They have great specials too Two things to do for five stars: switch to avocado-based mayo for deli (Costco has a giant jar that's economical and would change to a healthful mayo instead of toxic seed oil based mayo). And, just a thought: Offer real oven-roasted turkey, not processed turkey, in the deli for non chemical meats. Thanks for caring so much. Great job.

They bring so much h to our community, have AMAZING products and the deli sandwiches are beyond amazing!!! Get the "Angry Italian" you will NOT be disappointed! Great prices, different things to try. Also they have a cute little spot to get coffee and hang out/eat....WHILE watching your kids play in the cutest little mock grocery store they built inside! The platters are delish and look wonderful. I recently had the bruschetta platter. The bread was tasty and the bruschetta itself ad side of balsamic glaze paired perfect! Lastly the "giving board" where members of the community give others a meal, coffee, etc. in case they are hungry/not enough money. Thank you for being a staple in our community!!!

****Pizza Shop Only Review****…read more Been getting pizza in the Big Y Pizza Shop for years. Myself and many other pizza lovers I know will arguably say this is the best pizza in Enfield. The pizza here is a complete package, crust, sauce, cheese, whatever toppings you desire and price. An 18" two topping pizza is only $17.99! As of 8/22/25. Many people find it hard to believe that Big Y has phenomenal pizza......and as an added bonus the service is quick and always pleasant with me. I always take my pie home but they have a small, quaint eating area up front by the registers. They also sell pizza by the slice if you only want a slice or two. Give the pizza shop at Big Y a shot, you may just agree with me!

As a former grocery…read morestore manager if I had a manager that ran out of a special EVER time it's advertised, I would replace that manager quickly. Every time Bell and Evans chicken breasts are advertised for $4.99lb they run out. Since they are out on a Tuesday morning and the sale goes thru Wednesday, I'm sure they were out on Monday also. That's why I went on Tuesday, because they never have it on Monday. Why he doesn't order enough is beyond me. They are a popular item and would easily sell thru shortly. He would not offer a substitute (organic) and simply replied the will be here tomorrow. A real charmer

Came on a busy Sunday and really didn't know what to expect as this was my first time ever in an Aldi. Was a bit messy and chaotic but found a couple things for the work week lunch and walked out. Would say 3 star experience but still mind blown for the carts.

I always feel like I must be cheating when I fill my Aldi's car ($.25 refundable when you return…read morethe cart), and the tab is something like $45.00--which at any other grocery, including Costco wholesale warehouse, would be at least double. Cost isn't everything, so I also appeciate the fresh produce, the wide variety of meats and dairy (like half & half cheaper than Costco), and the frozen fish (which I sure is purchased from the same source as Aldi's brother store--Trader Joe's), like wild salmon and ahi tuna. I love the European chocolate variety as well. If I have any complaints they are: not everything is always in stock. We had a week or so without celery. AND, my #1 complaint everywhere is Canola oil in almost all packaged foods. I wish I could get the cashews and mixed nuts without Canola. Canola is a BAD oil, super hydrogenated to kill the hexane poison used to extract oil from the rapeseed. Monsanto doesn't care. But, we should! That said, I am an Aldi's fan for everything else.

Like any other supermarkets, you need to shop sales, although produce is usually fresh and sale prices very good. But, actually, this review is mainly regarding the lunchtime steam table. During weekdays, it's usually available from just prior to 11A until about 1:15 P. Pay by the pound ($9.99). Huge variety, including items like zucchini fries, eggplant fries, fried pickle chips, yada yada yada. Pot roast and roast turkey appear regularly, as do various style wings and tenders, a fish entree (or two), and an Italian entree. It got to the point earlier this year, that I was visiting several times a week. So, no lie, I actually gave up the Geissler's steam table FOR LENT, FOR CRIPES SAKE!!! It was difficult, but I managed to do it. Not sure if all 7 G's locations offer similar steam tables. Thankfully, Warehouse Point does. BTW, right after Lent ended, I think I got about a lb of food... 5 steamy stars

Usually, the self check out freezes at some point during the transaction and I have to start over at another register. Sometimes, the regular cashiers credit card terminals don't work and we have to restart on register 3 instead of 2. Sometimes, I ring everything up at self check out and the credit card reader doesn't recognize any of my credit or debit cards. Today, the woman in front of me typed in her phone number 15 times (yes 15 times) and the terminal still wouldn't take it. The cashier said, "it's not you, it's our system". This is just stupid. Every single visit. Not once in the past 8 months have I had a "normal" check out experience. I bring it up in the store often and they always say "yeah, we know" or "yeah, nothing we can do about it" I'm just saying, the dollar store, Burger King, Walmart, Lowe's, Chipotle, no where else I go ever has issues like this and I know I'm not the only one. The customer in front of me today was embarrassed because she was holding up the line. I'm only mentioning this here because nobody at the store seems to care and someone needs to know to get the technology fixed. I don't want to drive all the way to stop and shop to do my grocery shopping.
