I've passed it hundreds of times but never stopped in because it didn't appear to be a "hole in the wall type restaraunt" and so I finally took a chance and I'm glad I did. At the opposite end of the parking lot I found a shaded parking spot and swooped in (It was 110 degrees outside) I was seated right away and served my complimentary chips and salsa. First thing I noticed was that the chips were made in house and were still warm (not the store bought varieties that are becoming all too common) The decor lent to a good Mexican vibe but the in house music didn't match the overall vibe. Was not Mexican music at all and sounded like a teenage girl made the musical choice. Then came the food. I ordered a 2 chile relleno combination plate with rice and beans and it didn't disappoint!! 2 giant chile rellenos stuffed with cheese and even more cheese on top. And rice and refried beans that covered my entire giant oval sized plate. I ate my chips and salsa quickly and was brought another portion before my food arrived. I finally gave this family owned business a try. Mom was serving and dad was in the kitchen cooking. Nice traditional decor inside with plenty of parking and seating. I was greeted by everyone! I ordered the chile verde and it was delicious. The pork was tender and lean, the way I like it. The green sauce was very good. Service was excellent and included chips and salsa. Went here for my nieces graduation excited to celebrate her but it was difficult with the waitress we had. She was so rude and acted as if we were a bother to her. She felt it was okay to talk down to us or talk over us when we tried to ask a question. The girl at the front made it clear to my little niece that she could not bring in her own "outside" drink. It was an empty apple juice she was going to throw away. How about I'm sorry we don't allow outside drinks. We were visiting family in Bullhead and dined here with them. So glad we did. The restaurant was clean and not too noisy even though it was busy on a Sunday late afternoon. The food tasted great. It is probably considered somewhat "Americanized", but that is not a bad thing snd they also had more authentic items. Hubby had the taco salad and said it was one of the best he has had. I tried a bite and it was very good . The shell was taller than any I have ever had and it was light without being too messy...always some mess when you order a taco salad. Our first time here. You'll notice it's pretty loud the second you step in. Not too loud, but noticeable. We are greeted and ask for drinks, which we get quickly. We order and get our chips and salsa right after. The salsa is a medium, so perfect for me. In 14-minutes we get our food and it is colorful and smells great. It has been a long time since I had the whole fish. Glad I got it here. It is smoking hot, crunchy and well seasoned. It's basically like eating fried chicken but it's a fish. Most the bones are course enough to remove so you get great pieces of crunchy fish. Very good. My wife loved the rancheros, plenty of sauce and great on a tortilla. The thing that surprised me, is this place serves everything. I was thinking a nice burger. Then I saw a Philly steak sandwich and a Alfredo pasta dish. A Hugh appetizer menu and 3 different folks attending to our needs. A very impressive place run here. If you want anything. Just come here. I look forward to having the many items on the menu. I think this is the best Mexican joint in this town. They have a lunch special that used to be super cheap, but due to inflation prices had to eventually go up. 12.95 lunch specials starting at 11am...they start you off with some piping hot chips and a big bowl of salsa...now this particular day the salsa was incredible..hot, delicious. They will refill a basket of chips once free of charge...and this time, they gave us a refill on salsa... we polished the whole bowl off...so good!! Staff is so friendly here, I ordered the cheese enchilada, shredded beef taco combo and hub got the two ground beef tacos. Portions were pretty big for the price point. Love this place and will be back...if I had one bad thing to say..I would say invest in a water filter, because the tap water tastes not so good. read more

Went to Orioles Mexican Restaurant for the first time our oder was to go, while waiting I couldn't help notice the atmosphere was alive and energetic, people laughing, talking, and really enjoying their meals it was fantastic. Our order was perfect I ordered the chili verde burrito with beans and cheese this was the best burrito I've had in a very long time, my kids loved their carne asada burritos and my wife loved her taquitos we WILL be going there again for dinner there. This restaurant is located in Bullhead's City across the street from Walmart, just off HWY95. It's in a small strip mall and shares parking with the other stores. I was greeted soon after I entered and given the choice of a booth or table. It has a small bar area and a big screen TV. I had their steak fajita, serving sizes was big enough for me to have leftovers for dinner. You have a choice of corn or flour tortillas. Salsa had a little bit of a bite to it but not overpowering. Staff was very friendly and checked in with me frequently to make sure I had everything I needed or to refill my drink glass. Give them a try. I'll go back whenever I'm in Bullhead's. read more

