We tried Mohave Steakhouse for the first time. We were driving around Bullhead and it looked like a nice place to eat. We got seated very quickly and there was live music for our entertainment. We ordered a couples share which let us pick a starter and then we had a choice of soup or salad and an entree for each of us. I got the 6 oz sirloin and it was salty and our waitress asked us how our food was and I told her it was too salty so she took it back and then she brought me a different steak and it was delicious. All of our food was really hot and tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. Wish we had room for dessert because the chocolate cake looked so tasty. We started off with a couple of drinks. I had the Appletini and hubby had 805 on tap. This place is known as the King of steaks. Hubby had New York steak with lobster and had the Delmonico steak. Steaks were tender and juicy and flavorful. Lobster was tasty but was on the firmer side. We both got baked potato. There was an option to get it loaded. We opted not to. For dessert, I ordered the carrot cake to go. The only complaint I have is the lighting. It was dark. I saw other patrons using their phone for extra lighting while looking at the menu and also to pay the tab. Other than that. Overall great place. When we are in town. Not only did Mohave Steakhouse have the full menu (breakfast, lunch, and dinner!) available, they provided outstanding service and delivered outstanding meals all the way around. All six of us ordered something different, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner and ranging from chicken, pasta, and steaks. All six meals came out at the same time and each one of them was cooked to perfection! Whoever was working the grill is an absolute magician. Before our entrees, we ordered calamari as an appetizer. Calamari can be tricky as it's very easy to overcook and come out chewy. Yet, this calamari was also cooked to perfection. The ambiance at Mohave Steakhouse is great with an energizing vibe and great music. The tables are nicely spaced. You didn't feel packed in. Wow! This was the best dinner I've ever had in this town! We had not been to Bullhead for years when a family gathering brought us to Mohave Steakhouse. Hubby & I went here for his first time, my second. One thing I miss from that first visit is the bread they used to have. I remember it as a ciabatta style bread sliced on the bias, it was soft on the inside with the right amount of chew. Was a bit bummed that they don't have that now. Overall, food was good. We started with calamari. It was OK, not the best but not the worst. Their dinner salads are good - the ranch is creamy and not tangy like the bottled ranch dressing - definitely tasted house made. I had a pork chop which did not disappoint - it was tender and juicy. The loaded mashed potatoes were very good. The sleeper hit of my dinner were those vegetables - the buttered carrots, squash, and broccoli were yummy! Hubby had a Delmonico. It was good, was cooked well. The steaks aren't comparable to what we eat in higher end steakhouses but we didn't expect that either so he wasn't disappointed. The mac & cheese was good. Service and Ambiance are both on point. The only complaint is with the bill. My husband stopped in while waiting for me to finish at the salon next door. We weren't in the mood for a full dinner so we decided to stay for a couple appetizers. The bill came in at just under $70!!! Particularly shocking was: $1.50 ADDED to the already $7 cocktail. $13 for an order of mediocre onion rings and $18for shrimp cocktail. We left a generous tip of $17...for the excellent service. We were seated promptly. They seemed pretty busy with large groups but our order was taken within maybe 10 minutes of being seated. I had the skirt steak, topped with mushrooms and onions and he had the sirloin and chicken. OMG...my food was AMAZING! The steak was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The meat was tender and flavorful. I got the sweet potato side and I loved the cinnamon sugar that it came with. My husband raved about his meal and we were probably the last couple in the restaurant by the time we left Lol The only issue we had was that it was COLD! I've never been disappointed when I have gone to Mohave Steakhouse. For my sides I ordered their steak stew soup and rice pilaf. Their steak stew is my favorite. The cuts of meat are so tender. My server brought out some hot bread with my soup. After I ate my stew my rib plate came out. The pork ribs were extremely tender and very very meaty. I could not finish my plate and I needed a to go box. I took home about 3 ribs. The staff here has always been great and I have never had a bad dining experience. read more

From the outside it's easy to miss, small parking lot and next to stores that looked closed. Inside it's dark and sets a "steakhouse vibe" for sure. We actually mentioned to the host (and she agreed) that it was quite cold. There's a separate bar/eating area and then a dining room area. In our group we had the prime rib, ribs, cheeseburger, and pasta. The food had good taste, but the standout was definitely the ribs and the artichoke appetizer. In our opinion the only restaurant that closely compares to this one in the whole area is the Gourmet room inside the Riverside. But expect to pay twice as much for the same quality.
