi Spot" that was just awful. On our last night, we decided to look for another Sushi place, and we thought this place looked more decent and came here. We wanted just a booth and not the food show, and we got a booth. I noticed the music was very loud; I have never seen a sushi place have the music this loud and playing '80s music. I couldn't even hear the waiter. Their menu also looked so weird, and so much stuff looked the same. The waiter talked really fast. I asked the same question, and so did my friend: what was the deal with the Sushi and Sashimi 3 piece was? He told us two different versions of what it was, and neither made sense. I asked about the Bento box, something I have ordered at many other Sushi places in LA. I asked how the beef was done; he said is shaved beef. I have never even heard of shaved beef in a Sushi place?. I told him all the Bento box beef was BBQ and grilled, and he said not this one. My friend ordered the Bento box with salmon, and his was semi-decent, but the fish was very oily, deep-fried in hot oil. I waited and then ordered the Mahi Mahi, but I didn't understand what it comes with; he said that one is grilled. The food took a while to get there and when it came, it was really awful. The fish was so tiny; the sides were steamed rice and regular pasta and some vegetables that looked came out of a can. I ate the fish and some of the rice, but the pasta was disgusting. I pushed my dish to the side to be removed. This was the second Sushi place we went to in Bullhead City, and it was very disappointing. There is nothing worse than bad food served by a rude, arrogant waiter, I rarely write food reviews, but avoid this place, this is not a real Sushi place. If you want to eat great food, then go to a place called SaltGrass inside the Golden Nugget; the best food and atmosphere with a great view of the Colorado river. That was the best place we ate in Bullhead City.