They had a pretty big menu selection. I was craving pozole but they dont serve it. I got a Chile relleno and hard shell taco plate. The taco was good, the rest was OK. My husband's chimichanga was served warm, not hot. I brought my sister here to celebrate her birthday. She was craving steak fajitas. Fajitas presentation was very nice but she said the steak was very chewy, she couldn't eat it. They gave her a wonderful birthday desert with a huge sparkler candle but they sang to her while I was in the bathroom so I missed the whole thing. Happy Hour margaritas are a bit weak. Food was good but nothing turns me off faster than that dried bubbly ring around refried beans when they are microwaved. Well the food was not good today. I've been there a few times and it's always been good. Had hamburgers. They were dry. They looked like they were from the freezer. The french fries were freezer fries. It was not good food and when I went to the counter cuz we took everything home for the dogs. The the girl at the counter said how was everything I said not good and she said oh we should have told the waiter I'm like. Yeah okay. He hardly came to the table we didn't get but one refill and I didn't even get a refill. First I was with did but from somebody else it took too much time to get the mayonnaise and the ketchup for the hamburgers and french fries to enjoy and plus the hamburger. My bun was totally burnt and it was just horrible and it was cold so I don't know how it was burnt and cold unless it sat there for a long time. So tomorrow will. The story is if you go in there what a Mexican food don't order the hamburgers. Also the people at the counter whoever was out there didn't care that $40 worth of food was going home for the dogs. My family and I spent the day in Laughlin so we wanted some good Mexican food and since el charro was closed for the day. We went at 2 pm and we're seated immediately. The service is really good and all the staff are super kind! But the food was meh. My moms carne asada quesadilla was really greasy and looked drenched in oil. Oriol's is usually very good, good quality and location we went there today for lunch Burritos were good, the guacamole was very good but I tried my go to meal "Chili Colorado " had good taste and was nuclear hot (heat) but the beef was super shredded so much so that it took a minute to tell if it was the chili or the beans. Like I said the taste was good just nut the chunks of beef that I am used to in there defense I have yet to find a really good Chili Colorado in Arizona. Used to come here often when I lived in this area 15 yrs ago. Probably the best mex in this town. Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking. Staff is overly attentive, excessively asking if "we're good" 15 to 20 times over our meal. That is until we were finished and then they were all MIA. Probably took 25 min to get our check after the buss person took our plates away. I was tempted just to walk out since they didn't seem to want me to pay. My family of 8 wentto eat at Oriol's around 7:30ish, we were seated and the waitress came to take are drink order. She was kindly asked to please start at the other side of the table, tells my husband shes fine where she is and continues to ask loudly for drink orders​ across the table, again my husband asks please go to the other side of the table instead of yelling. (The server ladies voice is very high pitched which is why we asked to please go take order on other side) she then gets arguementive and says she will get her manager. She leaves to get manager, my husband see manager to explain situation, the server then feels the need to follow my husband to her manager and buts into their conversation, my husband then comes to sit down. We can still hear server complaining to workers in dinning area about situation so we decide to leave. As we walk out this female server is at the kitchen area cussing to other workers saying "what the F*** am I suppose to do" workers turn around and walk out. Server was very unprofessional and uncalled for. All she was asked was to go to the other side of table to take order instead of having to yell orders across the table. We love Oriols but after that experience we are not likely to return due to waitresses her attitude. read more

I called to find out if they had vegetarian rice and beans and they said no. Yelp listing is misleading. They do not have vegetarian options because beans are not vegetarian if they contain lard and chicken is not vegetarian if it contains chicken stock. I guess vegetarians could order a quesadilla if the tortillas are lard free but that is the opposite of "many vegetarian options." Vegetarians can get very ill from these kind of meat derived ingredients and this listing should not mislead them. Many people need to reduce meat and meat ingredients due to medical issues like heart problems and MS. BHC mexican restaurants need to do better and include real vegetarian options not fake ones. read more

My wife and I, along with my service dog were discriminated against on November 10th. We entered Oriol's Mexican Restaurant at approximately 5:15 pm, whereas we asked for a booth. The hostess at the counter asked if our dog was a service animal, to which we answered yes. Although, it was apparent considering she had on a clearly marked service vest. Nonetheless, we asked again for a booth. She stated we would be seated in the back left corner against a wall. We stated, there was a booth open to the right and she told us that wasn't an option because other people were in the area and she didn't want to deal with complaints. We then pointed out their available smaller booths just to the left, and again, she denied our request. At this point, we advised her that she cannot discriminate against us when our dog is a service dog. After she still refused, we asked for her name prior to leaving (Maria). I then decided to go back in and ask for a manager while my wife and service dog waited outside the front door. The manager, Elizabeth, came out and told me that they are justified in seating us in the back, at a table, against the wall, because the City Council said it's okay. We then went to our vehicle where I decided to look up the specific ADA restaurant requirements for our service dog. I took a screen shot to share with them. Thinking, okay, I'll give them one more opportunity to do the right thing. I attempted to share with the manager, "A restaurant cannot legally seat a customer in a specific area just because they have a service dog. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that a person with a service animal be allowed in all areas where the public is normally permitted to go and not be segregated from other customers". She then asked me what the purpose of training was for my dog. I explained to her that I'm an 80% disabled Marine Veteran with both hearing loss (I wear very visual hearing aids) and PTSD. At this juncture, I was still refused seating. I also want to add that the day we went there was not only the Marines birthday, but Veterans Day was right around the corner. After reading multiple reviews it is clear this establishment does not follow the ADA requirements. There are at least nine other complaints for exact or similar situations. While I do not know if any of them filed ADA complaints; I will be filing mine. And considering the manager stated the City Council authorized them to segregate disabled individuals with service animals; I will also be reaching out to them to bring to light the discriminating practices at this establishment. read more

So if your ever in bullhead City check Oriol's it's a Mexican restaurant the food there is pretty good and if you like margaritas and make some ginormous margaritas there's plenty of rooms to sit there just be careful they charge you for little miscellaneous items on the menu so look careful when you order something. read more

Upon walking in, the staff is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. We always visit Oriol's on our way out of Laughlin. They are amazing at accommodating big parties. We usually have a party of 20, and they go out of their way to seat us all together. Grab a drink at the bar while you wait-- good micheladas and margaritas. Once seated, the chips are fresh, and the salsa is tasty, though not spicy. Nothing on the menu is very spicy; however, everything is good. The chilaquiles are always good. My husband enjoyed the fajitas, and my son always got the chile verde--best item on menu in my opinion. My daughter ordered the camarones a la diabla and said they were good but not spicy. Oysters are always a must, and the guacamole is fresh. Breakfast is served until 1 PM, so there's something for everyone. Overall, Oriol's is a great place with good Mexican food for the location and excellent service. And you cannot beat their pricing. read more
