Excellent steakhouse in Bullhead city. After a day on the river this place hits the spot. Staff, overall very friendly and attentive. Always checking in to see if everything is good. We started off with a couple of drinks. I had the Appletini and hubby had 805 on tap. This place is known as the King of steaks. Hubby had New York steak with lobster and had the Delmonico steak. Steaks were tender and juicy and flavorful. Lobster was tasty but was on the firmer side. We both got baked potato. There was an option to get it loaded. We opted not to. For dessert, I ordered the carrot cake to go. The only complaint I have is the lighting. It was dark. I saw other patrons using their phone for extra lighting while looking at the menu and also to pay the tab. Other than that. Overall great place. When we are in town. This will be my place to go to.

Just want to shout to both ladies were super on point with service .i had a filet mignon with garlic mash potatoes shout to the cook as well was cooked how I like , didn't have to send anything back. The food was warm the way i like as well. Would definitely be coming back to this place when i come in town. DELICIOUS, DELIGHTFUL, DEFINITELY, great service .. all 3 DDD's. The Steakhouse Combos are a great deal with selection that will make your mouth water. Sirloin with Ribs, Sirloin with Shrimp, or Sirloin with Lobster to name a few. The prime rib sandwich was very good. Bread nice and fresh the meat cooked tender. The salad that was served was on a very cold plate with fresh lettuce and veggies. Loved the tasty creamy Italian dressing. The service was great our waitress recommended plates to us. The bread served with dinner was the Bomb! The restaurant was nice and roomy. Booths and tables along with a bar.

Great food, great service, nice clean restaurant and bathrooms. Convenient location. Good parking lot. Easy in and out. Perfect, when visiting Laughlin, Nevada, Bullhead city, Arizona, and the donkeys in Oatman, Arizona.

Stopped in for a early dinner. Was seated right away. Drink order was taken, and then we placed our order for two ribeye and one New York steak. The salads and bread were delivered. They were great. Service was fantastic. Steaks were out of this world and the loaded baked potato was great.. The restaurant had a great ambience. We traveled from Lake Havasu up to Bullhead city just to have the steak, which we do every year. Last year made it up here twice. Thank you, Mojave Steakhouse, and your employees.!!!

Hubby & I went here for his first time, my second. One thing I miss from that first visit is the bread they used to have. I remember it as a ciabatta style bread sliced on the bias, it was soft on the inside with the right amount of chew. Was a bit bummed that they don't have that now. Overall, food was good. We started with calamari. It was OK, not the best but not the worst. Their dinner salads are good - the ranch is creamy and not tangy like the bottled ranch dressing - definitely tasted house made. I had a pork chop which did not disappoint - it was tender and juicy. The loaded mashed potatoes were very good. The sleeper hit of my dinner were those vegetables - the buttered carrots, squash, and broccoli were yummy! Hubby had a Delmonico. It was good, was cooked well. The steaks aren't comparable to what we eat in higher end steakhouses but we didn't expect that either so he wasn't disappointed. The mac & cheese was good. Thr service was good, you could see they have a team approach as several staff made sure our drinks were filled and clearing plates, etc. Overall, it was a good meal.

As far as I am concerned, this is the best Mexican food on either side of the Colorado. Starting with the freshly made corn and flour tortillas (I usually eat flour tortillas, but at El Charro, I will choose corn tortillas 99.9% of the time.) The chips are terrific with two salsas brought to the table. The Choriqueso is a cheesy deliciousness. I am not really a pozole fan, but here, it is very good and really has an awesome taste. I always get their menudo. Lots of honey comb and a good ratio of corn to meat. For me, the fact that I can get pata is great because it is becoming harder to find many restaurants that will provide you with that delicacy. I always alternate between their different tacos and this time I got a tripa taco. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is great here. Well fried and crispy and with their hotter salsa spread over it, with fresh tortilla, I am in heaven. From my first trip to this restaurant, I have always loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It truly feels like a great little Mexican restaurant and I am happy to see they have expanded. I envy all you folks who live in Bullhead City and have easy access to this restaurant. I live in Phoenix and no trip to Laughlin is complete without a stop to El Charro.

When we politely asked why, we weren't given an explanation--just repeatedly told that we couldn't bring it in. We were confused and even debated whether we wanted to stay. I eventually asked another staff member, who kindly explained the reason behind the policy. Once it was explained, we completely understood and were fine with it. A simple explanation from the beginning would have made all the difference. The rest of our experience was wonderful. Our server was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything throughout our meal. The food was also delicious, and everyone in our party really enjoyed it. The place looked great except for the restroom trash can was overflowing with paper towels, maybe invest in a bigger trash can if you have that much foot traffic However, toward the end of dinner, we noticed another family with a child who had a water bottle at their table. That left us confused all over again. If the policy applies to everyone, it should be enforced consistently. If there are exceptions, those should be communicated clearly. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but the inconsistent handling of the water bottle policy left us with mixed feelings.

We had a hard time finding anything that tasted fresh. Most of the food was either fried or heavily covered in sauce, and there weren't many lighter or freshly prepared options. The hibachi station was especially disappointing because it was out of meats every time we went back, making it difficult to actually enjoy one of the main attractions of the restaurant. While the prices are relatively inexpensive, I still felt it was expensive for the quality of the food we received. In the end, none of us ate very much, and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner afterward. The customer service was perfectly fine, and the staff was courteous. However, one thing that really stood out in a negative way was a young man handling food who had extremely long fingernails on both hands. That's simply not something I want to see from someone preparing or serving food I'll be eating. I hope they improve the freshness of the food and keep the hibachi station consistently stocked, because the restaurant has potential. As it stands, though, it just wasn't an experience our family would repeat.

The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.
